my blackberry droped in the toilet i quickly remove my battery and sim card then put them back everything is fine but my scroll button is not working i can push but i can scroll to the left right top and bottom. itried to dry it (i put it outside on the sun but it still not working

View 9 Replies View RelatedSo with my 8530 ill be texting my friend and then ill go to type my message and when i enter it sometimes it doesnt show up, and then sometimes if i try to scroll up to see the earlier messages and then try to scroll back down, it wont let me scroll all the way back down, so then i click back and then try to go into that chat with the person and it wont even let me in, and if it does it takes forever. tried a battery pull.

So i eventually got frustrated enough to make a post on here. What it will do is almost a few times per day it will freeze up the trackpad, making it entirely useless. It wont click, it wont scroll, it wont do ANYTHING. ill do multiple battery pulls and resets and STILL NOTHING. Ive waited 3 hours this time,constantly pulling the battery out, and nothing changes. Ive cleaned the screen and everything too. Is there any other way to fix this

It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!
Every button on my phone is frozen and all i can do is scroll up and down, there is no water damage to it and all i can do is take the battery out. Its has done it twice previously but not for as long as it has this time

Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?

I dropped my blackberry in water but there was no damage to it, but now when I explain it to my network provider they think it's because of the water damage. But heres the catch. I know that my trackpad is not messed up because in my home screen I can scroll all around. Its just in my BBM that it is not letting me scroll up & down.
