BB Curve :: 8520 Wont Click, It Wont Scroll, It Wont Do ANYTHING?

ive been having problems with my trackpad ALOT recently. Ive looked all over for ways to fix this and i can never find an answer to it. So i eventually got frustrated enough to make a post on here. What it will do is almost a few times per day it will freeze up the trackpad, making it entirely useless. It wont click, it wont scroll, it wont do ANYTHING. ill do multiple battery pulls and resets and STILL NOTHING. Ive waited 3 hours this time,constantly pulling the battery out, and nothing changes. Ive cleaned the screen and everything too. Is there any other way to fix this
I got a text message on my blackberry 8520 and I entered the password as usual and the trackpad would not move, I couldn't scroll but I could click but not scroll.
My blackberry scroller wont click or scroll! I have phoned blackberry and they want to restart it so I wanna see if there is anything I can to fix it to prevent them doing that!
I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!
The trackpad on my curve 9300 keeps breaking. I cannot click or scroll at all. Normally, it's not too bad with a few attempts of taking the battery out then putting it back in, but last night, the screen went white - again - so I took the battery out and it said I had no battery though I had at least 40% on there. When I put the battery back in, and the phone began loading, the menu thing came up. I tried to click, 'unlock' and nothing happened. Seconds later, the screen went black as if the phone doesn't recognize my trackpad anymore. I am sick and tired of having a phone that doesn't work! I wouldn't be as mad if it was the first time, but the thing is, it's happened before and every time I go to the phone shop, they say 'oh, it's not our fault, we'll send it off for repair' and when I eventually get it back (2 weeks later) it works for 4 weeks, and I send it off again. I have sent the [hone of 4 times for 'repair' and each time, it takes 2 weeks; that's 8 weeks, or 2 months that I still have to pay 25 pounds in my contract for a phone that doesn't even work. That's 50 pounds wasted on the worst phone available. I got my current phone back in September (after fighting with my phone provider) and it broke in February.
my blackberry droped in the toilet i quickly remove my battery and sim card then put them back everything is fine but my scroll button is not working i can push but i can scroll to the left right top and bottom. itried to dry it (i put it outside on the sun but it still not working
7 month old BB 8520, cannot turn my alt key off, cannot text or scroll or even get onto menu, this is frustrating me. The button clicks and i have had it apart to see if the rubber prong was missing the button but it isn't everything seems fine under the keypad.
I've just got a iphone 5c and it was working while setting up apple id etc but once that was finished and i got to using the actual phone it comes up with squares on what i press and i have to press it twice to access the buttons,it wont scroll either ...
When i click on my email, it opens up but i can't click on anything in the application. My button isn't broke, it works fine with al other things. And the Blackberry button also doesn't work while in my email. I can only go back to my menu...
I've tried removing the battery and this doesnt work, there is no water damage, when the phone just turns on I could move with the trackpad but I cannot click Ok on the message. None of the buttons work.
So with my 8530 ill be texting my friend and then ill go to type my message and when i enter it sometimes it doesnt show up, and then sometimes if i try to scroll up to see the earlier messages and then try to scroll back down, it wont let me scroll all the way back down, so then i click back and then try to go into that chat with the person and it wont even let me in, and if it does it takes forever. tried a battery pull.
my blackberry curve usually works perfectly fine but in this last week its been crashing a lot.. & for hours on end! The only thing I can do is scroll, I can't press the trackpad in, use the keyboard, or any other buttons just scroll.
So I have a media card and I have some pictures stored on the device and a majority of them stored on my sd card. When I click on media and then pictures the folder is completely empty and there is nothing there. If I highlight pictures and click explore and then find my pictures it shows that they are on the sd card and it shows that some are stored to the device memory. I can't open the files because the names have been changed to a .al format. Also my pictures folders even when I click explore, are hidden. I try to uncheck the box that says hide so they will no longer be hidden but it doesn't let me. Howw can I get all my pictures back to normal so I can see them when I click on media and pictures?
OK I have checked other threads and havent found a solution...it could be that there isn't one but somehow I am optimistic. Saturday night my phone worked fine. I go to bed wake up and my scroll ball wont click. It scrolls fine but does not select when pressed. I took it to Verizon, they claim water damage. I haven't dropped it in water or anything like that so I am not sure how that's possible. They replaced my trackball and it still doesn't work. Any additional ideas? I can go the Asurion and replace it but don't really want to do that for something as minute as this.
mMy blackberry 9500 n it wnt let me click nething. i can scroll, do virtually everything else, but i cant click ne links or nething. i cant navigate off the page i get too because i cnt select nething. ne ideas?
I searched, but couldn't find anything. I got my first Blackberry today-a Tour 9630. It has the OS V 4.7.1.57. To answer a text message at this point (after there is a message notification), I have to scroll to message Icon, click with ball, hit menu key, scroll down to "view folder", and then scroll to "SMS Inbox". Surely there is a simpler way to this?
I've also read about combining SMS and MMS messages into a single message type-is this possible? Can I at least combine the inbox/outboxes?
I am getting a replacement 8530 for my current 8530 because my trackpad is off centered and recently I am now able to move it around. I called verizon explained everything and their answer "software problem, we're sending you a new one under your warranty" Whatever, its physical not software, but they are sending me out a replacement anyways so I dont care.
However, how do I put stuff on the new one? I use blackberry desktop manager, and click "Backup" and it backs up. When I connect the new one do I just click "Restore"? Also when I back up, the tab for contacts is grayed out and I CANNOT click it. So I wont be able to restore that, why?
I have had my bold 9000 since it was released and lately the scroll ball has been a pain it wont let me scroll down. I`ve cleaned it with alcohol also put the phone on its face on a flat surface rolled it around it that way. any other ideas?
After working properly for two weeks, my VM-605 is acting weird. Every call begins with "the voice" saying CALL ENDED, and then it proceeds to accept or place the call. Ending a call produces a simple beep. It no longer answers calls with a click of the panel, or re-dials with a double click. What's wrong?
i got 2 weeks problems with mine bb bold 9900.The scroll will not scroll on some menus put it wil work if i click shift and scroll.and my hold button is not working .the scroll en hold problems are 2 weeks going and sometimes it works and now 4 days the buttons never works anymore.I reinstall my blackberry os en downgraded it did the battery pull all these things never works.i got this blackberry 5 months and getting angry with the point that i will buy the iphone or the samsung,
I have a 6 week old Curve 9320, I have recently started having problems scrolling through chats on BBM. Everything else is fine but I can't scroll up or down to earlier messages in a chat.Also I sent a message to all of my contacts but it doesn't say I'm in a chat with every contact.
I've had my phone nearly a year and constantly the trackpad keeps Freezing I have tried cleaning it,left battery and sim card out I've tried loads of things. Recently it has froze since Tuesday. I am getting very annoyed. It clicks but does not scroll and gas worked like s tiny bit like scrolling down 1 space.
A few weeks ago I was on my phone and it was dying, I went to get the charger but it had already died. I plugged it in and turned it on but the scroller wouldn't move. It would click but no matter what I tried it wouldn't move. I looked it up and it said it needed to be wiped, so stupidly I wiped my phone. But still, nothing. It would just click. Now, it's stuck on terms and conditions and non-usable. I've had to use my old blackberry which is falling apart I tried looking again online to see if there was any other solutions and I came across one saying that the software needed to be update.
I have a blackberry curve 9630, and my scroll thing does not work. I've tried updating my blackberry but now my phone is stuck to "THIS HANDHELD INCLUDES SOFTWARE..." page and now I can't use my phone at all..
My blackberry curve wont scroll in any direction on the blackberry home menu without holding in the shift key. Also when I hold the lock key ( the * key) it goes right into standby mode and I have to use the mute key to get it out of standby.This happened about two days ago when I noticed the ALT function seemed to be stuck on even though the button was not stuck in any way.
I've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.
I recently broke my blackberry 9300 curve,I now have a new phone which means i need to cancel my BBM music subscription,only thing is,i cant get to the cancel service button in the app. how to use the keypad to scroll down without the use of the trackpad at all.
Every button on my phone is frozen and all i can do is scroll up and down, there is no water damage to it and all i can do is take the battery out. Its has done it twice previously but not for as long as it has this time
I have had my curve 8530 for about a year and a half. I do quite a bit of texting and bbm'ing. Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?
