BB Bold :: Can't Log In From Email Settings

After opening email settings, choosing internet email account etc. a list of 3 of my emails I already registered appears, but none of them can send or recieve emails. They appear as disactivated, I must key my password and click verify or activiate, but suddenly appears: Sorry, unable to continue the session, please log in again. Blackberry Internet Service.....NO HELP Taking off the battery for more than 5min. hose settings don't even give you the option to delete or create a new account!

I recently upgaded to BB OS 6.0 and was able to get my email configured, but I needed to make some changes to the configuration and when I go to Setup>Email Accounts nothing happens. I hit the enter button and I click with the trackpad, but it never goes into the setup.

My internet provider changed protocol for username for email account. Changed on computers successfully, not able to do it on BlackberryBold 9900. I went to email accounts, highlighted the account, pressed menu button to change username. But there is no edit option in the menu. there is validate, delete, etc. no edit. have no idea what to do. Unless the username is changed i cant receive emails.

I have tried to chnage a few settings in the process of getting a longer battery life and now I cannot see the "sync email to handheld "or email signatures under email Preferences anymore. Not sure what I chnaged. I only see ënable HTML Email" there now. Not getting any emails delivered under Desktop anymore. Have tried removing the battery and restarting phoen, still no luck. How do I get this back to normal settings?

For several weeks have been unable to connect to email settings to change signatures, etc. Message reads: Your device encountered a problem with this application,s server. Select OK and repeat the action to try again.I may try to reinstall OS, but will wait a couple days for the "easy" answer.One complicating factor: I travel in and out of Indonesia with work and change providers every time. My gmail always seems to migrate ok, as they are registered on both. Maybe it makes a difference.

on my BB Bold 9650 ,While trying to change email addresses or add a new address, it asks for user name and password and I can't get past that message. I've used every user name and password combination I own and nothing gets me into the email settings mode.

I have two email accounts associated with my Blackberry Bold. Both worked fine. I then stopped receiving emails to one. When I try to check that settings are right, i cannot because when I enter username and password I get a message: " The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user names is about 20 characters long.

I have recently had to change my e-mail account passwords. Now in order to change them on my blackberry I am asked to do the following when I go to the set up:
File Path : Setup - Email Accounts
Existing Users If you want to access your email settings or you changed your device, log in
User Name:
Password:
I have 3 e-mail accounts going to this phone and each has a new password. I do not know what my user name is, I set it up 2 years ago...how do I retreive my username? when I click on "forgot password" it says the password has been sent to my phone, but I never receive it.

I noticed today when I got home that none of my email had come through on my BB. I did a battery pull. So, I went to "Manage Email Settings" and tried to connect, but got "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue." Update - I just checked my device manager and it says I'm disconnected. It says "COM3/Disconnected" to be exact.

When i first got my bb9700 i added my hotmail account and everything was working fine but i deleted my mistake and now when i tryed adding it again i get this msg sent to my phone. If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Mozilla(R) Thunderbird(TM), etc.) to access your avibassi91@hotmail.com messages, change your email client settings to leave your email messages on the server. If the email client does not leave email messages on the server, the BlackBerry(R) Internet Service may not be able to deliver them to your BlackBerry(R) device. To leave email messages on your email server you may need to complete the following steps:
1. In your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on your computer, under Tools or Mail > Preferences.
2. Select your email account.
3. Locate advanced, server settings or options.
4. Select the option to leave email messages on the server.

My email settings icon is missing in my Setup Folder. I only have three icons available in my Setup Folder; the icon for Setup Wizard Wi-Fi Settings and Bluetooth Settings. how I can retrieve the email Settings icon on my BB Bold 9700 so I am able to set up my internet email account on my BB?

Anyone else missing the 'Edit Signature' option under Email Settings on their 9650? I just noticed this afternoon it's not there. I'm running 5.0.0.810 on BES.Not sure how long it has been missing; if it has been gone since June since I switched from my 8330 to this 9650 or if it was when I upgraded from .732 to .810.
Just wanted to check, I'll probably try downgrading back to .732 to see if it brings it back.I've actually only got three options under Email Settings; Enable HTML, Download images and Confirm external image download.

In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.

I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.

I'm getting the following message "your device encountered a problem with this application's server" when I try to add an email in Email settings. This problem is occurring since 15-NOV-2010. I'm using O2 service provider. i've called them and reported this problem. O2 service provider did all possible troubleshooting and they advices everything is ok on their side. They don't know why am I getting this message.not able to add an email or edit my existing email settings.

I have been a Blackberry fan for years and have setup countless Blackberry's for friends. I recently changed jobs and therefore, had to change my email settings, to receive work emails on my Blackberry Torch. I emailed our hosting company and asked for the settings to setup my phone, I received this response: (have blanked out my details for security reasons)To setup the email account on your BlackBerry device you will need the following information Email address: ********@******.co.zausername: ********Password: ********Incoming mail server: The incoming mail server is tricky as your organisation doesn't have a static IP address. For now try IP Address: **.***.***.***I have tried these settings as well as the settings in my Outlook account settings folder (the incoming server on my Outlook is a local IP Address, to the server in our office)None of which have worked. I have contacted both our hosting company and Vodacom (my BB service provider) neither are able to assist me? Even my husband (who is an IT specialist has tried, with no luck) I then tried to use the BIS html option to find my settings, but for some reason Vodacom does not allow this, I received this error message when trying to logon/register: Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Email Set-up. I recently bought a Curve 8520 blackberry and got it unlocked, I got problems regarding setup-in my email. I should go to set up. Click set up wizard then email setup. And only one is appearing in my device which says: I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server.
The Email Settings : add more account envelope is missing ! I activated my host route table 100% fine, but I cannot set up a personal email, only a enterprise one.

I just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.

When I go into the mailbox on my Torch, and click on "options", nothings happens, so I've tried the same with "Messages" , and nothing happens. Text Messages options work, so I have no idea what could be wrong. its been like this since I got it. No matter how I try access it, I just can't, it doesn't do anything. Even if I go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", when I click on "Internet Mail Account", it does nothing. However "Enterprise Account" works. I do have an email account on it, but ever since I tried to access settings it doesn't work. I don't know what else to do,I've tried battery pulls, and all that stuff.

I was using another sim card for a couple of weeks. During that time I changed my passwords in both of my Gmail accounts. Now that I went back to my old sim card I got a message in my email accounts telling me that I have to validate the passwords, so I went to Email Settings but I got a message saying: "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue".

I forgot the username that I need to access Email Settings, I have the password but not the username. I've tried all the possible usernames I could have given but none of them work.
What is the format of that username? Is it just a username like 'James31' or is it like 'James31@bell.blackberry.net'
Can it be completely different from your Emali address? eg email address could be 'x@bell.blackberry.net' then does the username have to be 'x' or can it be like 'xdfak'?

Ever since this morning my Blackberry 9300 hasn't received any mail. I have two accounts set up on it, a Gmail account and my work webmail account.If I try to go into the email settings, I get message: 'connecting to email settings' and an hour glass and eventually 'your device has a problem connecting to the server'.
I have tried on both the WIFI at work and the Virgin Media mobile network.
