View 2 RepliesI have a BB 9900 that is only a week old.The BB works perfectly, that is until someone calls me.I can answer the phone, hear and speak with the person on the other end - no issues. I can use BBM, texting etc, no issues. The problem occurs when I try to hang up after someone calls me. The phone freezes.I can press the hang up button, but it does not return to the main screen. It freezes at the caller ID screen and I have to yank the battery out of it to get back to the main screen that has all the icons on it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got an update for my 9900 but when 'backing up your data' my phone has froze on backing up social feeds at 7% and has been like this for about 6 hours!
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy blackberry bold 9900 appears to be frozen I assume as I started doing the software update since 2pm today and yet its still not finished? It has been 8hours now. It seems to have frozen on 14%. Now I have tried rebooting my phone many times but it keeps on taking me back to the software update page. I am currently unable to access anything on my blackberry device.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did an update on my BB (worst decision ever) and now it is frozen on social feeds. The overall backup progress is at 6% and will not move at all. This is my business phone and it needs to work ASAP.I'm completely annoyed (though not surprised) that this has happened. The phone will not connect to the computer so I'm basically stuck with whatever I can do via the phone. I've removed the battery three times already and the same thing happens.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using a Bold 9900 under T-Mobile. The phone repeats the letters "n" and "m" nonstop. If I leave my phone down, it would show "nmnmnmnmnmnm" after a minute. The keyboard, trackpad, and unlock buttons are also not responsive. I've tried the batter pull numerous times, and it has shown improvement once (I was able to type in my password and go into the home menu). Soon after that the problem returned. The phone just seems half dead and its reponse to my actions are random. Sometimes I'm unable to unlock my phone even after pressing the unlock button numerous times.
I did go to a beach with my phone. But there was no water or sand damage. It was in my hotel room the whole time. as the phone is completely unuseable right now. The screen works, but I am unable to press any keys to unlock/use my phone.
So, I went to check if there was a new OS update. There was, so I downloaded and am currently installing it. However, it's been "installing" for 8 hours now, and it's stuck on 14% Overall backup progress. And 0% Social Feeds. Also, not sure if it's related. (probably is) but my Signal is off and i have no network connection. And I've got good coverage usually at home. I realised the problem about 7 hours in, after it said it would only be 2. So I battery pulled it, and it didn't work, then I tried battery and sim pulling, that didn't work. I've tried hooking it up to my blackberry desktop. It can't pick the device up because of it.

Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve that's frozen up and now all it does is show the loading hourglass.... I've taken out the battery and I've tried letting it finish loading after taking the battery out. Well after letting it sit for 2 hours with this loading screen up it still hasn't done anything. What should I do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWoke up this morning - and it's on the loading screen (that you see after a battery pull) with the progress bar three quarters complete. It's not progressing. Tried removing the battery. Any ideas?
Has been working perfectly for the last 2 months. Haven't changed anything.
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
I just got my BB Bold 9700 this afternoon (WOO!) It's working great but every time I go into my contacts the screen is stuck at "Copying to Contacts" with the bar filled about 3/4 of the way. Is this something that will eventually load fully and I just have wait for or should I look into this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the "Manage Connections" screen to turn on/of wi-fi or mobile network connection, the smart phone's screen get frozen and then a compulsive restart is performed.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've fully charged by Bold and the red light is intermittently blinking, but the display won't turn on. It's stuck solid black and no button will turn it on. I've tried removing the battery and the card, but nothing works.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen in the App World icon was asked to set up BB ID which I did and it was being submitted, an e mail arrived and the screen froze with the applicating still being submitted message. Only way out f this screen is by tapping red 'power' button. Have turned off BB and on again after couple of minutes, all the rest is OK, but when I go o the App World icon it still comes up with the frozen screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter my blackberry loads completely it has the rogers symbol that shows up after it loads the OS. The screen then fades to completely white. There is nothing on the screen and the backlight is white and never turns off. I tried battery pull number of times. This usually occurs after I start listening to internet radio. It gets fixed when I plug it into my computer last time but Im at work right now and this thing is getting annoying because I can't use my phone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've got a BB BOLD 9700 and I woke up today for it to have an all-white screen, so I turned it off via battery as it was unresponsive and now it won't load past 3/4 of the load-up screen... does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?I've looked around on other forums with advice on what to do with a 'nuked' BB, but they all say you've got to have a Windows PC and I've got a Mac!
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I uninstalled Whatsapp because it said the date and time of my blackberry are wrong. Then it said I have to restart my device, which I did. After the restart, I typed my correct password but then the screen is frozen. I restarted my device again, and it was still the same. But when I typed the wrong password, it responded and "wrong password" window appeared. And then, I saw this post http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Tour/Frozen-after-typing-correct-password-HELP/td-... and it said that I still can switch application by holding the blackberry button and switch between applications that is running on background. And I still can. But it is so annoying that I can't go to my home screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy admittedly very old Blackberry Bold 9000 has turned itself off and won't turn on past the white loading screen. It has a constant red light on with a black screen. The red light will disappear and the screen will go white and show the black timer box thingy for a minute or so like it is about to load then the process will repeat. It's been doing this since last night. I've finally admitted its time to upgrade and have ordered a new handset but would like to boot this up even if it is only to transfer current information.
View 2 Replies View Relatedbasically my blackberry 9000 was charging and whilst charging i took out the battery. the fone screen stayed on but frozen. then wen i removed the charger it has been dead ever since. no response nothing, no led lights wont turn on, wont charge absolutely nothing! is there any hope or is my blackberry dead forever?
View 16 Replies View RelatedI have been reading some other posts on this board that seem to be close to my problem but nothing seems to be working. My phone was fully charged sitting in the charger all night as per norm, but when I woke up I hade a frozen white screen so I pulled the battery for over 2 min's then put it back in the red LED was constant for 15-20 seconds then off. I have tried charging it and tried putting on a new OS but as soon as I plug any USB in the phone the LED will go off and will not be recognised by my laptop nor will I get any charging LED.
