I've fully charged by Bold and the red light is intermittently blinking, but the display won't turn on. It's stuck solid black and no button will turn it on. I've tried removing the battery and the card, but nothing works.
View 1 Repliesive had this issue before and sent it away to be fixed came back and was fine for a couple of months and now the problem is back tried doing a battery pull and everything loads it seams. i have tried using the desktop manager and it successfully loads the updated opperating system but same problem persist. the screen is just black and the blacklight lights up but i dont even see the loading bar when i put the battery back in.

I tried holding the power button in order to reset and nothing happens.. When I press the home button siri turns on but I can't get anywhere with that either..

the email message screen stopped showing received or sent messages as of 9:44 Friday evening (48 hours ago) and the date bar on the email screen shows Jul 2, 2045. The time/date on device is correct.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 1020's FFC has been working fine until yesterday when I tried to use the FFC and it just showed a black screen and you couldn't press any buttons on the screen, I just had to go back to the home screen to do anything else. The regular camera is working fine. Proximity sensor seems to working fine as well. I have done a soft reset with no luck, about to do a hard reset... It's not a huge deal but I do like my phone to be working at 100%!

The lady says that the screen is suppose to go and stay off during a call. Never heard of that from a phone. You cannot respond or do anything during the call.

Dropped my Torch 9800 this morning. It Reset after dropping and now screen will only display in black & white. Is there a setting to go back to color from black & white or did the drop permanently damage the phone?

Same action over and over. I have attempted hard reset but cannot complete. Also attempted to connect with itunes and it does not recognize device. Device is frozen in this display loop.

I have one more problem with 9900 (t-mobile).It strats up (loading status bar goes from left to the right), then it shows Desktop - and then in second or two display shuts down and shows black display only. no responding.I have tried wiping, different OS installed - problem is the same. Once it sturted and worked for a cuple minutes and then same problem - display turns to black.

Only way out f this screen is by tapping red 'power' button. Have turned off BB and on again after couple of minutes, all the rest is OK, but when I go o the App World icon it still comes up with the frozen screen.

After the restart, I typed my correct password but then the screen is frozen. I restarted my device again, and it was still the same. My phone was fully charged sitting in the charger all night as per norm, but when I woke up I hade a frozen white screen so I pulled the battery for over 2 min's then put it back in the red LED was constant for 15-20 seconds then off. I have tried charging it and tried putting on a new OS but as soon as I plug any USB in the phone the LED will go off and will not be recognised by my laptop nor will I get any charging LED.
