basically my blackberry 9000 was charging and whilst charging i took out the battery. the fone screen stayed on but frozen. then wen i removed the charger it has been dead ever since. no response nothing, no led lights wont turn on, wont charge absolutely nothing! is there any hope or is my blackberry dead forever?

My phone was fully charged sitting in the charger all night as per norm, but when I woke up I hade a frozen white screen so I pulled the battery for over 2 min's then put it back in the red LED was constant for 15-20 seconds then off. I have tried charging it and tried putting on a new OS but as soon as I plug any USB in the phone the LED will go off and will not be recognised by my laptop nor will I get any charging LED.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOkay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,
View 12 Replies View Relatedsince installing .411 my Bold hasn't had a single problem, apart from one. Every now and again, I will notice it light up, the screen and keyboard both turn on. After a couple of seconds, it will dim out as it would after use.
I have a windows mobile phone and before I receive a text message, that is exactly what that does, but I receive nothing when the Bold lights up? The only fix I have is to put it into bedside mode as it doesn't seem to happen when in that state....
I just received a used blackberry bold 9000. I still have not been able to turn it on, it is black with a blinking led light (which only shows when plugged in to either the wall charger or USB). It blinks once (red) and then three times very quickly. I can not wipe the hardware because my computer does not recognize the device. Is there anyway to fix this? I do not want to return it if I can easily fix it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having the same issue as covered in lots of threads before. when i try to turn my phone on (pluged in to the wall charger) it just shows the red led for about 10 seconds and switched to white screen with battery thunder bolt symbol in the middle for abotu 10 seconds and then it repeats over and over again. but my phone does something ive never seen talked abotu on here.
When my red led is on the phone is making this weird noise. kinda sounds like fan comin from the phone. and itll only make the noise on the second time around. any suggestion on the noise and what i can do???? i have gotten a new battery, tried the battery pull, and ive waited 2 days and tried again no luck.
my friend was trying to charge his bold and it was charging but then he got the white screen with the loading clock in the middle, then it shut off and it wont turn back on whatsoever..
View 7 Replies View RelatedToday I attempted to upgrade to the new 5.0 OS via Desktop Manager. The backup was completed and software installed. The process stalled on the reboot portion. My phone turned on, and I saw the blackberry screen with the loading bar below. The loading bar filled up and then my usual AT&T World Phone orange screen came up (which usually lasts for about 5 seconds before the home screen comes up). However, the orange screen lasted over an hour. Since the software was already installed I did a battery pull. The phone started up to the same AT&T screen and stops. The backlight still dims as usual, and comes back up on a button push but its stuck there with no home screen, now for another 3 hrs. It won't allow me to try to wipe or reinstall the OS because the phone has to be started to do so, and it says it can't connect to the phone (but it does recognize my device when its plugged into the computer). I have searched the forums for similar problems but haven't found any others with my problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter 8 months it finally went I'm on Vodafone via a contract and I got this Nokia 5800 as an upgrade I love it great piece of kit Music Player is great. On thursday morning thou it went all pear shaped, as I was in a shop I could feel the phone pulsing via the vibration I recieved no call or text it was doing small pulses from the vibration feature.
I whiped it out and unlocked it but the screen stayed blank for about 1min then it finally came on and went back into key lock by its self???. I unlocked it again and the screen came on/off then finally on it had been doing it a few times in the past but not this bad.
I went to send a text and when I touched the screen to bring up the alpha keys it would not type anything it would show that I was hitting the keys but nothing was writing. I had to reboot the phone and it worked for 10mins, I took it into Vodafone and got it sent off to Nokia for repair I hope they repair it much better than what Sony Ericcson do last 2 phones from them have all failed to be fixed of there problems last 2yrs I had there mobiles. I went back to Nokia after 8yrs away because everyone now has a S.E, Samsung or iPhone.

I dropped my BlackBerry Bold 9000 on the weekend and damaged the LCD screen. The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. I'd like to try to fix it, but don't really want to shell out a lot of $ to do so --- I'm a month away from upgrading.Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a dead BlackBerry with a working screen that you're willing to part with? A DIY repair -- this is out of warranty anyway -- looks straightforward, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $100 or so for a new OEM part to replace the LCD screen.

Since then I have been unable to turn it on at all or to get anything from it!
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? I have tried to plugged it in to the charger with and without the battery in as I read that might help, but nothing has worked so far.
I know this sounds like a simple problem, but I am having a difficult time trying to turn off my alarm. The Home screen says it is set for 6AM, and sure enough, it rings at 6AM. I check the clock settings and the alarm shows that it is off. I don't recall setting it (but I know I must have), so I can't figure out how to get it reset. Ideas anyone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI performed a Sync using Blackberry Desktop and now the Bold 9000 is "dead". The battery was fully charged prior to the sync and the unit was working properly. Following the sync the unit display went blank and the unit will not turn on. I have removed the battery and replaced it with another known fully charged battery and I stll cannot get a system boot sequence to start. I have attempted to re-insert the sync cable and connect to the computer but the unit is still dead.I have also tried the charging cable but to no avail.

View 13 Replies View Relatedi bought a bold second hand ages ago and it was working fine until one night when i came in to find my phone switched off with 4 shortish/medium flashing red lights in a sequence, hasnt been dropped or waterdamaged and i had no apps on it and the stock os as i only need it for emails and texts. i cant get it to be recognised by the computer and i know the wire isnt faulty as i borrowed my friends 7230 wire (mini usb is the same for both models) and her 7230 and her husbands 9000 is recognised with and without the battery by my pc and hers.ive tried the following:1. battery pull - 1 long red light then the continuous four medium flashes over and over, same when i plug it into a pc (no red light or battery icon at all when plugged in without a battery)2. using desktop manager - nothing happens no device detected3. using the jl_cmder - no device detected4. using apploader by itself - no device detected/ no way to get past the usb/com port screen as the 'next' button is greyed out5. using apploader through command /nojvm - no device detected/no way to get past the usb/com port screen6. quickly switching phones with my friend when her phone is recognised without a battery and a update is prompted, it sort of works by letting me choose the os but then says no device detected
