I have one more problem with 9900 (t-mobile).It strats up (loading status bar goes from left to the right), then it shows Desktop - and then in second or two display shuts down and shows black display only. no responding.I have tried wiping, different OS installed - problem is the same. Once it sturted and worked for a cuple minutes and then same problem - display turns to black.
View 2 Repliesive had this issue before and sent it away to be fixed came back and was fine for a couple of months and now the problem is back tried doing a battery pull and everything loads it seams. i have tried using the desktop manager and it successfully loads the updated opperating system but same problem persist. the screen is just black and the blacklight lights up but i dont even see the loading bar when i put the battery back in.

I have had the phone replaced 3 times, and the sim card replaced 3 times. I have had the account cancelled and recreated and still no satisfaction. It is worse when the call first starts, then it gets better sometimes and then continues echoing, and if the caller has a clear signal then my own voice starts echoing. I don't know what else to do - one technician thought it could be my data is corrupt?? I don't think that is the case.

It was working fine, until one day the screen started flickering, and then just went all black... now it still turns on, everything turns on, and yet the screen does not... it remains black for the longest time till whenever it decides to show up itself. Please help me fix this? I was told it may be a software problem, but I don't think so as I have updated it to the latest OS version and its still giving me trouble.

At first it didn't do this, however, it has been around 10 days since it started blanking out. It would take around 15 minutes or more before I can see the normal screen again. I'm not sure about the official name: it's the one appearing when you hit the top central bar of the main screen to visualise the incoming messages. Then, underneath, you get the next 3 appointments from your calendar.In fact I would like to get a "longer view" on my upcoming appointments than just 3 which seems to be a kind of default setting.Can we change this setting?

I need the "mute" and "loudspeaker" functions which are usually displayed on the screen during a call, So they are displayed on mine, but they are disfunctional and vanish when the display dims dark.Even if I put the blackberry on the desktop and keep 0.5m distance from it, it dims to dark screen within 2 seconds after pressing the "call" key, and even an immediate press on the "loudspeaker" icon in the left bottom corner of the touchscreen within these 2 seconds is ignored.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately my BB9900 past away. Black screen, Red light flashy and all the same symptoms in previous other posts. I have tried:
- Batt pull
- Chargin with Power cable and/or USB cable and pull the batt in / out
- Installing software
- Resetting with BBSAK and JL CMDer
All without any result. Only thing is: When I pull the battery and connect it with my PC, after 30s/60s I see a battery (with a red cross) in the screen. I have tried now to install the software trough "c:program filescommon files esearch in motionapploaderloader.exe" /nojvm but no luck. Is it possible to connect with other software? Where can we download software to Flash the Rom and are their any ROMS available? My guess is a software failure in the ROM.
I was texting a friend and suddenly the screen starts to fade black. I tried to turn it back on but it just stayed black. But when i want to put it on vibrate, it vibrates or when i want to charge it, it makes that sound effect when you plug it in. So it is still working but the screen isn't.

My 5 months old C7-00's black glossy panel around the display started fading. The color fading/colorless patches are becoming prominently visible nowadays. Can the panel be changed under warranty? I guess the fading is to be a manufacturing defect, as another extensively used 8 months old C7-00 of ours still look new. After using various Nokia phones for the past 11 years, for the first time I see a problem/defect in a Nokia phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Neo MT15i which was upgraded to the latest ICS patch through the OTA update. A few days late the phone suddenly appeared dead, and when i restarted (had to remove the battery), i get the phone start vibration but nothing appears on the screen.
I connected it to a PC and the PC companion was able to detect the phone, and i could even do the firmware upgrade. However the phone display refuses to switch on and none of the lights come on.
I then gave it to a local phone shop who said it was an issue with the phone and replaced the display and downgraded the firmware to 2.3.3. Again it worked for a few days and the same problem where the display shut down but i could get calls occured.
I tried many options given in the forum for xperia phones (press the power and volume up, remove battery and connect the charger, and then add the battery, etc) but no avail. now i get the start vibration from the phone, but nothing more.
4 months ago I bought nokia c6. But now the screen starts displaying some black lines, but the touch working properly. The touch is working good but the lines are displayed. But when I open the slider do not comes, but after closing the slider the lines starts in zigzag motion.
