BB Bold :: 9900 Shows 3G In Display But Setting Is 2G?

My Bold comes back from a repair,gets Software update, new Cam and new speaker.I put my backup back and found out that when I set the Network to 2G only, that the display shows permanent 3G.Is there somebody who have the same mistake and know's the solution?My battery is running out to fast cause the mobile is always at 3G which cost to much power.By the way, software is on latest version.BB Bold 99007.1 Paket 2061 (v 7.1.0.714 Platform 5.1.0.532)Branding Version 1.0.88.632ABlack Berry Bold9900 - DU UAE - 7.1 Paket2061(v7.1.0.714 Platform 5.1.0.532

So my new Bold 9900 has arrived with complications, it still doesn't connect to Outlook Contacts or Calendar and the wi-fi whilst displayed at the top of the screen does not allow emails in or out?

I have a new 9900, having been on a 9000 previously. The weekly calendar view in the 9000 showed the full day but in the 9900 it only shows 5 hours, so I need to scroll up and down to see spare slots in each day. I know there is an agenda view as well, but if I prefer the weekly view does anyone know if it is possible to show more hours? Changing font size for just the calendar view, maybe? Or another setting I haven't noticed?

I'm setting up a new 9900. I have a cryptic 63 character wifi passphrase that I would like to paste into the field, but there seems to be no way to do that. Is there a work around other than by manually typing it in?

my BB Bold 9900 (under new OS 7 of course) but I was wondering if there was a possibility to display more than 3 upcoming appointments when you are in the "calendar" pane or screen ... I'm not sure about the official name: it's the one appearing when you hit the top central bar of the main screen to visualise the incoming messages. Then, underneath, you get the next 3 appointments from your calendar.In fact I would like to get a "longer view" on my upcoming appointments than just 3 which seems to be a kind of default setting.Can we change this setting?

blackberry bold 9900: on any call, the display dims down within some seconds, all keys and the touch screen are disabled except the "end call" key. I need the "mute" and "loudspeaker" functions which are usually displayed on the screen during a call, So they are displayed on mine, but they are disfunctional and vanish when the display dims dark.Even if I put the blackberry on the desktop and keep 0.5m distance from it, it dims to dark screen within 2 seconds after pressing the "call" key, and even an immediate press on the "loudspeaker" icon in the left bottom corner of the touchscreen within these 2 seconds is ignored.

I have upgrade my bbm to a new version. But I have trouble here. My display picture can't update, so all my friends can't see my picture (just blank like no photos). I use blackberry bold 9900 with OS 7.1Blackberry Messenger Version 6.2.0.56Country IndonesianBBM also can't connect to BBM connect like facebook, etc. It must failed when step 2 verifying to bbm. P

I have one more problem with 9900 (t-mobile).It strats up (loading status bar goes from left to the right), then it shows Desktop - and then in second or two display shuts down and shows black display only. no responding.I have tried wiping, different OS installed - problem is the same. Once it sturted and worked for a cuple minutes and then same problem - display turns to black.

ive had this issue before and sent it away to be fixed came back and was fine for a couple of months and now the problem is back tried doing a battery pull and everything loads it seams. i have tried using the desktop manager and it successfully loads the updated opperating system but same problem persist. the screen is just black and the blacklight lights up but i dont even see the loading bar when i put the battery back in.

Just bought the m8 and trying to figure out why YouTube videos look "not hd", even when I search hd 1080p videos... Under the YouTube settings it only shows up to 720p. On all of my other phones the YouTube videos look a lot better. Is it the new YouTube app or my phone?

After setting for Mail for Exchange, my Nokia E7 phone shows low memory. I checked C Memory & there are only important files & that too of small sizes. All major Applications are installed in Mass Memory only. Is "Low Memory" issue due to Mail for Exchange? If so, is it possible to transfer / change the data of Mail Exchange to Mass Memory instead of Phone Memory?

on the first day i tested the camera, which worked just fine.But 3 or 4 days later, the camera suddenly stopped working. When i open any camera app, and i really mean any, the display shows me a blurry, wrong colored image, and when i press the button to take the picture, the shutter sound sounds, the display turns black, the app freezes and the picture is not saved.I have repaired the update several times, through PC Companion and Service Update.

I have an unlocked Storm 9530 from Verizon Wireless. My carrier is Rogers in Canada.Since i've had the phone, most numbers from those who call me come up unknown number. Even those who are in my address book/Simcard on my phone.It's really frustrating because i'm paying for call display and such on my plan. I've already tried reloading the OS on it and that didn't work.

I have a sony C510.. I downloaded few themes of the internet last week and now my phone shows random colours and suddenly the display becomes reverse inverted, etc.. I tried running update service but it works fine only for a while, random colours pop out again! i deleted files also.

So, for the first time since I got it, I tried setting some new wallpapers, see if maybe there's something that'd look nice. But then presented itself a problem: when I set a wallpaper, the upper and lower edges of the screen remained a blurry sort of thing, the same colour as the default background of the theme (in my case, it was the Golden Business). My question is whether this can be disabled? I searched, and I couldn't find.Also, writin' this on my Nokia E72 right now (yeah, advertising Nokia's product on their own site).

My Sony Ericsson Cybershot C510a was working fine for last 6/7 months.I upgraded to latest firmware 3 months back.& it was working fine. Recently I cant use the phone because: It's keypad. It acts interestingly:
Case 01: After making the phone ON, 40/50 seconds it remains OK, but when I push the down arrow in menu list or in phonebook, It keeps going down & down.
Case 02: when I click on call end button to close anything, it closes that but opens the phonbook.
Case 03: After few minutes, it's keypad freezes/hangs & display shows nothing. I cant bring back the display(Pls note: at that time, when I open the camera slider, display cames again). When a call comes, display comes but I cant receive the call.
I tried master rest, Memory card format, Update service successfully, but problem starts after few minutes.

I have a problem with my Nokia 1102. As soon as i insert the battery , Display shows strips or u can say vertical bars without switching it on. I reinserted the battery but the same problem. I thought that may be the problem of battery so i changed the battery but same problem continue and i am unable to switch it on.

My run workouts are being truncated, when I actually perform my run the display shows correctly but when I end my workout my information is truncated. Example went on a 7mile run everything displayed correctly but when I ended my workout the results show only 5.19 miles of my run.

To those who've tried the demo units in the Microsoft Store.Did you check if the Display settings that allow you to change the Color Profile (Temperature/Vividness) is still available with the new phones?I always personalize my display settings and it would be a bummer if it isn't in the new phones.

Verizon 32 GB Nexus 6, stock no root. 5.1.1. It won't autorotate. Display setting is set to autorotate and Accessibility setting is set to autorotate but it won't. Multiple on/off reboots with settings off and on. Cleared system cache. I downloaded Check My Android and it shows all sensors active and working normally. I downloaded Set Orientation and it won't change automatically. I can force it to landscape mode using the app but have to do it manually. The camera takes a picture in portrait and displays it either upside down or in landscape.

The location setting in smart actions doesn't seem to work when the display is off.I have set the phone to turn off bluetooth when I am at home or work. If the display is on, it works fine, but if the display is off, the smart action is not triggered. The smart action doesn't start or end if the display is off, it just stays in the mode it was in when the display was last on.I had a smart action that turned off a few things when the display is off, but I disabled that smart action and I still had the issue of the location based smart actions not triggering.

My Blackberry Bold 9900 is not turning on.Details: A battery pull has not fixed my problem.I tried using another 9900 battery, however it did not work.My battery does not work on other 9900 devices.There are no signs of moisture, nor has there been contact with water.The LED light doesn't show, nor does anything on the screen.

A volume setting is stored for playback through the iPhone's speaker, and another for when earphones are plugged in.
I have noticed since updating to iOS 5.1 that the volume slider in the Music app sometimes displays the "speaker" level during "earphone" playback when switching between the two modes.
Although the slider displays the incorrect volume level, the playback is at the earphone setting's volume, not the displayed volume.
N.B. I have an iPhone 3GS, and the performance of the Music app has degraded with each iOS update; this seems to be due to the core software growing more complex. It is possible that there is just a very long delay between loading the Music app, it recognising the earphones are plugged in, and the volume slider widget being updated accordingly. I will report back with more clarification after more observation.
