Asha 30/40 Series :: Nokia 1102 Display Shows Strips (bars)
Jul 11, 2012
I have a problem with my Nokia 1102. As soon as i insert the battery , Display shows strips or u can say vertical bars without switching it on. I reinserted the battery but the same problem. I thought that may be the problem of battery so i changed the battery but same problem continue and i am unable to switch it on.
After having problem with software I had it reinstalled from Nokia Care. After that once in a while the phone shows "Sim Inserted" once in every 5 mins. I tried to reinstall the software using Nokia suite, but when about to reinstall or update, the nokia suite hangs up and quits. And now the phone shows 'Sim Rejected". I put the sim in other phone and there is nothing wrong with it.....
Today I have tried 4 times to download a Smugmug picture site (from a link in a email) on my Nokia 6700. When the download progress bar reaches 1.4 Mb the display and keypad goes off. Then a white background with a date appears in the display which then changes to the home screen.
So, I was talking on my nokia 5250 and suddenly it turned off, it was charging, but now it just doesnt turn on at all. Plugged in it only shows the phone charging, but pressing the powerbutton still doesnt turn it on.
update the following things in S40 DP1.01- Option in messaging for "MY FOLDER" and option to delet msgs by marking.2- Option in music player to create playlist and adding songs in it like S40 5th edition series.3- Auto backup of created playlist while we change Memory card.4- Creation of a playlist of entire songs of a folder while we play songs from a folder like S40 5th Ed.In S40 DP1.0 plays that single song which we select to play. nokia add the above things and update in coming update version.
Every time I try to access the radio feature, the display jumps to "radio off." The music player works fine, and the headset works with phone calls. I've removed the battery, the keys don't seem to be sticking
My iphone 4s was working fine then stopped making calls. It shows 02 as carrier but no signal bars. I swapped out the sim and tried it in my husbands spare iphone 4s and it works fine. I have done a reset 3 times now.
there used to be a nokia which had a special feature where you could have entered a message and afterwards you had to shake the phone and some (i think red) leds wer displaying the message in the "air".
When i purchase Nokia X2-00 then it work properly. when any message/sms come in mobile then it show the name of sender on screen but after 2 month it stop showing the name of sender and only show that 1 new message .
I bought my asha 302 few days back and I am having issue in it, as it some times restarts again on its own. I don't know why? Is there software issue as there is no firmware update available for it yet by Nokia.
I am using the asha 302 since past 2 months, have been facing issues with the battery life. It doesn't even last a day. My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. Never heard or had an experience with NOKIA handsets using up so much of battery.
know if the Asha 302 auto keylock feature have the option to ask for a security code to unlock?( I am considering the Asha 302 to replace the C3-00 which does not have this option. My old ( low cost) 1616 has this security feature.)
I purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.
My wife has just bought a Nokia 100 as her 5300 has gone faulty. She has a few custom ringtones she wants to keep.Is it possible to add custom ringtones and if so, how? We have not received the phone yet, but I wanted to be ready when it arrives
I discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.
