So my new Bold 9900 has arrived with complications, it still doesn't connect to Outlook Contacts or Calendar and the wi-fi whilst displayed at the top of the screen does not allow emails in or out?

Bold 9900 shows an error 507, downloaded Blackberry Desktop Software. Shows ID of cell phone but says it cannot connect, update Desktop Software, I have the latest version, How do I reload OS 7.0?

Is wireless N only for a bigger range to be connected on?It doesnt have anything to do with speed or anything does it? View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless bluetooth enabled speaker. I have paired it with my Blackberry Bold 9930. I play music (Pandora) on the blackberry and it plays thru the speaker. When the music changes songs it stops playing on the wireless speaker and starts playing thru the BB speaker. I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth on the BB to make the music play thru the wireless speaker again. The same thing happens when I get a phone call and music is playing thru the wireless speaker..The speaker instructions say to use A2DP for audio streaming between devices. how to keep the music streaming to speaker?

The weekly calendar view in the 9000 showed the full day but in the 9900 it only shows 5 hours, so I need to scroll up and down to see spare slots in each day. I know there is an agenda view as well, but if I prefer the weekly view does anyone know if it is possible to show more hours? Changing font size for just the calendar view, maybe? Or another setting I haven't noticed?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have just got the new Bold 9900 and paired/connected it to my bluetooth in the car. i've had multiple blackberry phones and never had an issue. now i find that when i start the car and the device is found, the car (not the phone) starts a call to a number.
the log on the RIM site said it was a known issue and had been escalated internally.
Last week, this was working well using the same WLAN but now experiencing a connection that is not stable.I just purchased this last week.

After starting to use the blackberry, I cannot access internet on my blackberry. I have configured the correct access point of my ISP, but still I get a reply of "Browsing over the mobile internet is not included as part of your current service plan. To browse the web, you must use Wi-Fi or contact your service provider to change your service plan".When I remove the SIM card fro the black berry and use it in another device, I can access internet.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
i have a data plan and i'm able to browse to just about any website and use it. but watching a video on Internet doesn't work.i can go to Internet, see the video thumbnails, but when i wanna play one i always get this message "wireless network connection has been disconnected. please try again."
note that watching Internet videos works fine when i am on my home wifi router. the problem is when i am out using the 3g.btw my apn settings are correct: telus.bb.com.the odd thing is that it worked a couple weeks ago. so what's the deal?
My phone has just started acting weird. Whenever I turn it on the screen just gradually gets white, nothing shows up. There's no water damage and I have never dropped it. I've tried pulling the battery and nothing has worked so far.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmonths ago my new BB 9780 showed a white screen up when i ended a phone call. my device working properly right now without any problem even it goes to lock mode and when i press the lock button it's goes on again. the main problem is that sceen is just white white and white. i have tried to disassemble the device for 2 times and screen works great for minustes each time i assembled it back, but the problem begins in a while and screen goes white again.
enclosed that there is no one who knows about fixing BB in my country! and as you see from my bad english i'm not living in a blackberry-supported country

It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having the same issue as covered in lots of threads before. when i try to turn my phone on (pluged in to the wall charger) it just shows the red led for about 10 seconds and switched to white screen with battery thunder bolt symbol in the middle for abotu 10 seconds and then it repeats over and over again. but my phone does something ive never seen talked abotu on here.
When my red led is on the phone is making this weird noise. kinda sounds like fan comin from the phone. and itll only make the noise on the second time around. any suggestion on the noise and what i can do???? i have gotten a new battery, tried the battery pull, and ive waited 2 days and tried again no luck.

My Chrome book has 5 bars, my Kindle Fire has 5 bars, but the S6 has 2 bars. I can start a download on the S6 and the Kindle Fire at the same time and the Kindle Fire downloads much faster.

A few days ago, i noticed that my screen started flickering whenever i used the trackpad to scroll through icons on the home screen.Later, I realised that it would suddenly go dim, i.e. the screen would still show the icons but so dim that the screen looks completely dark., at random intevals.Whenever I pressed the screen lock button at the top to blank it and then press it again to reactivate it, it would reactivate but again at a very dim setting.

It was working fine, until one day the screen started flickering, and then just went all black... now it still turns on, everything turns on, and yet the screen does not... it remains black for the longest time till whenever it decides to show up itself. Please help me fix this? I was told it may be a software problem, but I don't think so as I have updated it to the latest OS version and its still giving me trouble.
