To those who've tried the demo units in the Microsoft Store.Did you check if the Display settings that allow you to change the Color Profile (Temperature/Vividness) is still available with the new phones?I always personalize my display settings and it would be a bummer if it isn't in the new phones.

I recently got a Lumia 1020 and I am very disappointed with how off the colours on the display are. Pictures often look very yellow on the screen, though the same pictures look more accurate when viewed on other devices. It seems to me that a phone focused on taking pictures should have a screen that has more accurate colours.

But then presented itself a problem: when I set a wallpaper, the upper and lower edges of the screen remained a blurry sort of thing, the same colour as the default background of the theme (in my case, it was the Golden Business). View 3 Replies View RelatedVerizon 32 GB Nexus 6, stock no root. 5.1.1. It won't autorotate. Display setting is set to autorotate and Accessibility setting is set to autorotate but it won't. Multiple on/off reboots with settings off and on. Cleared system cache. I downloaded Check My Android and it shows all sensors active and working normally. I downloaded Set Orientation and it won't change automatically. I can force it to landscape mode using the app but have to do it manually. The camera takes a picture in portrait and displays it either upside down or in landscape.

On my 1520, at times the calendar and messaging app keypad will go to a light color and becomes blurry. Sometime it comes and goes. Sometimes I have to reset it. Sometimes I have to reset it multiple times to make it go away.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe location setting in smart actions doesn't seem to work when the display is off.I have set the phone to turn off bluetooth when I am at home or work. If the display is on, it works fine, but if the display is off, the smart action is not triggered. The smart action doesn't start or end if the display is off, it just stays in the mode it was in when the display was last on.I had a smart action that turned off a few things when the display is off, but I disabled that smart action and I still had the issue of the location based smart actions not triggering.
