My phone screen is "scrambled" like an anologue tv channel that hasn't been tuned properly - kinda like colour snow. The phone works and appears to responds to button presses as the "snow" moves and changes colour with each button press.

View 3 Replies View Relatedrecently started to get this on my N5, won't turn 'on' just displays a scrambled screen for a short time, won't start up at all. Weirdly gets somewhere to allow the notification light to show, but can't call the phone.
Tried the holding vol up / down for periods of time. Any other way to factory reset in the hope its not a screen issue?
Is there any way to connect my sk17i to tv or monitor?
View 2 Replies View RelatedDroid RAZR - bought in November from Verizon store. Screen protectors and case are used; phone has experienced no trauma. While in Gmail today, the screen pixellated, became unresponsive, and now is inoperable. The screen appears as a mostly uniform field of slowly shifting color (pink, green) with a perhaps .75 inch bar of white on the bottom; see attached picture (it was hard to get a good shot because of the lighting). The phone still "works" internally - if you call it, it rings; the screen sleeps after an appropriate time and you can push the power button to bring it back; I hear the chime of emails and texts coming in. However, none of the menu/home/back buttons work, and touching the screen apparently does nothing. When I push the power button to "wake" the phone, the previously described white bar appears instantly, and the fuzzy colored remainder of the screen "develops" over about ten seconds.
I forced a reboot via the power button/volume trick, and heard the reboot process - but the same screen issue stayed throughout the reboot.I am at about 15% power; perhaps a complete shutdown forced by loss of battery power will eventually help. Plugging it in to a charger did not help.
I was charging the phone over night then randomly I saw screen turn on then off .. on then off.. so I wen and grab it .. and saw that was turning on of with a snow screen .. and with the blue light as well ?

Pictures often look very yellow on the screen, though the same pictures look more accurate when viewed on other devices. It seems to me that a phone focused on taking pictures should have a screen that has more accurate colours.

I'm having an issue with my Z5 Compact when unlocking the screen. (Specially in dark rooms). The colors are totally "washed" for a few seconds, until adaptive brightness starts to work.
Sometimes in a dark room (like the bedroom) there is a 50% chance or more of this to happen.
To reproduce this: You need to use "adaptive brightness" under settings. And you need to unlock your phone a few times. I'd recommend you to do this using Tapatalk (Dark theme).
Anyway, I'm posting this because I've received an update yesterday from 32.0.A.4.11 to 32.0.A.5.32 and the issue is still here. Should I replace my device? Or just wait for another firmware?
My xperia x10 mini's display is going off, after draining battery & charging, display will come for 2-3 min, then again goes off.

I changed the time out setting few time, but still is the same. View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.

I am facing a serious issue with my sony xperia neo v. Seldoms mobile screen does not respond when trying to unlock. The screen soes not change from blank sreen. Please suggest a better resolution for this issue. I face this issue four to five times in a day and it is very frustrating. Does Sony provide a replacement as my mobile is still in warranty period?
