Xperia Mini/pro :: Cannot Unlock Display When Call Received While In Pocket

When my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.

i have a xperia mini pro. I want to know how can i lock the screen when the call is recieved on my handsfree. Its really annoying that every time my cell rings i have to pick it up from my pocket even if i have connected my hands-free to it, else i either drop the call or am put on mute since the on screen button get activated.

I use tap to wake feature. I keep my phone in pocket and when I take it out the display is on. My guess would be that phone is not able to detect that it's inside pocket and tap to wake feature powers the display on.

After the 5.1.1 update u changed something in the dialer so when you press any number or contact it call immediately. Have the option to remove it plz bcz sometimes when the phon is in my pocket it Calls people randomly.

Since I've had the phone from last Wednesday, the MXPE has woken up over a dozen times in my front pocket. I've ****/pocket dialed at least 4 people because of it. And I'm sure my battery life is suffering because every time I take it out of my front pocket, the phone is awake. In my car with the radio on, my phone has come to life several times because it believes it has heard the launch phrase, even though my phrase is pretty obscure. I know the simple solution is to turn off Moto Display/Active Voice, etc.. but I actually like the features.

My mini pro refuses to make a sound (it simply vibrates) whenever a text message comes in, even though it's not on silent and I've got the volume turned up all the way.I was curious as to if this has something to do with a padlock icon that has appeared in the right hand corner of the main display, next to the reception bars. I have no idea how it got there or what it does, and I can't find any info about it

About a month ago whenever I made or received a phone call the person on the other end couldn't hear me. I could hear them fine my end! I tried swapping across to loud speaker but it still didn't work! I sent it off for repair and had the part of the phone with the microphone speaker replaced. Its come back and still does it! My brother said it was possibly the latest update as it was roughly around then that it went but I'm not sure!

I am facing a serious issue with my sony xperia neo v. Seldoms mobile screen does not respond when trying to unlock. The screen soes not change from blank sreen. Please suggest a better resolution for this issue. I face this issue four to five times in a day and it is very frustrating. Does Sony provide a replacement as my mobile is still in warranty period?

I'm hoping someone here can help me! When I receive a text from one particular contact in my phone book, the number displayed is a combination of 4 different numbers, all of which belong to different contacts in my phone book. When I reply the text is sent to the first number of the four which is not the contact who sent me the text! None of these four contacts are connected, nor are they adjacent in my contacts list! I tried deleting the contact affected and then adding back in but this did not fix it. My 6800 is flashed to pocket i was having a problem with the caller id not working so pocket told me to bring it in to one of their stores i went in with the no caller id problem and left with now i cant call out says to call pocket to add this feature.

my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?

When someone calls me and the phone in my pocket it mutes while I'm walking. I opened the setting and disabled (Quiet ring on pickup , Pocket mode , Auto answer calls) and i found something on setting called (Flip to mute) , i want to disable it too but i can't ! , it's options are (Mute once , Always Mute)...

About 3 times a day it unlocks and calls somebody up. Well it's not a software fault, it's just because I hit a button and the inside of my pocket just touches the screen and it unlocks. I saw on the xperia you have to slide your finger to unlock it, that would do the trick.

It seems as if I press the screen, it touches some of the keys at the qwerty keyboard. This wakes the phone from key lock and starts the emergency call screen.This is becoming quite a problem as I can't have the phone in my pocket for more then a few minutes before I hear the dialing sound (the sound when pressing a 0-9 key)I'm hoping there's a way to turn off this function (emergency dialing), especially when keys are locked.Does anyone have the same issue? Perhaps some update or android programming can help me?

I'm just got an Xperia X10 mini pro, and I have a probably dumb question on how to use it: I can't seem to dial anything once I'm in a call
If I am calling a customer service line, or my voicemail, I need to enter keypad entries. However once the call begins there is nothing I can do to be able to press anything, unless I pop the keyboard out and back in again. I understand there is a proximity sensor but head isn't that big. Am I doing something wrong? I just updated the OS to the latest version of Android 2.1

I've gotten a SonyEricsson Xperia cellphone recently, it is working very well, only issue is it's display become on and off repeatedly,when it's sitting some where in sleep mode (blank light), starts to make the display on and off, whithout any reason. I changed the time out setting few time, but still is the same. Sometimes I think about effects of other cellphones around mine, but I'm nut sure, even if they are effecting I can not change the situation.
