I use tap to wake feature. I keep my phone in pocket and when I take it out the display is on. My guess would be that phone is not able to detect that it's inside pocket and tap to wake feature powers the display on.
View 6 RepliesWhen my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I've had the phone from last Wednesday, the MXPE has woken up over a dozen times in my front pocket. I've ****/pocket dialed at least 4 people because of it. And I'm sure my battery life is suffering because every time I take it out of my front pocket, the phone is awake. In my car with the radio on, my phone has come to life several times because it believes it has heard the launch phrase, even though my phrase is pretty obscure. I know the simple solution is to turn off Moto Display/Active Voice, etc.. but I actually like the features.

First I thought its my oversight seeing the battery level but today again as I was typing a msg, the phone gave me warning battery level 1% and just got off. When I connected it to charnger and turned it on the battery level was indicating 28% power left. Can it be because of any application? I am using Juice defender as well.

The issue is that I have my phone in my pocket and I am walking in the street.
When I need to use my phone, I just noticed that it has factory reset itself.
when This happen, I am not able to make any call till I connect to a Wifi Network to perform some configuration.
After the 5.1.1 update u changed something in the dialer so when you press any number or contact it call immediately. Have the option to remove it plz bcz sometimes when the phon is in my pocket it Calls people randomly.

When I delete this from the status bar, it appears again in seconds, even when I'm on wifi or 3g, and using facebook. So it' driving me crazy, can't make it go away,In the settings menu, at sync settings, my emails and the facebook are synchronised, but facebook inside xperia is not, and there is a green circle next to the others, but this one has red circle and saying there were problems with the sync, it's gonna continue later.is it just because the facebook inside xperia app is not updated yet?

View 3 Replies View Relatedafter the over the air update for my Neo V (done on WiFi), I've been experiencing severe battery drains when Facebook Inside Xperia is turned on to sync photos, calendar and contacts (facebook_calendar_sync). The battery drains out in under 5hrs - I usually charge my phone in the eveings and take it off the plug just as I go to bed and the battery's drained and the phone shut off within 5hrs (5:30hrs max). This happens irrespective of how the data sync occurs - WiFi, 3G, 2G... I've noted that it's the calendar and contacts sync that drain rather than album sync.
View 1 Replies View Related2 days ago my phone randomly looses signal, (I'm in the middle of London in location at which I would normally get at least 4 bars 'H' signal), I wait for 10 minutes still nothing so I try and turn it off, the phone freezes/gets stuck with the 'phone shutting down' message on display.At this point I decide to just take the battery out and put it back in, after doing so the phone will not turn on what so ever. When I get home that evening I try to charge it, nothing, no lights and still won't turn on.
Taking the battery out again, followed by the sim card and memory card I notice that the memory card has a crack in it, all the way across and just under the gold contacts. I think nothing of it as surely this couldn't have happened while it was in the phone and must have been there the whole time, so put everything back in and try again. Nothing. Inside 'manage application' in Xperia x10 there is a 'sound recorder'. Why it can't be used or is there way to activate it. I prefer to use built-in apps instead of using 3rd party apps. One more thing, is there way to make x10 sound louder without rooting it? (there is xLoud for rooted x10)

Having recently upgraded to the latest fw version I have found in about 5 instances that during the past 2 weeks my phone has powered itself off.This is probably a new bug! At least I didn't find any previous references to such a behavour on this board.In my case the battery was well charged. Today I had just taken it off the charger, read my e-mail and browsed the webb with Opera for the morning news. Then I put it in my pocket only to find it powered off an hour later.

I clicked Restart now and after over 8 hours my phone will not turn on. I have tried taking the battery out and left it out for over 5 minutes, put it back in and nothing.
