i have noticed when i take my x10 out of my pocket(locked) it has opened some of the apps installed on it eg the browser,ebay link it even rang my daughter.Being as you know you have to press the button then swipe the screen how is this happening?i do not want to change it but i can not have it doing this
View 3 RepliesI came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.

I followed the instructions to the letter, but a message shows up at the bottom of the screen - "Synch is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" It has been like this for weeks now. What can i do? I had to download Media Go, which in turn needed PC Companion, which in turn needed SP3, which in turn some sites said I could not get it, but i eventually managed to download it, but still no working phone. I do not understand. I just know that this is terribly frustrating. I am a quadriplegic who needs a phone 24/7 for safety reasons, and I wanted a phone I could use easily for reading, music, apps store etc as I have very little use of my arms.

For weeks I haven't had a single option, and all of a sudden multiple times in 2 days I have this issue:While my phone is in my pocket, I pull it out, and unlock the screen. The screen is hard, but not unclickable. So when I click on messages or anything else it opens it and closes it, because it double clicks. Usually the bottom keys click but don't function. I have to lock the screen and turn it back on after a few seconds or a minute later for it to function. The double clicking and it closes the app is really annoying. It only happens when it's in my pants.
I think what happens is that since the screen is TOWARDS my leg, and my leg may hit the bottom buttons, it presses it or something like that. And after a few times of that happening unexpectedly the screen does something. I don't know. Any ideas? Could this be an OS issue? I doubt it's a hardware since it ONLY happens with my jeans and in my pocket.
After updating my phone to android 2.1,I'm unable to access my gmail and other apps thru. wifi. I have the wifi symbol at the top which clearly shows that the wifi is connected,but when I try to access gmail,android market and other apps.,it gives me message stating "no network connection".

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.

Problem: Default browser works but any other apps like opera mini, facebook chat, ovi store etc doesn't works, it says network problem ( can't connect).

I am getting my new phone tomorrow and im tired of using my laptop to sync, and would rather use my desktop. I do not want my music, just my apps - but i cant figure out how to view my apps on my desktop! I have never used it before for syncing or anything and i plugged in my phone and i wasnt able to see my purchased apps or anything. Personally i hate itunes because i can never figure out where **** is!
Also, i just updated my current phone yesterday to iOS4 and my phone is back to normal. There are no apps or music currently on it. The only thing i still have is my contacts - which is all i wanted to keep on my phone. I dont have to sync my phone and put all the apps on my phone from my laptop, then sync again with my desktop, do i? that would be horrible on Apple's part..
I recently upgraded my s3 to a s6. But now im struggling to find the menu buttons in-app.. like on my s-planner app.. i want to update my calender on it but i cant find the menu on it. Normally i pressed my left touch button to open it but now it opens a multi-window.
Ive been googling for an answer but i couldnt find a solution for it. Ive read that there should be some sort of a little 3-dot button to access the menu but i only see that in half of my apps.

I continue to be unable to access App World on my ATT 9700. I get the TCP receive time out message or simply the loading bar. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
