About 3 times a day it unlocks and calls somebody up. Well it's not a software fault, it's just because I hit a button and the inside of my pocket just touches the screen and it unlocks. I saw on the xperia you have to slide your finger to unlock it, that would do the trick.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSony Ericsson Zylo or W200i(I have no idea which one is it), is one phone which I worpship a lot! It have crystal sounds, great mp3 player, videos are so cool as well and the camera not to mention is awesome as well. One day I was at my grandma to help her with some stuff, and while listening to radio I was wandering, why zylo can be radio and have radio antennas, but not being mini TV and not have some sort of antena for television? I searched a lot on google to find out for any sort of telephone having TV with antenna or something, and I came out with this thing called "TV Tuner".
I searched a lot about Zylo if can have it or if I need to buy it and implement it like the recharging thing but still no clue. Then I searched only if any sony ericsson have at all this TV Tuner thing and I found only those "X10i" and "SO903i". So the big question is, why Zylo can have such clear videos(I convert movies or videos to small format and send them to memory card), but no TV at all? Is there a way to implement it or to make a tuner for people like me, which need to watch the sport, news and such after having a break from driving a car or bike on long distance. I hope such thing can be made and sold, this will be awsome to buy and have!

Required Items
1) Sony Ericsson Phone with CID up to 53
2) DCU-60 Cable or DCU-65
3) Internet Connection
4) Charge your battery!
How to do:
I Take No responsibility if anything goes wrong
1) Google up Omnius Server
2) Download the application (will link to rapidshare)
3) Extract the application with winzip or a similar program
4) On the website click "Register for application" on the left hand side
5) Go to your email check your junk mail as well (MUST validate your username & password)
6) Load up the application
7) Click on "Settings" then pick "Server Settings"
8) Put in your username and password you made earlier with "Register for application"
9) Now choose your Phone model on the top left hand corner "Tested on my rogers C905a it works 100%"
10) Click on "Unlock" and choose "Unlock Network lock by reset"
11) Turn off your phone, take out battery
12) Press and hold 2 & 5
13) Wait and wait and more waiting patiently
14) Turn your phone back on
15) Press > * < < * < *
15) Press right, star, left, left, star, left, star
16) Go to Service info pick "SIM lock" and now it should be all unlocked.
It's still good and I cannot use it now I have moved to New Zealand from the UK, because it is locked to Orange - who can afford Orange roaming NZ to UK! I cannot afford a new phone either, anyway I like this one. I have heard all about unlocking procedures and they sound a bit scary. What do I do?

When someone calls me and the phone in my pocket it mutes while I'm walking. I opened the setting and disabled (Quiet ring on pickup , Pocket mode , Auto answer calls) and i found something on setting called (Flip to mute) , i want to disable it too but i can't ! , it's options are (Mute once , Always Mute)...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI use the phone and take a call as normal. Next day someone rings me, they can NOT hear me but I can hear them. I then discover the microphone is only live when in loud speaker mode, it is not a faulty mic as I can speak using it on speakerphone and make recordings.
I have done factory reset, had it to a repair guy who reinstalled all the software and replaced the 'ribbon cable' but the problem remains. Is there a secret 'mute' button that I have missed, is this a button/switch fault, we are totally perplexed.
I tried finding one before posting this new thread but it was of no use.

Most phones allow you silence the ringer so the incoming call continues and you can still choose to answer it or leave it to go to through to the answer phone. Is that possible on this phone? First of all, I can't hear a call from the handset itself, I have to speak from the speaker. Which is very inconvenient. The Service centre was not very helpful. He said check up from so and so date to check when the spares come in.i have to wait till the store opens and then call up and check when my phone can be repaired. Second problem that cropped up today is that my menu button does not work when the slide is open. My software is up-to-date as I updates it two days ago. Also I find the battery life very weak, isn't this supposed to be a walkman phone? I am outraged to find such problems with an SE phone so early into use. This has never been manhandled, why the problem then?
