My screen doesn't light up when there is an incomming call.When the caller hangs up, however, the screen lights up with the 'missed call' message. I have reset the phone several times both on from the fones menu and the website.

When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

I got stuck here, nothing happens after this.
A friend got a SE F305 2yrs ago and of late he is having some troubles with it. The camera wasn't working properly a few months ago,so decided to service it but the technician told to replace it.But after a few days it started working fine again. Since last week when he receives a call he is not able to hear until he switches to loudspeaker. Today the screen has gone "WHITE" and not able to see anything. How to solve this? Will a software upgrade fix the problem??Can u suggest a suitable upgrade or a flash for it?

But the problem is that the keypad backlight is VERY dim (almost off) all the time with it. I tried to modify it a bit and used the value 0008. I used phone and noticed the battery indicator showing 1 red bar the phone bleeped low battery and turned off. I've done all normal trouble shooting tips still the same. I've bought original Sony Ericsson charger and battery that hasn't worked either.

Could somebody please mod the c901 display driver so that the light sensor is disabled and display brightness can truly be adjusted manually? I know there is a patching alternative,but a modded display driver would be much more convenient.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI use the phone and take a call as normal. Next day someone rings me, they can NOT hear me but I can hear them. I then discover the microphone is only live when in loud speaker mode, it is not a faulty mic as I can speak using it on speakerphone and make recordings.
I have done factory reset, had it to a repair guy who reinstalled all the software and replaced the 'ribbon cable' but the problem remains. Is there a secret 'mute' button that I have missed, is this a button/switch fault, we are totally perplexed.
I tried finding one before posting this new thread but it was of no use.

Well it's not a software fault, it's just because I hit a button and the inside of my pocket just touches the screen and it unlocks. I saw on the xperia you have to slide your finger to unlock it, that would do the trick.
