Jan 30, 2011Widgets dont display in my x10 mini homescreen since the last 3 hours. Other than that icons,live wallpapers are working. Whats the problem due to?

Jun 13, 2012I've have some unresolvable issue with two Sony widgets: "picture frame" and "photos and videos". First one lost 2x2 size and can be applied 3x3 only. Still there are "picture frame" two widgets are running since 2.3.4 android in 2x2 size. I can remove them but won't add anymore in needed size. Same with "photos and videos". I've got 2x2 one after upgrading to ICS. Wasn't up to rearange my desktops and faced that removing 2x2 was a big mistake. There is 3x3 only can be placed. "Clear date" didn't help. I'm pretty sure that both widgets can be placed in smaller 2x2 size. But OS doesn't offer that chois anymore.

Nov 18, 2011I put the Motorola toggle widgets on my home screen (e.g. toggle data, wifi, bluetooth, GPS). I rebooted and they disappeared. I tried to re-add them. I can't. I can add toggle widgets from the Android Market. I can't re-add the Motorola widgets, but also, the space where they should be is not available to add another widget either. i.e. I've now got a dead/unusable space on my home screen.

Aug 2, 2010I have had 2.1 for a few weeks, and must say I didnt think I was missing anything having 1.6. But its like having a new phone now I have 2.1 I love it.
But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidently go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realising it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disapeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?

Jan 29, 2012I take new photos on my blackberry 9900 they wont open or display... so the photo shows for the few seconds after i have taken it, then i can send it to someone if i want to within about 5 min of taking it - then if i try to access it later the photo doesnt open and i just get the picture icon instead? The first 30 odd photos I took in the begining are still there but all my newest ones dont open, I have tried downloading them to my computer but then it says :file format not supported on all the defective photos? And i tried restarting, taking out the battery, taking out the memory card??

Jun 2, 2010So I have all my messages grouped together (sms and email accounts), and I am using BIS through ATT. I am on software version 5.0.0.405 (Platform 5.1.0.112). The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.

Oct 17, 2015Lately I've been noticing that the displayed time on my home screen widget is inaccurate. A simple tap on the widget seems to rectify things but it's weird. I'm using Transparent Weather Clock but I also noticed the same thing using the 3D Flip Clock widget.
Interestingly, my wife is using the Note 2 and she's having the same problem.
As this is happening with multiple widgets on multiple phones I feel safe in assuming that it's not related to the devices themselves or the widgets per se.

Jan 30, 2012I've gotten a SonyEricsson Xperia cellphone recently, it is working very well, only issue is it's display become on and off repeatedly,when it's sitting some where in sleep mode (blank light), starts to make the display on and off, whithout any reason. I changed the time out setting few time, but still is the same. Sometimes I think about effects of other cellphones around mine, but I'm nut sure, even if they are effecting I can not change the situation.

Aug 31, 2011When my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.

Today i try to update my phone apps and try to download new apps on Android market over the HSDPA connection (3G). If i click Update All or single app update button or new apps Download buttons nothing happen only display "Downloading" progress bar, then i wait more than 30 minutes so not download and update. So i clear caches and data on Android market apps, download agent and restart phone and again try. But still i face this issue. So how do i fix it?I already disable automatic restore feature in Android phone privacy setting. As a result of this issue i can't update and download new apps.

Jan 15, 2010After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.

Jun 1, 2012I found another error in ICS update.Sometimes, when I start my phone, some widgets won't load. May be, it's because of SDCARD storage was used. All of them are stored on SDCARD, but in Android 2.3.4 (GB) there was no error, no problem.
