BB (RIM) :: Messages - Emails And SMS - Dont Display - Delete Correctly
Jun 2, 2010
So I have all my messages grouped together (sms and email accounts), and I am using BIS through ATT. I am on software version 18.104.22.1685 (Platform 22.214.171.124). The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.
I recently upgraded from the D1 to the D4 and have my Hotmail account set up via Corporate Sync. Incoming messages sync correctly but messages I delete on the phone do not delete from the server. On the D1 the two-way sync worked correctly for emails deleted on the phone but I can't seem to get it to work on the D4.My settings for the corporate sync account are:Username: full @hotmail email addressPassword: passwordServer: m.hotmail.comUse secure connection: yesProxy: blankAnyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?
When someone sends an email with "stationary" or background graphics, the email chops off and just displays about 1/4 of the message. This is horizontally, not vertically. The emails display normally on the Mac.
My X1-01 sw version 05.27 ,26-05-11,RM -713, Language: MG
The problem is that it does not display Cell Info display correctly. Only few times it shows, But only for sometime. Is this bug fixed in the latest version 5.44 ???? and it also has the signal problem .. If i put it in my pocket , the whole signal goes away in both sims....
I take new photos on my blackberry 9900 they wont open or display... so the photo shows for the few seconds after i have taken it, then i can send it to someone if i want to within about 5 min of taking it - then if i try to access it later the photo doesnt open and i just get the picture icon instead? The first 30 odd photos I took in the begining are still there but all my newest ones dont open, I have tried downloading them to my computer but then it says :file format not supported on all the defective photos? And i tried restarting, taking out the battery, taking out the memory card??
My run workouts are being truncated, when I actually perform my run the display shows correctly but when I end my workout my information is truncated. Example went on a 7mile run everything displayed correctly but when I ended my workout the results show only 5.19 miles of my run.
My name is Brian (with an i), and Siri knows this if I ask her what my name is. However if I am having her write an email or text message for me and I say something like "from Brian" she spells my name "Bryan." On rare occasion she will spell it correctly with an "i," which I can only surmise is due to some subtle difference in pronounciation.
Is there any way I can change her dictionary and only allow her to spell "Brian" and not "Bryan"? This isn't the only name she does this with; whenever I have her write "Colin" in a message she wants to put two L's in it instead of one.
how do you select all or select multiple files, emails, messages, etc to delete.also Syncing with my gmail account using google sync it is not syncing with calander, I have selected correct info in setting but no joy..
I'm using Windows XP SP2 PC suite version is 126.96.36.199, English I use both data cable and bluetooth. My phone models are Nokia 2330 and Nokia 2730. My problem is that when I open the Nokia Communication centre in PC suite (messages), I see the following issues in the messages. For example, if the total number of messages in inbox is 250, in the PC suite, it is listed as a number less than 250 (e.g 242 or so). On a closer look, I discovered that a few of the messages are "mixed up" with other messages. For example, let's take the two messages: "Hello, how are you? Hope you are fine?" "Where are you, and when will you be coming?" In PC suite, the two messages sometimes are merged together as one message in a jumbled manner like this "Hello, hoWhere are you, an w are you? Hope you are fine? d when will you be coming?"However, they will be visible as "normal" in the phone inbox when I check in the phone screen. This issue happens on PC suite in both Nokia 2330 and 2730 in both inbox and sent items. I uninstalled PC suite, cleaned out my system registry and reinstalled PC suite, but the same problem occurs.Any ideas on why this issue is happening?
I have an issue with sms from just two senders with android phones, Samsung phones. The messages they send appear in inbox and taskbar but when opening the conversation the messages do not display at all, very annoying. I have tried force stop, clear data and restart but messages just don't appear.
I have a BB Curve 9300 which I back up completely (i.e.. all data) on a regular basis using the BB Desktop Software for my Mac.
Today (11 Jan 2012) I went to restore only 'Text Message' data from a back up I did on 9th Nov 2011.
On completion of the restore, 12 Text Messages we're restored to my device, but the actual message content is blank. I.e.. the messages appear showing the 'Sender' and the 'Date', but the actual message content is missing. The icon for the messages is the same 'green bubble with a pen' that appears with draft messages.

I just received the Bold 9650 with 6 OS on it a few weeks ago. Although I am receiving text emails alright, the HTML emails aren't displaying correctly. It is just a bunch of jibberish displaying on the screen. After searching online for a solution, everyone just keeps saying to enable HTML under the messages option... but I'm not even finding the messages option choice? Under the Options menu, I have:
Sounds and Ring Tones Networks and Connections Display Typing and Input Device Call Management Security Accessibility Third Party Applications
how to get my HTML messages to display? I've tried taking the battery out and I've also tried "Get Images" and that doesn't do anything at all.
When you view your email through the preinstalled apps, either Hotmail or Google. When you viewed them and deleted them then return to your email on a PC/Desktop the emails you've deleted are still there?
When I delete an e-mail, nothing happens, I scroll do wn and the icon changes to an opened envelope and greys out but the top line states:(0 items)But it will not disappear. Also, when I create and try to send a message, I get nothing.I have a gmail account which has always worked perfectly but this has started happening in the last few weeks,I have a BB Curve 8520 running software v184.108.40.2061I have "338 messages" and counting....
Everything is superb however 1 thing is annoying me and i cant seem to sort it, ive had a look round the forum and cant see this elsewhere.
When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
when I select all inboxes on my iPhone the display shows blank emails that say "No Sender No Subject This message has no content" however if I go and select the inbox associated with the account the emails display fine.
I have Blackberry Torch 9810, I have configured my email accounts in my device, My emails does not displayed properly when I am rebooting my device it display properly but again after some days same porblem occurs.
I'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem
I am wanting to know is there a way to delete multiple email messages or normal messages for that matter at one time.If i receive like 20 emails, do I really need to delete each one individually? As it's major painful. Even my old dilapidated cell phone could delete mutiple messages at once.
I've recently done a factory reset & software reinstallation (which seems to have improved the erratic autorotate behaviour). However, my gmail emails no longer appear on the home screen (although they are syncing as I can access them in the Email app.).I've searched through various settings but can't get them to appear.
