when I select all inboxes on my iPhone the display shows blank emails that say "No Sender No Subject This message has no content" however if I go and select the inbox associated with the account the emails display fine.

I have my BB for work, so my "Messages" folder is for work emails. I set up the phone to also receive emails from my Yahoo addrerss. There is now a separate folder on the home screen for Yahoo emails. Perfect; just what I wanted! However, some of my Yahoo emails also show up in my Messages folder. How do I keep the 2 Inboxes separate?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530 with 5.0.xx installed. I just set up my IMAP Gmail account on my BB and have noticed a big problem when receiving messages. Basically I get SOME of my mail in my email folder and SOME of it in my MESSAGES folder - just to make this clear both folders receive different messages that should be routing to my email folder. I tried turning off receiving my emails in my MESSAGES folder - but then I'll get a flag stating there is an unread message in my EMAIL folder - but NOTHING'S THERE. So I then go back in to Messages>options>Email settings and click the box to have Messages receive my emails too and VOILA - there's the hidden email!
So to sum this up - I can't get all my emails unless I have Messages set to receive my email as well because it receives some and my email folder receives some when my email folder should be receiving ALL of them.
I found some help in the Blackberry Answers but it describes going into menus that I don't have to reroute the messages to my inbox. So what do I do? Is this common? Is something corrupt? I'd like just to receive ALL my emails in my EMAIL folder.
I have 3 email accounts set up. in 'Mail' the following is displyaed:

Inboxes
- All Inboxes
- email account 1
[code]....
But as soon as 'Mail' is opened it checks all the accounts. Apparently it doesn't work this way for everyone: it seems a little pointless to have separate inboxes and then ignore them and default to downloading them all every time anyway. The accounts are all sey to "manual" under "fetch new data".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently done a factory reset & software reinstallation (which seems to have improved the erratic autorotate behaviour).However, my gmail emails no longer appear on the home screen (although they are syncing as I can access them in the Email app.).I've searched through various settings but can't get them to appear.
My BB has suddenly decided to stop receiving my emails. I do receive them in my messages box, but when I click on the icon of my Gmail account it keeps saying 'no messages'. However, the red star signalling a new message does appear on the Gmail icon. I've gotten as far as to discover that if I select the folder for my inbox (under gmail icon), my emails do appear, but if I open the icon normally, it says 'all messages' as the folder, but doesn't display any emails. I've tried resetting my BB, I've tried re-installing my gmail account and I've checked my gmail settings, but nothing has worked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded my 9700 to OS 6 today. The new system looks great. In the email inbox, I found the shortcut ALT+F, which is supposed to display all my flagged emails, not working. Did a little google search and found that all the solutions available are for OS 5. Some of them mentioned setting criteria in the search option. However, in OS 6, I found the search option quite "clean". I couldn't find any way to set the search criteria and therefore there's no way for me to display all my flagged emails at one glance. This is quite annoying as the W shortcut for flagging emails works just fine but after that you can't find your flagged emails which makes the whole function meaningless.

So I have all my messages grouped together (sms and email accounts), and I am using BIS through ATT. I am on software version 5.0.0.405 (Platform 5.1.0.112). The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.

It also shows at the top how many emails are new, overall. I'm not so concerned about "at a glance" seeing how many, but it's a god-send seeing (without pressing anything) where the emails have gone: work private hotmail. I know on the iPhone you go into Mail, and there you see your list of accounts, or 'All Emails', but that means I have to click Mail to do that. Is there a way (if like me you are email-busy) to see from the homescreen, a square icon for each account, and it show some form of identification that it has new mail it in?

On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:

View 5 Replies View RelatedBeen using the N900 for a few weeks now, replacing one of my superb E90s. So far, sort of so good, the major differences in the user interface are causing a few issues, but I sort of expected that!Does anyone have any answers to the following please?
1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.

Is it possible to stilll recieve the emails but that all attachments are filtered and excluded from the pushed email into my BB? If I want to see the attachments I will goto a proper PC to see it by logging in that way. I want the BB to just let me know an email was sent, and what text/word content is in it, if any. I dont want to recieve the attachments to my blackberry.
Also, does the emails with attachments sent to blackberrys use the data, or are they not downloaded until you explicitly click to open attachments>
Is there a way of highlighing all or numbers of emails so blocks of emails can be deleted rather than one by one?
