When someone sends an email with "stationary" or background graphics, the email chops off and just displays about 1/4 of the message. This is horizontally, not vertically. The emails display normally on the Mac.
View 1 RepliesSo I have all my messages grouped together (sms and email accounts), and I am using BIS through ATT. I am on software version 5.0.0.405 (Platform 5.1.0.112). The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just activated my Motorola Triumph yesterday, and everything's been working wonderfully...except for the graphics/pictures on the internet browser. It will not display pictures or graphics, even when it shows that the page has "fully loaded." Graphics/pics work just fine through the Facebook app and other apps, just not the browser. I've only tried simple solutions, like restarting it, but I haven't been able to make it work.

The problem is that it does not display Cell Info display correctly. Only few times it shows, But only for sometime. Is this bug fixed in the latest version 5.44 ???? and it also has the signal problem .. If i put it in my pocket , the whole signal goes away in both sims....
When I open my emails I can't view any of the graphics and have to click on to the links to view on line. I didn't realize this should be until I was using someone else's BB! What do I have to enable in order to see the emails properly?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust earlier today my phone randomly rebooted (not all that uncommon unfortunately) but it ended up at a garbled screen as shown in the attached picture. A battery pull and reboot fixed the graphics glitch but I've also had one other graphics glitch when I was using my gps. The bottom 3/4 of an inch of the screen had a static image of the top portion of the screen. Other than "overlaying" that image it didn't affect the behavoir of the phone any, I could bring up the menu and select options in it but they were hidden behind the glitch. It did it again. This time it's just the bottom half of the screen and the phone "works" but is extremely laggy.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had my phone since last september and its only now that i am having problems with it. I was using it this morning working fine, till i locked the screen. When i tried to unloack it only the top half of the screen shows an image the other half barely visible and i have this wierd lines trying to scroll down the screen like its trying to load. I have not dropped my phone or knocked it or anything. I have taken very good care of it so i am suprised to be having this issue. I have tried taking the battery and putting it back it and i have also tried doing a hard reset. still no luck. I cant even setup the phone again since i cant use the bottom half of the screen. I tried rotating it hoping it would work but no luck. so the phone is practically useless to me right now.

However if I am having her write an email or text message for me and I say something like "from Brian" she spells my name "Bryan." On rare occasion she will spell it correctly with an "i," which I can only surmise is due to some subtle difference in pronounciation.
Is there any way I can change her dictionary and only allow her to spell "Brian" and not "Bryan"? This isn't the only name she does this with; whenever I have her write "Colin" in a message she wants to put two L's in it instead of one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed an issue with the Galaxy S5 that apparently only occurs with the Verizon variant. I work for a place called Wireless Advocates, we are the cell phone kiosk inside of Costco. I'm asking about this because I've had three customers come in to ask about this background data issue.
I'm not sure what triggers this issue but when I try opening up google play I get the "Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled" error. It then gives you the ability to either quit or enable the data. If you press enable it takes you to the account screen in settings.
When I go to Data usage the option to "restrict background data" is greyed out. You can't even select it and it isn't checkmarked either. Just to clarify, accessing the internet and other things on the phone work perfectly fine. It's just the use of Google Play that is having issues. I called Samsung customer care and they aren't aware of this issue at all. Also note that force stopping google play, play services, removing the google accounts and adding them back and rebooting the phone haven't solved it. After the reboot the phone will appear fine and then a box that says "Restricting background data".
I used one of my saved photos from the camera as my display picture however I deleted the picture file from my media. The background display is still the picture and I was wondering was it possible to recover that photo. Is the picture file still on the phone and being used to display the background or has it been deleted and cannot be retraced?

Since I've upgraded to iOS4, I've noticed that emails don't seem to be sending the way they used to. If I compose an email outside of the Mail app (for example, sending a link to a web page from Safari) the email never sends unless I manually go into the Mail app's outbox folder, open the message again and then hit send from there.Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this really the way sending mail supposed to work now?(I should note that I'm using Google's Gmail Exchange Sync system here, but I don't think that's the problem. I can send email from within the Mail app very quickly as long as I wait for the sending sound to play before exiting or switching apps.)UPDATE: same issue using an IMAP account/and sending via SMTP.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded my wife's phone to the S6 from Verizon Wireless. She had an S4 previously. Problem is with the stock android email app on this phone: On the S4 when she would save an email it would save it to the "Saved email" folder. She could then open the saved emails in that folder and it would have any attachment saved with the email. She could then open the attachment if she wished.
The S6 email app allows her to save an email, but the options menu says it will save the email as a FILE. When accessing these saved emails she discovered only the text of the email was saved. The attachments are not saved with the emails.
This is a completely ridiculous and stupid change by Samsung or Google, whichever is the one who is responsible for that app. I am surprised other users have not complained about this, I did not see anything about this on the 'net when searching.
My wife uses this phone for business and needs to access the attachments in the emails her clients send her. I understand she can save the attachments to the phone, but they go into a location in the "My Files" on the phone. It is a lot easier to access an email from a client, be able to read what they sent, and then open the attachment from within that email. If she has to save the emails and attachments separately there is nothing to link the two together and she would have to do what I think is many unnecessary steps to access both things.
Somehow email default application on s5 no longer can retrieve emails from Google server on my gmail account...

I have this phone under Verizon. quite awhile back during one of the updates not the last the one I did today or the last one but probably the one before it I'm assuming one of my email setups didn't directly download right causing it to screw up. It has nothing to do with resets on my phone I have tried numerous times resetting it and it doesn't work. Everytime I go into email setup, I go to Setup>Email Accounts>Internet Mail Account and then either it just freezes at the screen, or just goes back to the "Select the feature you want to set up screen" everytime. I have tried going into Service Books to try to send service books but it doesn't give me the option... I am unable to get into my Blackberry Internet Service account because I cannot remember my password - and I have done password restore or whatever and it said it has sent to my phone

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got my 950 two days ago and unfortunately running into an issue with setting up a couple of email accounts.
I have six email addresses I track on the phone. Five of them are all on the same server but are different inboxes while the sixth is the Hotmail account from Microsoft.
Unfortunately two of the accounts on my personal server are not setting up. The phone tells me that it is synced by nothing is showing. I even submitted a test email from the phone that did show up on my desktop Outlook but does not show up on my phone.
I did a hard reset of the phone and still the exact same issue. I'm stumped as the other emails work just fine but for some reason these two inboxes are causing problems. They worked on my 920 and they work on Outlook desktop version. So what is the trick to get this working?
