BB Torch :: 9800 Does Not Correctly Display Web Pages
May 3, 2011The normal display of the torch screen is shortened, The top of the page you are looking at is then repeated at the bottom section. Approximately 3/4 of one inch.

BB Torch :: 9800 - Picture And Video Not Saving Correctly
Jul 8, 2012I updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.

The problem is that it does not display Cell Info display correctly. Only few times it shows, But only for sometime. Is this bug fixed in the latest version 5.44 ???? and it also has the signal problem .. If i put it in my pocket , the whole signal goes away in both sims....

Sep 17, 2010My screen turns ON automatically when sitting on counter/table (not touched) every 10-30 seconds continuously. Even if I have the screen lock on or the phone completely locked, the home screen keeps popping up. When I attempt the screen lock alone, within a minute the screen turns on and unlocks automatically without touching the phone. It's killing the battery.

The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.

But when i use the browser and my network settings to connect, it is fine but only for a few days or a week. Now and again i get a problem where the browser wont display anyweb pages! All the settings are in correctly, and nothing gets adjusted, i even get the Hor 3G symbol to show me that i am actually infact connected to the internet, but a blank page just keeps coming up saying Try refreshing the browser or try again later.. This has happened to me twice now, and the only way of fixing theproblem is by reseting factory settings which is very annoying! ive tried deleting browsing history,and tried other websites to access too but nothing seems to work. Is this a fault, well i guess it must be but has anyone else had the same problem? wouldreally like to know as imreally thinking about selling this phone if it continues to play up..........

Aug 11, 2010I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.
