for the past few days when ever I send an email a red X appears by the email with an undefined error. The email sends correctly however. No changes were made that I am aware of.
View 1 RepliesI have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.
I have a Blackberry Curve through Verizon Wireless. Everytime I send an email from my phone using my registered Yahoo account, it sits in my "messages" section, but never sends the email. I have tried a hard reboot, and I have made sure the phone is registered with the network, but I am getting NO WHERE.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOkay, I have been unable to get mail on my Blackberry Curve 9330 for some time. I have this phone under Verizon. quite awhile back during one of the updates not the last the one I did today or the last one but probably the one before it I'm assuming one of my email setups didn't directly download right causing it to screw up. It has nothing to do with resets on my phone I have tried numerous times resetting it and it doesn't work. Everytime I go into email setup, I go to Setup>Email Accounts>Internet Mail Account and then either it just freezes at the screen, or just goes back to the "Select the feature you want to set up screen" everytime. I have tried going into Service Books to try to send service books but it doesn't give me the option... I am unable to get into my Blackberry Internet Service account because I cannot remember my password - and I have done password restore or whatever and it said it has sent to my phone

When I send an e-mail from the Torch, it arrives at the PC from My Name. When I open the message it shows My Name <myname@mydomain>.
When I invite someone to an appointment from the Torch, it arrives only as myname@mydomain.
Is there a setting on the Torch that will allow both direct e-mails and invitations to be sent with the same information, so the recipient will see My Name?
deleted prior email, but still shows icon that I have one email, but there is no messsages. I may have not opened one of the emails that I deleted . I suspect this is the problem.

I have six email addresses I track on the phone. Five of them are all on the same server but are different inboxes while the sixth is the Hotmail account from Microsoft.
Unfortunately two of the accounts on my personal server are not setting up. The phone tells me that it is synced by nothing is showing. I even submitted a test email from the phone that did show up on my desktop Outlook but does not show up on my phone.
I did a hard reset of the phone and still the exact same issue. I'm stumped as the other emails work just fine but for some reason these two inboxes are causing problems. They worked on my 920 and they work on Outlook desktop version. So what is the trick to get this working?

i have a 8310 curve and it's not working correctly.Everything on the phone works except the audio, both the speaker and mic, work intermittently. Today (11 Jan 2012) I went to restore only 'Text Message' data from a back up I did on 9th Nov 2011.
On completion of the restore, 12 Text Messages we're restored to my device, but the actual message content is blank. I.e.. the messages appear showing the 'Sender' and the 'Date', but the actual message content is missing. The icon for the messages is the same 'green bubble with a pen' that appears with draft messages.
Yesterday the keyboard started to do strange things: when I'm writing text messages it skips some letters it starts automatically to cancel all I have wrote without I have pushed "del"sometimes it automatically locks and no one key can remove the lockI already tried to remove and replace the battery but the problem still remain.

There is an e-mail icon on the top with a "1" next to it but there is no e-mail within my centralized message box or my individual mail account icons.
I tried removing the battery and putting it back in and this didn't fix the problem.
I also scrolled through all the messages within my centralized message box and there aren't any unread messages (past or current).
I also tried to fix it by sending myself an e-mail message and opening it but this didn't work. The icon on the top of my screen shows "2" when the new message arrives and when I open this e-mail message, the number next to the icon goes back to "1".
Even though I drag email message to Trash to delete them, 'message' (s) with no content still shows up on my email In box. How do I get rid of these?

I had to adjust the settings of the e-mail icon to also show SMS'es, but having both showing in one list is not convenient. It looks as if the properties of the SMS icon are completely taken over by the e-mail icon, as changing a setting under the e-mail icon also changes that same setting under the SMS icon...

i bought a N72 and i find it very nice phone at start. but after i config my phone and upgrade firm ware to last version, it show mail config wizard each time i turn on my phone. i try to delete short cut of email wizard from my screen, switch between personal & bussiness mode. delete my internet connection , .... but it dont stoped ! i try to define a fake mail to it may be it can solve my problem, but didn't help but make a change . wizard start and automaticaly closed !!! other features of phone work perfectly.

I am using BB9860 (OS7). After couple of days proper operation, now always i am getting 1 message as unread in email.
Even i have opened individually all the mails inthe inbox and marked as Read. But still showing 1 message as unread. If new 5 messages comes to the inbox then it shows as 6 message as unread. After reading 5 messages the alter goes back to 1 message as unread. how to clear this message.
I had my official mailbox set up on E72 and recently i removed the mailbox due to issues with sync. Mailbox got removed without any issues, however when i click on email one touch key, it still goes to the old mailbox & asks for pwd for connecting. Shudn't removing mailbox clean up everything? I also see this old mailbox name appear under email>global settings>homescreen>. This is strange and annoying. Is there a way i can clean up old mailbox w/o doing hard reset?
