Sony Ericsson :: C510a - Keypad Freezes / Hangs And Display Shows Nothing

My Sony Ericsson Cybershot C510a was working fine for last 6/7 months.I upgraded to latest firmware 3 months back.& it was working fine. Recently I cant use the phone because: It's keypad. It acts interestingly:
Case 01: After making the phone ON, 40/50 seconds it remains OK, but when I push the down arrow in menu list or in phonebook, It keeps going down & down.
Case 02: when I click on call end button to close anything, it closes that but opens the phonbook.
Case 03: After few minutes, it's keypad freezes/hangs & display shows nothing. I cant bring back the display(Pls note: at that time, when I open the camera slider, display cames again). When a call comes, display comes but I cant receive the call.
I tried master rest, Memory card format, Update service successfully, but problem starts after few minutes.

Have problem with my K850i, it's hang when I press menu and next step. Keypad light up but screen blank, already reflash 3 times but same result. Is my LCD broken?

I have my c510a with R1EA034 red52 and after flashing it with R1Fa035 red53 china, the menu fonts changes to numbers like.r14389, r 98220 and so the rest of the menus.

I have a sony C510.. I downloaded few themes of the internet last week and now my phone shows random colours and suddenly the display becomes reverse inverted, etc.. I tried running update service but it works fine only for a while, random colours pop out again! i deleted files also.

i bought my Aino for just 1month plus, and just yesterday, when trying to take a photo, I realised there is no "click" sound and when i proceed to take a 2nd photo, it hangs. only when i shut off and on the phone again, it goes back to normal, but after a while, when trying to take a photo again, the same thing happens and it hangs. does anyone have this problem? i called the sony erricssion call centre, but they just tell me to do a master reset everytime i ask them abt any problems, even when i encounter no ringing sound when sms comes in, the call centre aso tell me do a master reset.

I want to know if someone solves all the freezes problems and random resets from this phone...I have the lastest update of my phone. Even when you don't use the phone it hangs when you get some SMS.

I was wondering: on my Elm all keys are almost silent. No clicking soundm which I like. Except for the * key (lowest key on the left which you use for locking the phone for instance), which makes an audible click, unlike all other keys. Is this normal? For me, they could/should be all silent!

I buy SE W910 about a year ago. Never get problems with it before. And about 4 days ago, I just get dead button on C (for erase character) and the next day it just get worse. Another dead buttons on left button (option), Green button (call) and Red button (ended call). Not sure why it happen.
I found in the internet forum for the same problem but not solved. Also I have friend with same phone type and problem, bring to Sony Ericsson service and they have fix it. But the problem just back in next few days. They said the problem is on the flexible. I can't make a call with it.

Some of the key pad numbers on my phone do not work properly. The 1 does nothing. The 3 shortcuts to the camera and the 6 defaults back to the wallpaper. I have tried the master reset and this has not helped.

My w902 has an issue with the light of the keypad. When I go into the walkman player, the keypad turns orange and it would not turn off, even when the screen's light completely turn off. I don't know if it's normal this way or my phone got a problem.I would like to know your ideas.

My keypad started acting weird today, the 4 key kept mapping to something in the music player and at least the 0 key spazzes and enters more than once even if I only press it once (haven't tried the other keys for that problem). The phone is about 6 months old from AT&T and is flashed to use the Taiwan firmware, any ideas if the problem might be software or hardware?

My K850i has brod (vibrates and blue ring & keypad only lightup - it repeats these). I upload /boot folder from backup, but problem same then I reflash main, fs, finalize with a2uploader, but problem still same. Phone not dropped, no sign of hardware fault.

Whats the deal with this? When I go from "taking picture" to "viewing pictures" to "filming" etc. the camera freezes in an in zoomed blurry picture. I left it to the store and they send it to service. I then got the answer it was unrepairable. A NEW phone was sent to me.

I wanted to upload a camdriver via A2 on my device and I installed the drivers attached in the zip file and then I started the A2-Tool and used the description here around. BUT: the app is freezing my Windows system and I am forced to make a reset/(-start).Has anyone expirienced some similar things yet and know a solution to this problem? My system is Windows XP SP2 and A2 (22/09/2009).

My satio freezes everytime I press the menu. The battery has to be remove so it can be re-started. Re- formatting using the repair option in the PC Suite several times didn't help even it says Repair complete and latest software downloaded.

My Vivaz is having problems by saying I have used all the phone memory, when I haven't. I check the memory and apparently there is 33mb used by "other". There is no "other!". So I was thinking of updating my phone to wipe it and start again and see if this fixes the problem. I downloaded a newer version of the update service for my computer, turn off my phone, take out the battery, re insert the battery, hold the call button, plug the usb in and after a good while, still nothing has happened. And then the update service decided to freeze and won't let me exit so I keep having to restart my computer. What is wrong with the update service/my phone?

I own a Sony Ericsson W580i and lately I am having problems with it.
The problem is as follows...
When I plugin the phone to charge it shows a red light and no matter how many hours I charge it the same thing happens. and when I try to switch on the phone it doesnt start.
Kindly let me know what could be a possible problem.As there is no SonyEricsson authorised service centre close to my place I showed the phone in a store and he said it might be a mother board problem.I dint leave the phone with that guy as I did not trust him. if it actually might be a mother board problem or is it jus a battery problem.I am planning to go to the service centre in a short while and want to get an idea as to what might possibly be wrong...

I was thinking to get one next week especially for it's price and design. I just wanted to know how is the 16M color TFT display of the device? How sharp and vibrant is it? I previously owned a W995 and I was shocked by the poor display of it, the colors looked so faded, though it had 256K screen. The best 16M colored display (non touch) I owned was the N95. Can I expect same from Hazel? or better or worse? and What about the earpiece volume? Is it that same medium range like other SE phones or been increased?Hazel owners please put your inputs.

My sons Sony Ericsson W715i fell to ther floor and the front screen was cracked and the display became dark. Is it possible to change the glass (front screen) and display on W715i? How? Or does someone know how much it costs to repair it?

Which happened to other day so I ordered a new LCD display off Ebay. It came today and I re-fitted it but it is still like this which tells me this is not a hardware problem.

The display for my C902 phone has stopped working or to be more specific, the display works sometimes but is blank for most of the time. I have the latest software and have removed battery, memory card and SIM cards and none of this works. I have seen on the net that this has happened to other people too but I have not come across a solution.
