I wanted to upload a camdriver via A2 on my device and I installed the drivers attached in the zip file and then I started the A2-Tool and used the description here around. BUT: the app is freezing my Windows system and I am forced to make a reset/(-start).Has anyone expirienced some similar things yet and know a solution to this problem? My system is Windows XP SP2 and A2 (22/09/2009).

At what point did somebody at SE decide that a seriously laggy UI was ok? At what point did somebody at SE decide that software that crashes is good enough to be sold as a flagship model? At what point did somebody at SE decide that a second hand Nokia OS that isn't compatible with so many Nokia applications was a good Idea?
At what point did somebody at SE decide that a battery that nearly lasts 24 hours if your lucky is acceptable when there are higher capacity alternatives? These are only the basic problems. Seriously Sony Ericsson what were you doing when you thought that this phone was ready for launch? Racing against another manufacturer, " We need to release a new model quick! I've had a Sony Ericsson phone for the past five years but this is my last.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy Sony Ericsson Cybershot C510a was working fine for last 6/7 months.I upgraded to latest firmware 3 months back.& it was working fine. Recently I cant use the phone because: It's keypad. It acts interestingly:
Case 01: After making the phone ON, 40/50 seconds it remains OK, but when I push the down arrow in menu list or in phonebook, It keeps going down & down.
Case 02: when I click on call end button to close anything, it closes that but opens the phonbook.
Case 03: After few minutes, it's keypad freezes/hangs & display shows nothing. I cant bring back the display(Pls note: at that time, when I open the camera slider, display cames again). When a call comes, display comes but I cant receive the call.
I tried master rest, Memory card format, Update service successfully, but problem starts after few minutes.
My Vivaz is having problems by saying I have used all the phone memory, when I haven't. I check the memory and apparently there is 33mb used by "other". There is no "other!". So I was thinking of updating my phone to wipe it and start again and see if this fixes the problem. I downloaded a newer version of the update service for my computer, turn off my phone, take out the battery, re insert the battery, hold the call button, plug the usb in and after a good while, still nothing has happened. And then the update service decided to freeze and won't let me exit so I keep having to restart my computer. What is wrong with the update service/my phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI did a firmware update on my e52 about a week or two ago and since then my phone has crashes and freezes when I plug it to my computer via USB cable and select PC Suite.It just crashes and the only thing that helps is removing the battery and even after that I need to repeat the battery removal for 2-3 times until it finally responds. Otherwise when I push the button to switch it on it just shakes, the screen stays blank and nothing else happens.

I have had my Lumia for 10 days and for the second time it crashes during the night and the next morning I was not able to turn it on using the power button. I had to do a soft reset... The alarm that I set to wake me up never started... This means that I cannot trust my phone for waking me up in the morning! This is unacceptable!
View 13 Replies View RelatedSo I cracked my screen, changed it with OEM new parts, and worked great for weeks after the installation.Now, I'm having camera issues, back camera works fine, but when you switch to front facing camera the app freezes and crashes, and I get cant connect to camera black screen, and at this point the back camera wont work either, if you restart and clear data on camera app the back camera works again, but front facing will never work.I;m running stock rooted but I've had this issue with rooted custom roms and stock unrooted. I'm not sure if this is related to the screen change or not, but it worked great for weeks after the screen change. and, I;m having the same issue with other camera apps too, no snap chat installed nor any other apps that could conflict.

The software also sometimes will perform the wrong function when an icon or button on the phone is pressed. I have tried updating the software to see if that would help but for the last 2 weeks I have been told that the Update Centre is overloaded and I can't download the new software.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Please any suggestions this phone has been reliable upto this piont

Then I noticed the applications I had installed in the memory card are not longer displayed on the screen, and when I try to take a photo it says there is no memory card and that they will be stored in the phone's memory. It resets when I try to access the camera, sometines it stops playing music at random times, or it simply stops reading my micro sd. View 2 Replies View RelatedEverytime i recieve or make a call on my phone, the phone screen goes blank. i can answer the call but i cant end it as there is no screen. after the call has finished the phone freezes and the only way to restart the phone is to take out the battery.
PS i have done reset, master reset and updated the phone to the newest software available and i have only had the phone a few days.
Earlier today after I woke up, I was just gonna check something on my phone, when I was met with several errors saying that this and that programmed had stopped working. I chose the option "ok" on all of them because the other option report would not really get me anywhere. The thing was these errors kept coming repeating themselves (same apps getting errors repeatedly).
So after 10 min of just pressing ok on these errors I decided to reboot my phone, but when I came to the startup it stops/freezes on the SONY EXPERIA display. I can't trun it off with the on/off button, so I searched everywhere on the internet about this issue but none of the classic hold volume down + volume up + on/off button to turn it off gets me past the freeze after it goes off.
Finally the ICS update has become available for my phone (SI 1253-7151) -PC Companion pops up a message about the new update. If I click "Update", PC Companion starts downloading the update, finishes the download and says "Preparing computer for program updates".
Then it proceeds to "Unable to install or start components for update of phone system" and my phone does not get updated.Then I have tried Sony Update Service, but now I can't even start it properly; the program crashes right after opening it. It just says "Synchronizing" and then "An unexpected error has occured. The application will shut down." so I never get any possibility to see why.Again, my phone does not get updated. Since both programs crash there must be a serious problem with the downloaded files (and they're probably shared between the programs?).Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing it; I can see in a Norwegian forum that other people have the same problem - and in the original thread that you have hidden (!).
PS. The original thread was not mine; I just replied to it since I had the exact same problem. Regarding the new "moderation strategy" I believe that the above question is not rude, it's not spam - and reposting the question is necessary when the issue has not been resolved and the original thread has disappeared..
I am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my satio in may and didnt even have it for a month before things went wrong. firstly, i was never able to send a MMS to a virgin mobile phone. and then i wasnt able to send a text message to anyone. i called SE and they did all this stuff and called my carrier AT&T and nothing was wrong with my service because i put my SIM in my old phone and was able to send MMS and SMS. so SE said i had to send my satio in for repair(why they didnt just replace the phone i have no idea) and now i am waiting for parts. its been 2 weeks since i sent my phone in. and now i hear there isnt going to be another update? theres slight problems with this phone that if were fixed, it would beat the iphone and droid by a mile. i was just getting used to my satio and then i had to return it. they say i probably wont get it back until the 8th of july. thats just crazy in my opinion. why didnt they just replace the phone? when i looked into the satio as my new phone it looked so cool and when i got it i was so amazed by it. i even got a manuel in a different language, had to call SE and they said they wont send me an english manuel and that i should just look it up on their website since they update the software a lot...well apparently they dont since they havent updated it in months. to say the least, i am disapointed in SE with their future of the satio.
