Woke up this morning - and it's on the loading screen (that you see after a battery pull) with the progress bar three quarters complete. It's not progressing. Tried removing the battery. Any ideas?
Has been working perfectly for the last 2 months. Haven't changed anything.
A few days ago I switched to another phone for a few days and I left my Bold with its battery removed for a day or two.When I restarted my Bold 9700, I've been unable to see or act on the home screen or apps screen. However, the phone is still working (push on the green button and the phone screen pops up), same with the long press on blackberry key.
I did search to do a reset of my handset but I can't find a way to do it knowing that I can't access the menus.
I currently have an SMS app called Crunchsms. Anyway, got a notification today that an upgrade was available (v2.8 > v2.9). Upgraded and it asked me to reboot, as per normal. Handset rebooted, put in my pin, and the home screen is frozen. Yet if I hold in the blackberry menu key, I can choose and select other destinations (i.e. WnW, Messages, Maps, etc).I can call my handset from another phone with no problems and can answer the calls ok.
I have been getting the little arrows in the top right corner of the phone, which leads me to believe the handset was downloading something, but its been like this for about 20 minutes now. Have rebooted again twice and have taken the battery out and replaced it, same end result.
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
I've got a BB BOLD 9700 and I woke up today for it to have an all-white screen, so I turned it off via battery as it was unresponsive and now it won't load past 3/4 of the load-up screen... does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?I've looked around on other forums with advice on what to do with a 'nuked' BB, but they all say you've got to have a Windows PC and I've got a Mac!

The camera was being a little funny and won't zoom so I switched off my phone and took out the battery and replaced it to try and reboot the phone. Now it won't turn on!When the battery is in the Red LED light at the top right corner lights up then goes off when the Phone starts up showing the BLACKBERRY Logo on the screen with the Loading Bar underneath. The bar then shows that it is loading but almost immediately it crashes and switches off. It does this repeatedly though I've tried removing and replacing the battery several times.I'm sure it is not a problem with the battery as I had only charged it the previous night and even tried using another battery from my friends Blackberry just to double check but the phone continues to repeatedly turn on, crash, turn off.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.
My phone keeps hanging up on the loading page when I turn it on. It reaches at 3/4 the line and then stops there. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting it but it does not work. I even tried to connect it to my computer but it does not read the device.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy blackberry bold 9900 randomly freeze and i have to reboot its before it works again and when i lock the phone it wont unlock and the screen stays black, then i have to reboot it to before it works again.sometimes when i have a message the LED blinks but the phone wont unlock .. so that means the phone is not off when i lock it and the screen stays black it is still on but it wont unlock with any key and the screen wont even come on.

My wife has a 9700 for T-Mobile, and I'd like to put VZ Navigator on her phone. Can I use the backup/restore method for that purpose? Can I backup what's on my phone, then "restore" to hers?

I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. Flop battery out, wait, put battery in - nothing Boot it up without SIM card - nothing Boot it up in safe modus - nothing Keep it on the loading screen for a night - nothing Keep battery out for a night - nothing Hook it up to computer - nothing (Computer sees blackberry, when it hits 70% loading connection lost. due the fact it wont connect to the computer i cant preform a nuke or a format..
Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter my blackberry loads completely it has the rogers symbol that shows up after it loads the OS. The screen then fades to completely white. There is nothing on the screen and the backlight is white and never turns off. I tried battery pull number of times. This usually occurs after I start listening to internet radio. It gets fixed when I plug it into my computer last time but Im at work right now and this thing is getting annoying because I can't use my phone.

The red light will disappear and the screen will go white and show the black timer box thingy for a minute or so like it is about to load then the process will repeat. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

View 3 Replies View Relatedit's been frozen for 10 days only showing the SE logo and it won't start at all.I tried everything on the PC companion (even the repair phone link) and nothing works; when i click on repair and choose the model and set it on flash mode, it starts downloading.After 30 seconds, the download stops (i see it stopped because the lamps from my modem stop blinking) and after 5 minutes, i get the error saying that there's an internet connection problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold 9000, recently ive been having some problems with it, i did a routine battery pull while the phone was frozen, when it rebooted the arm on the loading screen went around twice then the phone rebooted again, it repeatedly does this until the phone dies, if i hook it up to the charger....same outcome, i am a poet and have months of work stored in the memos, and have about 90 numbers that werent saved on the simcard, i took the simcard out and the memory card, i have done pretty much everything i wus ever told to do as far as fixing it, i plan on buying an bold 9700 but i still must retrieve my contacts and memos can anyone give me any tips as far as fixing it, or atleast tell me how to get my memos and contacts off, thanks for your time and consideration.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy LCD screen recntly broke for my bb bold 9700.I ordered one off ebay, not knowing that there were several screen versions for the same phone.I disposed the broken one, installed the new one, and did not work.I took it to a repair center to see if they could help me out but they need the original version of the screen so that they can replace it.The problem is that I dont have the old screen so I cant tell them which version was it.is there any way I can tell which screen version my bb is intended to use without having the original screen? maybe be SN? bb model?
