My phone keeps hanging up on the loading page when I turn it on. It reaches at 3/4 the line and then stops there. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting it but it does not work. I even tried to connect it to my computer but it does not read the device.
View 1 RepliesI bought a Bold 9700 in Aug 2010, it has been working fine until 3 weeks back. It hangs / freezes unexpectedly, and although the 3G reception shows that it is full bar, I can't make/receive mobile calls and SMSes. Hence, when someone tries to call me, they can't get through and they can't SMS me to tell me they can't get through to me becos the SMS is not coming through as well!On top of this, I won't know that my phone is hanging until I try to make a call out and discover that my attempt has failed.So basically, I find myself making calls to my wife every hour just to see if my phone is in 'hang' mode And if the call attempt fails, then I'll know to reboot it. However, sometimes it takes a number of reboots (both hard and soft) before it's back up and working. This is a daily occurence happening 2-3 times a day.
*** Strange thing is that during 'hang' mode, although I can't make/receive mobile calls and SMSes, I can still send/receive Emails, BB Messenger and WhatsApp.Now I went to the Blackberry Service Centre and they gave me a one-to-one exchange But the next day after I brought my 'new' Blackberry home.. it hung again!!At this point, I thought that maybe it could be the SIM card causing the problem, so I went to my carrier and got a new SIM card.. just a few hours after... IT HUNG AGAIN! am now holding a 'new' Blackberry Bold 9700 and a new SM card but the same problem persists.
does anyone know of a program i can download that allows me to open certain websites when is says "The page you requested could not be loaded; it is too large for this device."?
View 5 Replies View RelatedStarting when I installed 5.0.0.545, and continuing on .593, and .593 pwncakes hybrid I have this minor problem I did not used to have. On my browser's go to page, the icons for the search options are cut off or missing. See the images below. This did not happen with my stock .293, .405, or any versions I used prior to .545
Is this "normal" or is something a little off with my 9700? I don't think I've wiped it since my .545 install, just upgraded.
I have been downloading apps today and their icon's dont seem to be showing up anywhere. Ive downloaded BB Maps a few times and it's nowhere to be seen. Anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Has been working perfectly for the last 2 months. Haven't changed anything.
Using the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
put my phone on charge overnight and woke up to it useless. i have it on charge and the red LED comes on for a bit ,the phone even starts it loading but cuts out after a few seconds> ive taken the battery out and put it back in and still no go. thought the charger was faulty so i plugeed into the lap top and there is still nothing
View 1 Replies View RelatedPosted this in various places and have yet to receive an answer. Just got first BlackBerry, tried to view my homepage which is a myyahoo page. When I get to the SIGN IN screen, I can sometime type in the username, but it NEVER allows me to type in the PW, thus I cannot open the page.
The arrow cursor never changes to one that will allow to type in information. I called Verizon, I visited the Store, I posted on BlackBerry forums. No one at Verizon store (4) could get it to work, no responses on the forum. Is it a browser (either BB or Yahoo) problem and does anyone know of a way around it of it the new (so I hear) BB browser will fix this problem. I really want to like this phone, but if I am barred from viewing my homepage, it is going to be hard to do.
I've got a BB BOLD 9700 and I woke up today for it to have an all-white screen, so I turned it off via battery as it was unresponsive and now it won't load past 3/4 of the load-up screen... does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?I've looked around on other forums with advice on what to do with a 'nuked' BB, but they all say you've got to have a Windows PC and I've got a Mac!

View 14 Replies View RelatedI never get GPS lock anymore on any of my GPS apps,, google, BBmaps, and like 5 other location apps.I go to my Options, Advanced Options, GPS and the page cannot open..I also noticed another problem where my Picture viewer doesn't open up pictures anymore from the thumbnail preview list. i.e when I click on a thumbnail it doesnt open full screen. It just sits there.

My wife has a 9700 for T-Mobile, and I'd like to put VZ Navigator on her phone. Can I use the backup/restore method for that purpose? Can I backup what's on my phone, then "restore" to hers?

The camera was being a little funny and won't zoom so I switched off my phone and took out the battery and replaced it to try and reboot the phone. Now it won't turn on!When the battery is in the Red LED light at the top right corner lights up then goes off when the Phone starts up showing the BLACKBERRY Logo on the screen with the Loading Bar underneath. The bar then shows that it is loading but almost immediately it crashes and switches off. It does this repeatedly though I've tried removing and replacing the battery several times.I'm sure it is not a problem with the battery as I had only charged it the previous night and even tried using another battery from my friends Blackberry just to double check but the phone continues to repeatedly turn on, crash, turn off.

I'm trying to load New Hampshire School Closings and Delays, Manchester Business Closings from WMUR, but I get the mobile version of their website, which doesn't contain this page. What i want to do now is get a backup of my files but when i connect the usb cable it only recognizes it as a recharging thing.
I'm trying to log in to www.hotschedules.com using my R410. The page loads just fine (I'm actually quite impressed with the speed) but after I type my username and pass and click the "go" button it will load then bring me to the same page as if I never typed in my login info! I figure maybe there are some setting somewhere I can change?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my iPhone 4 (iOS 4.0.1) loads a new page in Safari it randomly sometimes does not register first touch if I try to scroll it. Afterwards everything is fine. Maybe page is still loading and lags somewhere in process.
Anybody experiencing the same thing?
When I got my 9700 it was running smooth. I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. But now, I have not downloaded any new apps and is giving me that clock againg.
