Motorola :: Why Takes Xoom About 8-10 Minutes To Bootup
Sep 23, 2011Any thoughts on why I takes my Xoom about 8-10 minutes to bootup? I will admit I have something like 400 apps on it but the main flash still has 20gb free on it. Once booted up it seems to run pretty normally. Is there a way for me to speed the boot process up?

All of a sudden, it takes several minutes (if at all) to receive sat signals, and if it does connect it gives wildly incorrect information. I have not installed any new software and I even tried Safe Mode, no difference.

Oct 21, 2015I have an issue with permanent restarting and no service in my N5. I have bought it like this for very nice price with hope to restore it. It had CM11 with restarting and no service issues when I received it.
I decided to try hard reset and after many tries with Nexus Root Toolkit and LG Flashtool I have ended with 4.4.4. with quite "stable" performance (it is working fine for couple minutes periods between restarts).
In bootloader there is no issue with restarting so it looks like system problem to me but I am not sure...

Now the video freezes after couple of minutes - then I have got just audio while the picture is frozen.
Did it happen to anyone else?

Dec 26, 2011Please note a couple of minor bugs.1) Date displayn the options of the MotoACTV device you can set the date display format to the ISO unambiguous yyyy/mm/dd format, which is what I prefer. On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:

Mar 28, 2012I have been unsuccessful in installing the Motocast application on my new PC. I've had my Motoactv device for several months, but I recently gotten a new PC. When I connect the Motoactv to the PC and run the downloaded installation softwar, the software runs but then the error, "You need an internet connection for the installer to proceed. Please check your connection and try again". However, I do have an internet connection and I have disabled the firewall.

Dec 11, 2011I had an interesting experience after the update on my run today. Up to now my MOTOACTV has been fine, but today I had the music just stop several times mid-workout and it would not start again for several minutes despite pressing the "music" button quickly or even going to the music screen and pressing the play button. Within a few minutes of trying, however, it would start back up like normal. Also, my heart rate monitor was dropped once, but "sef-healed" and it seemed to be about 10-15 bpm off from normal at times. (This could be a low battery on the hrm, so I'll replace that and try again).

For some reason my dialer is very slow, Loading contacts in Dialer taking forever, if it's catced it is fine sometimes and pops up real fast like it should be... but in most cases when I launch it, I have to wait more than 20 seconds for my device to load my "Speed dial" list, and when I switch to "recents" or "contacts" tab, everything is empty, after a few seconds all contacts appear at once...
Very weird, I tried to delete recently added contacts and looking for special characters that maybe affecting or something, but no luck, I also disabled Xposed and its moduls and also unrooted, but didn't worked..
