View 3 RepliesI can't sem to reset my e-mail on maxis.blackberry.com. Got an error message: "An error occurred during email account validation. Please check the information and try again. If the error persists, inform the subscriber to contact their email account provider." I've never encountered this problem until now. Have been using the blackberry for 2 years now. I've been re-setting my e-mail account off and on when I have problem receiving mails. But since deleting the e-mail from the web this afternoon, I can't seem to re-set it again. Please help. Maxis technical people have tried and there's nothing they could do. My web-hosting guys checked on their end and everything is clear. I have tried setting the same e-mail on iPad and it works. It's a blackberry problem.

I can sign in to BB App World but when I select > My World I get the Error Message: "APP World Web Plugin Error - An Error has occurred communicating with the BB App World Client." I am connecting my 9900 in order to sync my apps with App World following a security wipe to resolve the BB ID Issue with OS7.( The security wipe does resolve the BB ID issue). I have the same problem when I have connected using 2 different PCs. One running Chrome the other Running Firefox.

I have followed all the general instructions i.e. settings, then email accounts...When I do this a screen appears thats says no accounts added and underneath an option to add Enterprise account? Which I don't have, this seems to be the only account that can be added.

I go in to Setup > Email Accounts and tap/click on Internet Mail Account, however it does nothing. I have previously used this feature to add/amend email details. It allows me to click on Enterprise Account, but when I click on Internet Mail Account nothing happens. Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem.

I had two yahoo email accounts. I canceled one of them. Every time I try to delete the account from my Bravo, I get the "error occured, try again" message. I tried the "wifi hookup and restart" answer I fount on this site, but I still cannot get rid of the second email account.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am having problems with my bionic adding accounts under the my accounts settings area. every time i try to add my picasa, facebook, Internet, or twitter it says 'an error has occurred please try again later'. when trying to add an email account it says auto setup is not available for the provider (tried with my gmail, yahoo, hotmail, & verizon accounts). i got around that by finding the manual values to fill in for each provider account, but that's just email. i am pretty miffed on the others not working.
mostly because i would like to have picasa in my gallery and be able to share photos from gallery or after taking with camera app to picasa and/or facebook. i do not want to have the facebook for android app on my phone, so just having the account set up in blur would be sufficient. i have tried taking my timezone off the automatic setting and retrying to add picasa account, still no joy. still in my 14 day trial with the bionic and am certainly being swayed by this issue
A message comes up every time I try to download something from App world saying : an error occurred with app world, it must close now. Does anyone have a solution to this? My BB is a Bold 9900.

Problem is, if I've read the new emails on my computer first, they still show up as unread emails on my Bold.Is there a setting I can use that will make it so that if I've read emails on another device, the emails will no longer show up in the notification bar? As it is right now, all new messages show up in the notification bar, despite having read the emails already on my computer.Also, there is 1 Facebook notification that won't go away. There's nothing in the notification center, and I've opened and refreshed Facebook, but that 1 notification is still there.

I recently received a message telling me to validate my e mail address but, despite my and vodafones best efforts, we have been unable to get the phone to validate my e mail password (I know I am typing the right password, because I can access my e mail on my home computer with the password). I sometimes get the message that I have successfully validated it, but after the 20 minutes or so has passed, I get the same message as before, asking me to validate my e mail.

I've done the validation thing countless times and it NEVER accepts the password. The only way I can get it to work is go to Yahoo and set a new password on my email account. Then I need to get on my 8900 and "validate" with the password.Why do I have to change my Yahoo password to get this to work? I know my password is correct because I got to Yahoo on my laptop, login, and enter the correct password and the email comes up.

I have typed in I believe valid user ID and password and get the message "unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account". This is a different message to that if I type the worong password as that says "the user name and password do not correspnd to a valid balckberry ID". I've tried resetting the password and I can log into the web site using my ID and passord, but not my phone.
