OWA 2007 seems to be working fine. I can login internally and externally at my company. But when I try and use the Blackberry Internet Service I just get the "An error occurred during email account validation. please check your information and try again." error message.
I am the IT Administrator. I know the settings are all correct. Exchange 2007 seems fine. I have checked almost every settings
I can't sem to reset my e-mail on maxis.blackberry.com. Got an error message: "An error occurred during email account validation. Please check the information and try again. If the error persists, inform the subscriber to contact their email account provider." I've never encountered this problem until now. Have been using the blackberry for 2 years now. I've been re-setting my e-mail account off and on when I have problem receiving mails. But since deleting the e-mail from the web this afternoon, I can't seem to re-set it again. Please help. Maxis technical people have tried and there's nothing they could do. My web-hosting guys checked on their end and everything is clear. I have tried setting the same e-mail on iPad and it works. It's a blackberry problem.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi am having problems with my bionic adding accounts under the my accounts settings area. every time i try to add my picasa, facebook, Internet, or twitter it says 'an error has occurred please try again later'. when trying to add an email account it says auto setup is not available for the provider (tried with my gmail, yahoo, hotmail, & verizon accounts). i got around that by finding the manual values to fill in for each provider account, but that's just email. i am pretty miffed on the others not working.
mostly because i would like to have picasa in my gallery and be able to share photos from gallery or after taking with camera app to picasa and/or facebook. i do not want to have the facebook for android app on my phone, so just having the account set up in blur would be sufficient. i have tried taking my timezone off the automatic setting and retrying to add picasa account, still no joy. still in my 14 day trial with the bionic and am certainly being swayed by this issue
there is actually no option on the phone itself to create an email account only a business one.i've tried doing it from my computer but it said my device is not registered with the wireless service provider, so i followed these instructions to do that and it just says it again!

I recently received a message telling me to validate my e mail address but, despite my and vodafones best efforts, we have been unable to get the phone to validate my e mail password (I know I am typing the right password, because I can access my e mail on my home computer with the password). I've done the validation thing countless times and it NEVER accepts the password. The only way I can get it to work is go to Yahoo and set a new password on my email account. Then I need to get on my 8900 and "validate" with the password.Why do I have to change my Yahoo password to get this to work? I know my password is correct because I got to Yahoo on my laptop, login, and enter the correct password and the email comes up.

I tried veriifying the email on my Blackberry Pearl but receive a mesaage stating my password is incorrect. Since I had to verify my email to post this message my password is apparently working from an internet connection. The very first time that I tried to login several months ago I received the Error Message: "An Internal Error has Occurred. Please Log Out and Log In again." I have rteceived the same message intermittenlty since then and also today. This seems to me a problem with the servers not adequate to the demand and should be relatively easy to remedy. i use a variety to fitness sites -- Strava, Edomondo, Garmin Connect, Training Peaks -- and have never received a simmiliar message. I think Motorola should get a handle on this problem.

Between the process of it going down, i was no longer revieving emails on my phone, so I deleted the account in hopes to simply re-add it and be back in business.Now that I deleted it, im not able to re-add it.
