I have had a message from Blackberry to validate my email address - this has happened several times and was just a case of entering my password. I have tried to do this and it keeps saying that my password is invalid. It isn't though, it is my correct password.

I am getting a message that I need to validate my email on my blackberry, but every time I try it says not a valid username password and can't validate. I have my name & password written down so I know they are correct, but the system doesn't recognize it.

The information you provided is incorrect." message.I even changed my password again to see if the new password was the problem, but no joy.

I recently received a message telling me to validate my e mail address but, despite my and vodafones best efforts, we have been unable to get the phone to validate my e mail password (I know I am typing the right password, because I can access my e mail on my home computer with the password). I sometimes get the message that I have successfully validated it, but after the 20 minutes or so has passed, I get the same message as before, asking me to validate my e mail.

I've done the validation thing countless times and it NEVER accepts the password. The only way I can get it to work is go to Yahoo and set a new password on my email account. Then I need to get on my 8900 and "validate" with the password.Why do I have to change my Yahoo password to get this to work? I know my password is correct because I got to Yahoo on my laptop, login, and enter the correct password and the email comes up.

When I hooked up my phone it asked for my password which I entered only it hasn't accepted it. I'm now down to my final go and don't really want to end up wiping my phone, I know I probably should have stopped trying sooner but I was frustrated.
It appears that the desktop software has changed my password, is there some sort of default it would have changed it to or am I destined to lose all the data on my phone?
I have had a blackberry curve 8530 since march and it is now july! Everything has worked until now when i tried to install the desktop manager and it wouldnt accept my password. I tried 10 times and now it says "last attempt" and i don't want my phone to reset everything!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a message on the general message screen telling me that my gmail password needed to be validated. i never had a problem receiving gmail to my general messages before this. I rarely use the gmail app on the phone because it tends to use more battery than the general message space. Here is what I did:
1. I went to email settings and tried to put in the password. I got a message telling me that the password was not valid even though I know it is the correct password. So I tried again.
2. I turned my phone off and then back on and tried again - same message appeared. I read further and it said that if the problem persisted I needed to contact gmail.
3. I next did a battery pull. The same message appeared again when I tried again - and again!
4. I deleted my gmail account from the phone, turned the phone off, turned it back on and then tried to reenter the gmail account and password. It told me that that gmail account was already in the phone - but the password still would not validate.
5. I changed my gmail password on my computer, tried to input the new password into the account on the phone and that didn't work either!
just got the new Bold 9700, so i wanted to move my e-mail account but each time i try to validate the e-mail pssword i get "password incorrect !?"

Please note format and reinstall is not an option since the restored data does not work. Awaiting a quick solution.

Please check the information and try again. If the error persists, inform the subscriber to contact their email account provider." I've never encountered this problem until now. Have been using the blackberry for 2 years now. I've been re-setting my e-mail account off and on when I have problem receiving mails. But since deleting the e-mail from the web this afternoon, I can't seem to re-set it again. Please help. Maxis technical people have tried and there's nothing they could do. I have an iPhone 4S. I was required by my employer to download an app, RSA SecurID, for another level of security when working from home. After I did this, I noted that my visual voicemail was not available. After searching for answers, I reset the network settings. Visual voicemail came back just fine. Now the phone won't accept the correct password for my wifi. Funny thing is, though, that it does "see" the old network name, which incidentally, had the same password. The network name still showed up on the list, so I tried it and it connected. My MBP is connected to the network just fine. I have tried resetting the router, turning the phone off and on, turned wifi off and on in the General Settings. It just fails to connect.

Having bought an iphone (G3) and tried to connect to the network, it shows me the HUB No., which corresponds to the number on the back of my router.
It then asks me for a password. I assume this is the one also on the back of the router. However when I enter this I get a message 'Unable to connect to network'
Consequently if I use my phone to get to the internet, I am charged.

Just changed ISPs (from Orange Wanadoo to BTInternet. Had the 'engineer' come out and do all the connecting stuff because I ALWAYS get it wrong. He said he had connected everything and all would be OK.
But it isn't. I wanted to check email on my iPhone, and it wouldn't. Took my phone to an O2 shop (where I bought it from) and bloke there got it going eventually.
Back home, I want to download the BTFON app, but when I enter my iTunes password, it is rejected. Can't understand what is going on, and getting very, very angry with it because virtually nothing works like it did.

When I click the unlock button at the top, the phone prompts me to input my password. Instead of showing the usual **** when I type in the letters though, it is showing the actual letters or numbers (if I click the Alt button) and says "incorrect password" - aaaargh! I'm now on attemtp 8 of 10 and daren't do any more.I've removed the battery for an hour in the hope of resetting it and unfortunately no change.
