I have a bold 9700 and just upgraded to D2G premium edition. I get the error message 'unable to connect to document to go files' when I try to pair my device.I have downloaded new software D2G and Blackberry desktop. rebooted bold and PC, but still can not pair.Can anyone help as contacting Dataviz is near an impossibility.

Any time I tried to, I got an error message telling me that "the pdf could not be opened because there is a pending dialogue on documents to go. close this dialogue and try again". o2 were like, bugger off! So, I have deleted documents to go thinking there was no point in having it as it didn't work properly. On App World I cannot find any alternative pdf readers - even thoguh an internet search suggests they are out there - and I cannot find anywhere where I can redownload documents to go.

The same link suggest to copy the address and to surf it with the normal websearch.I need to open and read .pdf.

Once I downloaded I pressed open it did and after I downloaded another one different one pressed open and I got this message "The document could not be opened because there is a pending dialog in Documents To Go. View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a Hyundai Elentra 2012 from last November and have been using my BB9900 with no issues with the car bluetooth.Once I start the car it would auto pair no issues at all.Right after the OS 7.1 update as I got in the car it said cannot pair. So I deleted both in phone and car and re paired. That connected but as soon as I shut the car off and try again it says on car menu pair failed. If I try and connect manually via the 9900 menu it says on screen cannot pair.The only way to pair it is remove both from each and re pair again.What did the OS 7.1 do to mess up th ebluetooth. By the way I have two phones and the iphone 4 pairs fine with the car so its not a car issue.Also why does BB not include the old rings tones. I have to always install it manually. I also notice the new OS use smuch more memory another 40+ mehs now I only have 140m free.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently got a Jabra Clipper BT headset +A2DP stereo headphone.Unfortunately, I am not able to pair the Jabra Clipper with my BB 9900 phone I've tried pairing with Nokia 5230 and it works perfectly ok and able to listen to music on it.So I'm sure that the headset is functionally working ok.I've tried several options to pair the BT headset with my BB 9900. The BB 9900 just does not discover the Jabra Clipper at All?
View 2 Replies View RelatedPreviously I was using a Bold 9700 handheld and was able to pair it with my Platronics 975 Discovery Bluetooth earpiece.Recently I changed to the Bold 9900 and was unable to pair the handheld with the same earpiece. I activated my Bluetooth in the 9900 in attempt to pair up the devices. But the 9900 was not able to detect the earpiece despite numerous attempts. I have checked and double checked to ensure both devices are switched on and the bluetooth is activated.Is the bluetooth in my 9900 malfunctioning?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Blackberry and would be grateful if anyone knows what the problem is.I have only my Blackberry 9700 bold for 1 month or so.I am unable to lock my keypad by using the lock key on top of the phone. This has happened before but after charging my phone it started to work again. I have turned my phone on and off, tried charging it and the button still doesn't work. Although the keypad will lock when I put it into the leather case.Do you think it is a problem with my blackberry and I should return it? Or is this a problem people have had before and if so, how do I fix it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased this 9700 (3 weeks ago) and am generally very pleased with the device. BUT If I leave the BB 9700 connected overnight to the computers USB Port for charging, and, obviously, after a few hours the computer will go to sleep, thus turning off the power to the USB port In the morning I find that the BB is: Off and will not turn on, unless it is power reset. In other words I have to open up the back and pull the battery for a second then after It is put back in the red light will display nevertheless it will turn on and be fine once it boots back up. There are no other indications or problems. I notice that other people have similar complaints with their BB's.

but my problem isn't like the others, cos it didn't show me message like, "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening camera again".
I found it out! You have to dismantle the phone, though. Walkthrough:
1) Remove the bottom plate with the branding (use guitar pick, small flat screwdriver, etc)
2) Remove and save warranty sticker in case the phone actually breaks.
3) Remove the two small screws on either side of the phone.
4) Using a guitar pick, small screwdriver, or case-opener tool, start on the sides of the phones slightly below the convenience keys and move down towards the bottom. On the bottom, there are three small clips that WILL NOT BREAK NO MATTER WHAT. Disconnect them. Then remove the keypad top first.
5) Slowly slide the pick/driver/tool from the bottom edges of the phone up until the volume rocker. One tab on each side should pop, but they are difficult. Take your time.
6) Grip the sides of the bezel and slide upwards. The top cover should come off along with the back chrome bezel (the one above the camera).
7) The phone will now appear very basic with only the trackpad and screen recognizable. On the white lower portion, several small, rectangular LEDs can be seen.
8) Use a preferred color of sharpie to color a large clear piece of packing or scotch tape, and cut it into 2mmx2mm squares.
9) Place one color square over each LED. Reassembly
10) Insert the keypad into the bezel bottom first, making sure that the screw tabs for the keypad are underneath the screw tabs in the bezel.
11) Holding this configuration, slide the bezel on top first.
12) Make sure the hole for the trackpad and the trackpad itself line up, this will assure you that the keypad is in right. Also look at the "frets" in the keypad.
13) Push on the bottom of the bezel until you hear at most three clicks (the three tabs locking back into place)
14) Run your fingers along the side with pressure to make sure that you snap in the single tab on both sides of the phone.
15) Insert and screw in the two small screws you took out before.
16 OPTIONAL) Put back the warranty sticker on the ORIGINAL side that it was on before.
17) Snap the carrier plate back into place.
