I have an iPhone 4s with iOS 8.1.1. Since the install of iOS 8, I can not scroll back in my emails any further than 2 weeks. I am able to search back further, but scroll does not allow me to.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo with my 8530 ill be texting my friend and then ill go to type my message and when i enter it sometimes it doesnt show up, and then sometimes if i try to scroll up to see the earlier messages and then try to scroll back down, it wont let me scroll all the way back down, so then i click back and then try to go into that chat with the person and it wont even let me in, and if it does it takes forever. tried a battery pull.

I seem to remember getting emails from Blackberry (or maybe vodafone) saying I needed to click on a link or something to say I wanted to continue using the service (this happened about a year into using them). I never did this because at the time I was not longer using emails, so I just let it expire (or whatever).Anyway, I was wondering I would now turn the email address back on. I have tried setting up a new account (with the same email address), but it won't let me as that email address is still registered (obviously!). Anyone have any ideas how to do it? Also, my email password has changed since then. Will that make a difference?
Also, whilst I am here, on the top of my phone's screen on the top left hand corner (kinda central though!) I have a 1 with a black circle next to it with an arrow inside the circle point kind of downwards (about 8 o clock direction). Does anyone know what this is about and how to get rid of it? I seems to related to my Blackberry App World in the 'My World' section. It asks me for my email address and password, but obviously I don't have it set up. Pressing cancel won't get rid of it!

View 4 Replies View RelatedSame thing happened from time to time on my S2. Every time I delete emails, they come back like 4-5 times. I have to delete them multiple times a day before they stay deleted. It doesn't matter if I delete them from my actual Gmail account on my PC, they still keep coming back. It also happens if I go from a WiFi area, to a non-WiFi area. It is SO ANNOYING. And, to make matters worse, I have 3 email accounts linked to my phone, which are all needed for work, so this just confuses me so many times during the day. I cannot work like this for one more second.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my own domain and I get POP3 emails the domain-provided-email-address forwarded to my POP3-ISP-provided-email address. These arrive on my N5.
I have the N5's incoming server settings set to "...delete emails from server when I delete emails from the device...". Despite this, emails get downloaded to my N5 again and again even after I have deleted them from both the N5's email inbox (accessed via the "yellow @ card going into a white envelope" icon) and also after I deleted them from theN5's Recycle bin.
I understand that POP3 emails are prone to "re-arrive" like this, but if I can just reduce the frequency that this happens, that would be good.
When I press "mail" to open emails, they stay pen for 2 seconds, then reverts to the icon screen...what gives?

Yesterday, my Incredible started behaving strangely- First- when i was driving to an appointment, it turned itself off and reset itself. When it rebooted, all my settings (Home wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts) were gone. My contact shortcut page was OK, but other setting wiped.
Today, i am deleting emails from my POP3 account, and after I delete many emails, i return to my home screen. Then i can return to my email account and the same deleted emails are back! I powered the phone off, and powered it on, now my wallpaper is back to default.
My iphone 4s is messed up. I can't scrol down at all and I have to triple click on anything to make it open.

My screen shakes when i scroll up and down, in any app, You won't notice it at first, but when i stare at my screen for a long time, you'd notice it there. I tried the same on my iphone 5 and mini, but the screen works just fine when I scroll about.
At first i thought it was an iOS8 bug and that it would go away after an update or so. But the problem persisted even after updating to iOS8.1.1.

Well it finally hit me at the worst time - I had to go to the genius bar for a repair and they did the 4.0 upgrade. I have blobs stored on saurik's server for everything through 3.1.3.
I tried a few things to downgrade to stock 3.1.3 and was finally able to do so after failure with recboot.
So now I have stock 3.1.3 and I have my custom 3.1.3 firmware made.
Going into DFU or recovery yields error 1604 - on two machines, one running iTunes 9.1 and one running 9.2. Tried with the hosts file redirecting to Saurik's server on 9.2 and to apple's server on 9.1 (haven't tried redirecting on the machine with 9.1 but I guess I'll try that next)
I am assuming the issue is the bootloader being updated - is that correct?
Is it possible to get back to jb 3.1.3 so I can roll up to 4 with pwnage 4.0 then unlock (not necessary since I am an ATT customer, but preferred)?
