BB Bold 9000 :: Scroll Ball Wont Let Scroll Down
May 28, 2010I have had my bold 9000 since it was released and lately the scroll ball has been a pain it wont let me scroll down. I`ve cleaned it with alcohol also put the phone on its face on a flat surface rolled it around it that way. any other ideas?

Dec 11, 2014My screen shakes when i scroll up and down, in any app, You won't notice it at first, but when i stare at my screen for a long time, you'd notice it there. I tried the same on my iphone 5 and mini, but the screen works just fine when I scroll about.
At first i thought it was an iOS8 bug and that it would go away after an update or so. But the problem persisted even after updating to iOS8.1.1.

Jul 1, 2014Won't allow me to zoom in or out while sending text messages only. I tried turning off the voice over option and cleared messages from the recent to do list of apps open. Nothing seems to clear up the problem including a hard restart.

Jun 22, 2010Well it finally hit me at the worst time - I had to go to the genius bar for a repair and they did the 4.0 upgrade. I have blobs stored on saurik's server for everything through 3.1.3.
I tried a few things to downgrade to stock 3.1.3 and was finally able to do so after failure with recboot.
So now I have stock 3.1.3 and I have my custom 3.1.3 firmware made.
Going into DFU or recovery yields error 1604 - on two machines, one running iTunes 9.1 and one running 9.2. Tried with the hosts file redirecting to Saurik's server on 9.2 and to apple's server on 9.1 (haven't tried redirecting on the machine with 9.1 but I guess I'll try that next)
I am assuming the issue is the bootloader being updated - is that correct?
Is it possible to get back to jb 3.1.3 so I can roll up to 4 with pwnage 4.0 then unlock (not necessary since I am an ATT customer, but preferred)?

How To Scroll Horizontally In Single Line Text Box On Web Page In Safari On IPhone
Dec 6, 2014I cannot scroll (horizontally) in a single line text box on a web page in Safari on my iPhone when the text is longer than the text box. I am pretty sure that I used to be able to do this (before iOS 8). I don't remember the last time I tried to do this. I used to touch and hold to bring up the magnifying glass and then when I would move the cursor to the beginning/end of the text box the text would scroll. Now when I try to move the cursor to the end of the text box nothing happens. If I try to move the cursor past the end of the text box the cursor actually moves outside of the text box where the text would be. If I then start typing the text jumps so the cursor is at the end of the text box. This doesn't seem to work to get back to the beginning of the text. Â

For example, I couldn't get help for the problem on my phone, because when I typed in my question, I couldn't hit the serach button to ask it!
Most links I am able to select by clicking the menu button and selecting "open link", but that doesn't work on submitting information like username/password on blogger or my bank or anything.
