IPhone :: Screen Started To Scroll Now Display Is Like Photo Negative
Jun 16, 2012
My screen started playing up today it rang and the screen started to scroll like an old tv that wasn't tuned in... now the display is like a photo negative.
i have an nokia n95 8gb.And i have a problem with my screen, one day i slide up the phone to write an sms, and instantly my nokia screen went black like a negative photo, and i turned off the phone. When i turned on the phone, the phone screen didnt give any signs of working, but the rest of the phone was fine, the lights turned on and stuff. I could work with the phone without looking on the screen. But in the next day i went to nokia care point and they looked to the phone, and they told me that was the ribbon flex . I bought a ribbon flex to my nokia and replaced it yesterday, but the phone is in the same situation, the screen does not work and the rest of the phone is fine. I ask if someone can help me with this.
My iPhone 4 has recently started to display a black screen. Has happened while using multiple apps, on a call, etc. I hold the power button down and it shows a depleted battery and suggests I plug in the charger. After a few seconds it comes back to life (apple logo, general start up process) and displays there is more than enough battery. Why?
How do I get my iPhone out of photo "negative" display mode? It went to this mode all of a sudden when I pushed the home bottom at the bottom of the iPhone.
I have a XOOM WiFi I bought from Staples on launch day. A couple of days ago the screen started turning blue. If the device sits unused (such as overnight) the next morning it is fine for about a minute or two. Then it turns blue again. The blue corruption moves. If I try to scroll up on a list that is already scrolled as far as it can go a blue "halo" appears at the bottom of the screen for as long as I hold my finger on the screen. It disappears after a few seconds. I've already tried a soft reset. I haven't tried a factory wipe yet as I was hoping to avoid that.
So my phone suddenly started flickering out of the blue. And had lines going down vertically. I restarted the phone and then the display was fine but the touch screen wouldn't work. Upon another restart it was just a blank screen with white vertical lines.
Figuring something must be wrong with the screen I ordered a new one, and upon install the new screen has the same problem. Blank screen vertical white lines. Not sure if another component is faulty.
My screen shakes when i scroll up and down, in any app, You won't notice it at first, but when i stare at my screen for a long time, you'd notice it there. I tried the same on my iphone 5 and mini, but the screen works just fine when I scroll about.
At first i thought it was an iOS8 bug and that it would go away after an update or so. But the problem persisted even after updating to iOS8.1.1.
After updating my iphone 4s today to the new IOS 5.1.1 software, the phone has started lagging!! and the screen has kept freezing for more than an hour and I couldn't turn the phone off, or access the iphone!! it was in a complete lagging stage!
Is this a bug in the OS? Is this a common issue and is Apple going to update their OS to fix this? I have tried restarting the phone and deleting the last app downloaded just in case but still automatically going to homescreen with any app. It seems to be an OS issue but not sure.
My Xperia Active is barely 3 weeks old, running Android version: 2.3.4 and latest build: 4.0.2.A.0.62. My screen brightness is kept at maximum, I have never dropped this phone or abused it and rest of it's functions are running fine. Barely a week in, it seemed to have a faintly flickering screen which I thought might have just been my eyes going. This week, the flickering has been replaced by what I would describe as "breathing" - screen brightness goes from max brightness (100%) to gradual dimness (about 78% brightness) to max brightness again - without me touching anything nor am I running out of power. This happens once in a while throught the day, not constantly. Rather alarming as I am getting very attached to this little phone.
I have been checking the SE forums since the 1st week of ownership, the flickering screen problem has been reported occuring to other SE phone models, including the Mini on which the Active has been based. I have wiped all data from my phone and gave it back to the seller for their tech to figure out. My last option if unrepairable, is to ask the seller to replace the unit. what causes the screen brightness to dim then brighten by itself (despite the latest build and software).
My IPhone 5S is about 8 months old and still under warranty.
4 days back faint gray lines started appearing on the bottom of the screen. After another day a small black spot appeared on one side of the grey lines and it has been growing since then.
I visited Apple Service Centre yesterday. They could not diagnose the issue so they sent some pictures to the Singapore team for escalation. I had a word with the singapore team today and they tell me that the black spot is likely due to pressure damage and they will not cover this under warranty.
On being quizzed further, they do not have any clue why the grey lines have occurred.
On being asked how come there are no other signs of damage either to my touchscreen or to my screen body, they hilariously replied the pressure damage is from inside the phone.
When asked how they think I could have applied pressure from inside my phone, they are clueless again.
My iphone 5s started showing small white square boxes on the bottom of the screen, is there anyway i can fix them without going to the apple store. because I have purchased the phone from UK and is it still under the warranty, now I am working in Dubai apple do not provide international warranty i guess .
I have an iPhone 5S, I charged it this morning and after that I noticed that it had two problems:1- It detects and connects to wi-fi but has no internet connection (it´s not a problem with the Wi-Fi because it works OK)2- The bottom and the sides of the screen started twinkling, it lookes like the distortions that appear when you touch a plasma screen.Â
I have had my bold 9000 since it was released and lately the scroll ball has been a pain it wont let me scroll down. I`ve cleaned it with alcohol also put the phone on its face on a flat surface rolled it around it that way. any other ideas?
I've read in the edge subforum, even my s6 flat has some problem when I try to view a photo in the gallery on landscape. It stuck in normal view. In other app (message, browser and others) it works fine? I've try wipe cache and wipe data gallery app but it still doesn't works.
