Jun 5, 2014I had deleted my Apple ID and created one same Apple ID again. After i restored my iphone to factory setting, it stuck at the activation screen, even if i filled in the correct Apple ID and password, it shows "cannot use this Apple ID to unock this phone'.

I could work with the phone without looking on the screen. But in the next day i went to nokia care point and they looked to the phone, and they told me that was the ribbon flex . I bought a ribbon flex to my nokia and replaced it yesterday, but the phone is in the same situation, the screen does not work and the rest of the phone is fine. I ask if someone can help me with this.

Jun 27, 2010I'm probably gonna get flamed, but here goes.I have a 32 3GS that I jailbroke with Spirit for 3.1.3. I got my new iP4 and wanted to reset the phone with out getting away from 3.1.3 (so I could rejailbreak super easy for sale). I did "Reset all Data and Settings" under the settings menu. From what I understand, this would erase all music, videos, email accounts, texts, ect and also erase everything from the JB, themes, apps, mods, ect.
Basically reset it back to 3.1.3 stock, without using iTunes.I was under the impression this would take somewhere between 1 - 2 hrs. But the Apple logo and Progress Bar showed up, the Bar filled up after a minute or two and the phone restarted. It then sat at the Apple logo for over 10 minutes before I noticed. I assumed it was "bricked" and attempted to go into DFU mode. When I would hold down the SLeep and Home buttons the Apple Logo would disappear and phone would turn off, but then immediately attempt to restart without me doing anything. So DFU button combo didn't do anything, I also tried Recovery mode to no avail. Is sitting at the Apple Boot Logo forever supposed to be part of this process? Anything else I can do? I am thinking of letting the batt just die completely and recharging it and hoping that will break the endless reboot so I can DFU or Recovery mode the thing.

Feb 26, 2015recently i damaged my Xperia screen and bought a replacement from online, the replacement i received worked for a whole 2 days before it started registering multiple fingers in which i sent it off to get another replacement!

now i have another screen and for some reason the brightness is stuck on the lowest setting no matter what it says in the settings (i can have it on the highest in the settings and still nothing!).

Jun 2, 2015I know a lot of you here would love the battery life i am getting so i do not mean to sound like i am complaining! I am mostly just curious! Basically i was amazed with how good my battery life was initially. I think on my second full charge i managed 8h30mins screen on time and probably averaged somewhere between 7hours - 8h30mins for the fist few days (needless to say i made tweaks to achieve those results as i always do when i buy a new phone)
I have since disabled anther 2 or 3 apps and i have also turned off location and used black themed wallpapers purely just to test if i could get even further from the battery! However the opposite has happened! Suddenly iam doing well if i make it to 5h30mins
I know that may not seem bad .......... but its not great considering the amount of tweaks i have made and i am at a loss to understand how i was getting 7-8 hours screen on time for the first few days/week!
Iam wondering if i could have disabled an app that could be behind this?
When i viewed my battery usage before i would often see chrome, facebook etc using a little battery where as now its screen, android system, android os, cell standby, device idle etc and recently peoplestripe is appearing as using 1%...

Sep 23, 2015So I recently noticed that when my flash is switched off on my galaxy S5 and I take a photo l, the photo is great. Then if I turn on the flash and take photo it looks like the photo is in negative, but it's red tinted almost like old photos before you had them developed. The photo after that is perfectly normal.

I can turn it off and back on and it will work fine but when I lock it or is goes black, and goes back onto the white screen. ive tried everything i can without taking it apart. May 25, 2012Today i forgot to bring my iphone with me, when i came home i noticed that my iphone did not respond to the power button. I have tried several solutions like putting it in DFU Mode, reset, leaving it charged on my desktop/wall for no less than 2 hrs etc and of course its jailbroken, i also tried booting it in tethered mode but these dont work.

Jun 16, 2012I tried to restore my iphone to factory settings and now I am stuck at the activation screen. The message reads"Your Iphone could not be activated because the activation Server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to iTunes to activate or try again in a couple of minutes". I am going on 3 days now. The phone is connected to my computer. Itunes is open but there is no indication that the iphone is connected. Apple support told me via email to uninstall itunes and re-install it. I did but the result is the same. When I try to restore/activate it appears to process and the following mesage appears" It may take up to 3 minutes to activate your iphone" but after the time expires it goes right back to the message above. When I hold down the home button, Emergency Call, Start Over, WiFi Settings and Cancel buttens appear. Nothing else works with or without the SIm card removed. Currently only my Wifi connection seems to register.

Jul 5, 2012I was browsing the internet with a low battery and then my iPhone switched itself off, I assume because of the battery. Ive plugged it into my charger, first to a Mac and then to the mains. It keeps staying on the apple screen for ages, then going blank, then back to the apple screen for ages again. Ive tried holding the sleep button to switch if off but it stays on the apple screen. Ive also pressed and hold sleep and the home button for 25 seconds - this eventually turns the screen blank, and then back to the apple screen. A couple of times the screen where you input your passward to unlock the phone comes on, both times Ive got as far as inputting the first number and then the screen switches back to the apple screen.
Im away from my mac and itunes that I use with this phone so havent been able to try to connect it to that yet.

Dec 10, 2014I got this Iphone 4 from my sister and her husband got the Iphone, got home noticed that they formatted the phone then connected via WiFi to only find out that my sisters husband had the Find my Iphone feature ON! No she didn't split from him and take his phone, he upgraded lol. I wish the problem could be as easily solved as giving it back to them and having them hook it up to their PC but they DON'T have one? WoW! and whats worse even is the fact that apparently every time they got a new Iphone hes used a NEW EMAIL address for his Apple ID! So they dont remember the Email address let alone the password. My sister said shes called the ATT and they'll send her an Email, but that doesnt sound right can ATT have access to Find My Iphone feature? And If not what is the proper steps in getting this resolved! I use these iphones as media devices, NOT phones I listen to podcasts and watch movies thru them nothing more.

Stuck On Set Up Screen - IPhone Is Connected
Jun 20, 2014I have followed the process of updating my iphone to ios7, and i keep choosing the option to restore my phone through 'itunes backup'. I connect my phone to itunes, i let it sync and copy over all my files and once this process is over, my phone stays on the 'iphone is connected' screen showing the diagram of the cable and the itunes logo. At this point, i'd expect to be able to get into my phone and use it as normal, once its asked for my old passcode lock probably?
I unfortunately can't do this as the top power button doesn't work and I used to use the assisted touch button to turn off my phone. So i can't get into my phone to adjust these settings either...Â
IPhone 4 :: Stuck On Startup Screen
Aug 25, 2014my iPhone 4 is now stuck on starting itself up, the screen lights up, apple logo appears, it vibrates and then repeats that all over again. Prior to this my phone had a message on it saying it could not make or receive calls, which is why i turned it off in the first place as most problems seem to be resolved by that. Earlier today, before all this my phone was working absolutely fine and no problems at all - there seems to be no explanation to this !! I have tried holding down the home and lock button as well but this does nothing.
