I refreshed my PC. Installed itunes and connected my iPhone ? However the home screen setting on my iPhone is not syncing into itunes (screenshot 1). When I check on the Sync Apps checkbox, the factory setting home screen comes up (screenshot 2). Please let me know how I can transfer the home screen setting from iPhone to iTunes.

My iPhone has 521 songs on it. About an hour ago, I decided to plug my iphone into my iMac to sync my songs onto it. It put 343 songs onto the computer, not syncing all of my 521 songs. I've tried "Sync" AND "Transfer purchases from ipod" however nothing seems to work.

I have a iphone 3g and I am having big problems accessing my apps. Everytime I go to use a app e.g facebook or ebay the scrieen goes black and then goes back to the home screen. I bought a Nokia 5230 in Jan this year. There was no issue for the first few days... Then suddenly it started restarting . Radomly. First when I enabled bluetooth. Then later on it would restart when I changed a setting like Home Screen Shortcuts or Personalised the General Profile ... etc. I am using a SanDisk MicroSD 4 GB card brand new clean formatted. I have only put in music from NokiaMusic and OVI store apps. It has nothing to do with software installed. There is some really wierd problem.
..So , I went to the Nokia Care store countless times, and they re-installed and updated the phone software and gave it to me.. still the same problem.. SO then they sent it to the Delhi Head Office and I got a replacement 5230 !!! And guess what still the same problem !!! Random restarts. I feel there is some issue with the phone software or firmware or there is some issue with the phone accessing its memory card , I dont know. I have the latest firmware update for this phone V12.0.089
Text message icon went suddenly missing from home screen after setting up mail account. Screen only has messages icon and clicking that takes to email messages.

All instructions say too push "iPod" under settings to turn on homesharing for iPhone and it does not exist. I have homesharing working on windows laptop but since that is not always turned on I would rather home share iTunes library from iPhone since my iPhone is always turned on.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is a new setting or not, but I just stumbled across it.In Settings >>> General >>> Accessibilty..All the way at the bottom you can customize a triple click shortcut. One of them being a white/black toggle that reverses the color scheme on the phone.Seems pretty un-Apple like. The look it produces makes it look like it was jailbroken!

Basically I can't get to the home screen, I have a password on my phone, soon as I try to unlock it the phone locks up.
I've done a battery pull and removing the SD card and the SIM but no joy.
But if I use the phone to make calls its fine.
Its really weird to say the least.
It could be the password causing it, is there anyway for me to disable the password outside of the phone itself? Such as using desktop manager? Or should I just bite the bullet and update the firmware?
Having updated my Bold 9900 to the latest Vodafone supported software a couple of weeks ago (just after I bought it) I have been unable to hide icons on the home screen. When I try to hide all they drop but leave the top 2 rows showing. they all pop up as expected when commanded to so it must be some software glitch?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got Belle on my N8 and I can't figure it out at all. I know it has to do with "hidden folders" on my E: drive (Not F in this case) I don't know where they could be or should be at this point). It also take a while for any previews to display.
I got 2 missing links that show up when I try to select a wallpaper (from the homescreen). At first I had none then 1 now 2. If I search for pictures from the gallery they don't show up at all (because they're hidden). If I could somehow soruce where they are I could remove them on my own.
I wish (how it was on Anna) that files in the wallpaper folder were the only one that could be found when changing wallpapers from the homescreen. Changing them from the galley doesn't work properly like it does from the homescreen (WTfail). How did I get into this mess? FaceContacts (Hidding that folder) and Trucaller (Hidding that folders cache) photos. I hide them so that they don't appear when selecting in Nokia Sleep Screen and changing wallpapers. I've deleted FaceContacts and removed those folders for now. I left TruCaller because I never saw those images appear so it wasn't the issue.
When I turn off & on my phone I can select a wallpaper again :/ At least the phone isn't slow

My computer died (this was my gaming pc btw) which had my iTunes on.
Now I want to quickly set it up on my brothers pc while I wait for the parts to come for my new gaming rig. How would I go about this without losing all my music and videos and whatever else apple deems fine to delete? My 5530XM is acting up again (v.11 firmware). The symptoms are random disconnects from WLAN and, after doing a soft reset, unable to put shortcuts on the home screen (using the Shortcuts theme). I really think the problem is with the memory card because I can't turn the phone on with the card inside.
Is there a way to scan/repair problems with the memory card? I really, really want to avoid a hard reset. Last time I did that, I lost all my apps from the memory card (I have the Games Edition). I can try using PC Suite or Ovi Suite to back up my memory card apps, but I don't trust the suites that much. What I'd like to do is drag and drop my memory card apps to another location in my PC, but I cannot see the memory card apps in Windows Explorer.

Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
