I have an Iphone 4 and want to transfer my cds from home onto the Iphone.I was able to transfer songs I bought on Itunes, but the cd's that I had ripped to Itunes did not transfer.

I refreshed my PC. Installed itunes and connected my iPhone ? However the home screen setting on my iPhone is not syncing into itunes (screenshot 1). When I check on the Sync Apps checkbox, the factory setting home screen comes up (screenshot 2). Please let me know how I can transfer the home screen setting from iPhone to iTunes.

Recent;y my iPhone 4 home button has intermittently stopped going "home" and just stay on the last page selected. Assuming it's the lag problem (making a single press lag so long it seems like a long press), what are some strategies for clearing out less necessary tasks the phone is doing?
My apps occasionall disappear from main home pages as well as from folders placed on home page but yet they are all still loaded on phone.Has happened numerous times for same apps and most apps are stored on SD card.Running latest gingerbread version 2.3.3. This has happened before on version 2.2.

All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.

Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

If I press the search button while browsing through applications, I get the following error:"The application Home (process com.motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."After I am forced to "force close" this, automatically all recently used (probably running) apps get started. To elaborate on the problem. It occurs every time I perform following steps.
1. I'm on the home screen
2. Press the Apps button (to view all installed apps)
3. Press the search button
Effects:
1. Error pop-up : Application Home has stopped unexpectedly (Exact message given above)
2. Click on "Force Close" button on the error popup
3. Screen blanks out for a couple of seconds and the home screen reappears. In case any other applications are running in the background originally, then all those apps start ie they occupy the screen (instead of home screen).

My old iphone backs up ok to itunes. HOWEVER.... it will NOT import into my new iphone 4s. Seems there's some corrupt data or something and an error message appears. I've wiped the iphone 4 clean several times and still teh same problem.
Anyway, it's better to have a clean iphone 4s... so instead of relying on itunes backup, is there any other way to load the phone record and SMS messages?
I have already transferred everything else with icloud and so on.

(We are awaiting the new 5 to update). I have the app Navigon. When I tried to syn this app on the new 3g phone via my mac and itunes, it said the version is incompatible and will not sync. I have an older version on my iphone 4. How can I syn the version on my iphone 4 with that on the new 3g?.

I currently use a 3GS, but my experience with all 3 versions of the iPhone has been the same. The home button bugs me. If I push it down in exactly the right spot it has a solid feel with a satisfying amount of travel and no audible "click". If I depress it slightly off center, either horizontally or vertically, it has a weaker feel with less travel and an annoying audible "click". So I ask you, iPhone 4 owners, can you describe your home button to me please?
I recently bought a i 4S on Jan 27, 2012 and it seemed to be fine, up untill a few days ago i noticed the home button was clicky just by tapping on the button, not actually pressing it. it's really annoying.
