This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it. It had been working fine until this morning when the iPhone is now stuck in the loop of restarting and stuck in the Apple logo screen.I have tried to hold both the sleep and Home button to reset. But, it just goes back to the same loop.Since the iPhone does not reach the Passcode screen, it is not even recognized by iTunes. So, I cannot restore it, either. How should I proceed?
I've had to have a number of 4 Blackberrys throughout the last 4 months as i keep having faulty ones. I have had my recent one for just under 3 weeks and I downloaded a theme for it. It was fine for a day or two but all of sudden started getting really slow. I did the battery pop and from then on everytime it loads up none of the buttons works and my Blackberry isn't responding to anything that I do. It is stuck on the home screen but whenever i press a button the screen lights up again but other than that nothing works. What can I do to either reset my phone or get rid of the theme without going onto my phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe system seems to be locked on the "Home Screen" (the screen with the picture background). You can hold down the blackberry button and it will bring up a menu where I can read my email and make calls (the trackball works here), but I can't select anything on the home screen, or on the large list of icons.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 3g with version 5 OS, I have 3 icons stuck - 1 text message, 1 blackberry app world, 1 facebook.
I have tried a battery pull, and searching for unread text messages, there are none, there are also no updates for any apps, or any facebook notifications - I have reset my fb notifications from the fb app and nothing has changed.
They have been stuck there for over a week and it is beginning to irritate me.
I just updated my 9550's OS to the leaked .428 and the transition was fine besides one issue. The e-mail icon is stuck on my screen. I've read a few threads with this issue and tried every fix they had, nothing has worked. I think I've found the cause of the issue, but don't have a resolution. When I loaded the OS, I had two new Facebook messages. When the OS loaded, the OS recognized them as e-mails until I activated the Facebook app. When it loaded, the Facebook icon popped up on the homescreen, but the e-mail icon didn't disappear.
Some steps I've taken to try to resolve the issue:
1) Check all message locations, including SMS, MMS, BBM, e-mails, etc. There are no new messages anywhere.
2) Deleted both e-mail accounts from my phone, didn't take it away.
3) Backed up my data and wiped/restored.
4) Deleted Facebook as an app, then backed up the data and wiped/restored. Even without Facebook as an app the e-mail icon is still there.
5) Went to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, Register Now.
6) Went to Options, Advanced, Service Book, deleted my e-mail from there.
my x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.

I have no emails or messages at all on my phone anymore, and I cleared the messages from the advanced tab thingy on the desktop manager. I've done a battery pull, turned it off and waited a few minutes before turning it back on, and nothing has worked. I even tried sending a text message to my phone from my husband's, and it showed up as 2 messages on the icon, but when I deleted that new text msg, it went back down to 1 read message and is still there.

Like others, I tried the software update, and then my phone constantly got stuck at the four little circles at start up. I followed some instructions I found on AndroidPit:
1. From a powered off state, press the Power button to start your Nexus 5. When you see the Google logo press and hold the Volume Down key and release when the device vibrates.
2. Use the volume keys to highlight Recovery Menu and press the Power button to select. This will bring you to a screen with an Android on its back.
3. Hold the Volume Up key for 5 secs then release and a new menu will appear.
4. First off, you can use the volume keys to select Wipe Cache Partition. This will cause your phone to restart. once this is done, re-do the previous steps to get back to the same screen (the one that Wipe Cache Partition was on).
5. Highlight Wipe Data/Factory Reset and select using the Power key. Scroll down to Yes, Delete All Data and press the Power button again to select.
6. Your Nexus 5 will now wipe your data and reformat.
7. On the next screen hit the Power button to select Reboot System Now.
It has been 40 minutes now and it's stuck on 'Formatting /data'. Is this normal?
I've only had this phone for a couple of months and it was functioning perfectly until now I haven't rooted it or anything.
I am stuck on boot screen.. I went into download mode but I keep getting stuck on Setup Connection when I try to flash the stock rom.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecent;y my iPhone 4 home button has intermittently stopped going "home" and just stay on the last page selected. I spoke with an apple customer service person and the said that if the horizontal tray at the bottom of the display could be too full ad that would cause a delay in the home button working.?

View 11 Replies View RelatedIt does it intermittently, and I suspect it's because the whole phone is lagging - too many little background things running I suppose.
Assuming it's the lag problem (making a single press lag so long it seems like a long press), what are some strategies for clearing out less necessary tasks the phone is doing?
My apps occasionall disappear from main home pages as well as from folders placed on home page but yet they are all still loaded on phone.Has happened numerous times for same apps and most apps are stored on SD card.Running latest gingerbread version 2.3.3. This has happened before on version 2.2.

View 2 Replies View RelatedElectrify on U S Cellular. When moving from one home screen to another has just a slight lag or more of jerk then a fluid movement.
All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.
Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
View 3 Replies View Relateda) When using the "search" button in the application's list; com.motorola.home crashed (I have a popup telling so) b) Very often, when I'm not on the Home Screen (an App is in front, the phone is locked, ...), the home screen is doing the full, long, refresh (takes times to draw the icons, reload widgets, etc.); I suspect that there also, com.motorola.home crashed but I don't have any popup telling this (and I don't know how I could prove thisAs it is not rooted and their is no way to make any application data backup (https://forums.motorola.com/comment/610112), I do not wish to make a full factory reset. Is there anyway I could make that process more stable (I added it to the white list is "auto memory" application, without success) or is there

I have an IPhone 3g that was upgraded to ios4.0 it ran terrible and crashed a lot so I looked up how to downgrade. So I did a shift restore in itunes and put 3.1.3 on it and used reboot to reboot it. So it runs fine now but it wont restore so it lost everything that was on it pics photos etc. It says wont restore 4.0 back to 3.1.3 in itunes. I have tried upgrading back to 4.0 and even 4.0.1 and now they all fail and its stuck at 3.1.3. I am guessing I still have 4.0 base band with 3.1.3 firmware which is failing the upgrade check. This phone has never been jailbreak.
Things I have tried.
jailbreak 3.1.3 <- froze on the hard disk pic on the screen
jailbreak 4.0 <- said successful rebooted phone and nothing changed no cydia still at 3.1.3
hitting restore in itunes says wants to update and restore to 4.0.1 update fails.
hitting shift restore in itunes pointing to 4.0 iphone in dfu mode < restore fails
hitting shift restore in itunes pointing to 4.0.1 iphone in dfu mode < restore fails
hitting shift restore in itunes pointing to 3.1.3 iphone in dfu mode < restore fails
I have a iphone3g and i try to upgrade but now im stuck with the code error 1015. It shows to connect to iTunes but everytime i try it shows same error.
