Sometimes the home button on my iphone 4S doesn't work and I have to turn the phone on/off or plug in the charger and wriggle it around to get the phone working again.

I just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

At first, it wouldn't charge so i had to find a different charger that i had ordered from amazon (not from apple) and it only worked when i plugged it in with one side. the other chargers that i have from apple do not work. the home button sometimes works correctly, but im sure that it starts to not respond correctly after i plug the charger in. i have tried almost everything i could find on the internet. im not sure if its a hardware or software problem
I was on instagram and it froze I hit the power button to put it to "sleep" and I tried to open it back up and its been stuck at a dark screen. I tried holding the power button in order to reset and nothing happens.. When I press the home button siri turns on but I can't get anywhere with that either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my Lumia 610 with charger, Its touch screen gets stuck. It does not allow me to unlock the phone by sliding the wallpaper upside. When I disconnect charger then it works like anything. I had also noted that some times, the wallpaper keeps jumping and suddenly slides upside and random applications gets started. But again when I remove the charger then it works normally. Is there any issue regarding the USB connector?
View 3 Replies View RelatedUsed the new Moto Turbo Charger (Quick Charge 2.0) charger with success on my M8 when it was Sense.Now I've converted it to a GPE edition, and 2 of the 3 times I've used the charger since, the battery meter becomes stuck during/after the charge. Once at 64%, once at 80%. Restarting the phone gets it working again.
So I'm thinking the battery has become uncalibrated? Would draining it to 0%, then charging it non stop to 100% be away to fix this?One site said wipe the cache partition and Dalvik cache. Another suggested something with both volume keys that wipes the battery memory.

After pulling battery and it going through the loading screen, it will get to the home screen. Moving the rolling ball thingy is the only thing that works, it wont let you actually select anything. I have tried to do a "soft" reset ? by pressing alt/shift right/ and delete. Nothing happens when I do this. Eventually when the screen goes to "sleep" I guess nothing will make the home screen come up again.

Periodically when i am using my iphone and i press the home button it get stuck in and is very difficult to get back out. This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it. However now the iphone has been out of warranty for a month it seems to be happening more and more frequently.

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

I've had to have a number of 4 Blackberrys throughout the last 4 months as i keep having faulty ones. I have had my recent one for just under 3 weeks and I downloaded a theme for it. It was fine for a day or two but all of sudden started getting really slow. I did the battery pop and from then on everytime it loads up none of the buttons works and my Blackberry isn't responding to anything that I do. It is stuck on the home screen but whenever i press a button the screen lights up again but other than that nothing works. What can I do to either reset my phone or get rid of the theme without going onto my phone?
