Won't allow me to zoom in or out while sending text messages only. I tried turning off the voice over option and cleared messages from the recent to do list of apps open. Nothing seems to clear up the problem including a hard restart.

I am currently having an issue, a rather irritating one, with my Torch 9810. With some text message conversations, I can`t scroll up through previous messages sent, whereas in some conversations I can move freely through days worth of messaging.

I just want to know if there is a way that I can open my text message "inbox" without haivng to open a new text message that I have. I used to have a droid. When I clicked on the message icon, it would open to the full inbox, just not the conversation with the new text message. I want to know if there is a way I can do this with my iPhone as well.

I cannot scroll (horizontally) in a single line text box on a web page in Safari on my iPhone when the text is longer than the text box. I am pretty sure that I used to be able to do this (before iOS 8). I don't remember the last time I tried to do this. I used to touch and hold to bring up the magnifying glass and then when I would move the cursor to the beginning/end of the text box the text would scroll. Now when I try to move the cursor to the end of the text box nothing happens. If I try to move the cursor past the end of the text box the cursor actually moves outside of the text box where the text would be. If I then start typing the text jumps so the cursor is at the end of the text box. This doesn't seem to work to get back to the beginning of the text. Â

Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. I searched, but couldn't find anything. I got my first Blackberry today-a Tour 9630. It has the OS V 4.7.1.57. To answer a text message at this point (after there is a message notification), I have to scroll to message Icon, click with ball, hit menu key, scroll down to "view folder", and then scroll to "SMS Inbox". Surely there is a simpler way to this?
I've also read about combining SMS and MMS messages into a single message type-is this possible? Can I at least combine the inbox/outboxes?

I have had my bold 9000 since it was released and lately the scroll ball has been a pain it wont let me scroll down. I`ve cleaned it with alcohol also put the phone on its face on a flat surface rolled it around it that way. any other ideas?

1. I want txt alerts to continue (every minute or two) until I have opened and read a text message. Does any model I-Phone allow for this?

It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. When I try to forward a text message to more than 10 people by using the contacts menu to select the recipients, the message changes from text message to multimedia message.
Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?
The mms message is lengthy and the entire text is not displayed.It shows "more" in the bottom rh corner of the text but can't figure out. how to get the rest of the text to show.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
When I click from either the "Notification" screen, or the Text Message List, I am directed to the wrong text messaging thread. This doesn't happen every time, it happens every day, and multiple times, however. Usually, when I reboot the phone, the problem is gone...momentarily.
It seems to happen with random messages. I use Universal Inbox and currently see message from text, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and my AT&T mail.
If I use the stock Text Messaging app, I can open the list of messages and see whatever I can from the preview there, but when I click to open the thread, it will open a totally random message thread. Weird. I'm not that into text messaging, but it does annoy me when I need to use it and I can't open individual messages because the wrong ones are appearing.
I don't know if this is a device problem, a software/app problem, an AT&T messaging problem or what. I'm somewhat ignorant about smartphones and have only had this Atrix 2 for about three months.
