May 4, 2012When I click the email icon, a blank email screen pops up for about 10 seconds, then shuts down and goes back to the main screen. I have restarted the iphone, closed the applications and even checked my emails online. Nothing seems to be working.

I have tried the hard restart over 4 times, checked all settings. My iPad works fine. This issue started late last night after reviewing a large file.

Â Specifically my battery percentage has disappeared and my message settings have changed as well. Aug 30, 2015Strange issue with my S6. The phone application takes 5-7 seconds to open every time. Once I am in the app there's no slow down. I have cleared the cache partition and restarted the phone. I have also cleared data/cache on all three 'Phone' apps. Not sure why there are three.

Feb 4, 2010Device info : Blackberry 8900 v4.6.1.199 (Platform 4.2.0.102)I bought my blackberry curve couple of days ago and everything is fine but what happens sometimes is that the screen swtiches off like when you put it in the cover for example but the problem is that while I am using it suddenly the screen switches off (goes blank) and I try pressing buttons or the track ball or the lock button .. nothing happens .. I wait couple of more seconds and then the screen comes back and I continue using it normally. It is happening alot now , do you think it is a software problem or not ?Does the cover that came with the blackberry curve has to do with it ? Like a magnetic thing or something ?

Aug 14, 2010I just got my new Captivate and it is a very nice phone. I have one issue with it and wanted to know if it is normal or do I have a defective phone. No matter where i am and what type of light I am in (i.e sunlight,darkness etc) the back light for the 4 buttons below the screen (Home, Menu,Search and back) turns off after about 2-3 seconds which is very quickly. It comes back on if I touch the buttons or if I touch the screen. I see a backlight timer for the screen but not for the touch sensitive buttons. Is it normal that the backlight for the buttons goes out in 2-3 seconds? Of do I have a defect?

Nov 25, 2011When your typing on the laptop dock 100 using the Photon it often reverts back to other parts of your sentence. Which my cause you to start typing anywhere in sentense. For instance if your typing the the Sentence ( I really like my laptop dock but) while your about to type a word after your last in may revert back to maybe like and continue your typing. Which messes up everything. It does it often. I returned one laptop dock and received another one but it still doing the same think. There doesn't seem to be nothing in setting on phone or dock that I see could help with this.

Jun 17, 2014iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1 or even other iPhone versions. Sometimes - it becomes more frequent - when I turn on the screen (the phone was on standby) and I start giving some input (e.g. sliding to unlock or entering the PIN) it will recognise my input, but then rejects it. For example when I want to unlock, I slide and when I lift my finger it rejects my input by sliding back to the start position. Another example is when entering the PIN (this happened once).
I started entering the numbers and when reaching the 4th, the input gets rejected (the last circle fills up and gets empty again). I also had it once when I had my phone unlocked already and I was looking at my home screen, sliding to the right - got rejected and landed on the first screen. When this happens the workaround is easy, putting my phone into standby and bring it back up and everything is fine. I have the suspicion, that there is a timer triggered or there should be a popup appearing - which is not coming up. And just for the record, my iPhone is not jailbroken or something.

Jan 4, 2012So my Bold 9780 has been acting very weird lately. And for some reason I think it has somethign to do with BB Protect. It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.

LG G3 :: Play Store Opens Up A Grey Screen With Nothing On It
Jun 22, 2015I'm new to the Android world as I switch from iPhone 5 to this new LG G3 that is 5 days old. Last week I downloaded some apps from play store everything was good. Then I removed some factory Apps that I will never use and all of sudden Play Store stop working. It was loading properly but when you hit the install, it would just spin and spin. So talking to the place I got it we did a factory reset and everything was fine again. I installed a bunch of apps and everything was ok.
Yesterday I only remove 1 app and right after I did that I tested Play store and it worked fine. Later at night I tried to install another app and it said that it finished downloading and it would install later. That never happen and now I'm getting a just a grey screen when Play store opens.
I love my new phone except for this Play store issues. I know I could restore again but seriously I don't want to consistently do that over and over. Plus I have to download all my app as again and configure them.

Jul 6, 2010I've had my AT&T Blackberry Bold 9700 since November of 2009 and am just experiencing this problem. My device is set so the back light goes off after 20 seconds. Whenever I put it down or lock it, the back light goes off just as it should. But, within 5-10 minutes, it turns back on without provocation and won't shut off again until I unlock and re-lock the phone.
As you can imagine, this is killing my battery life. I've tried playing with the settings, but nothing seems to do the trick. I've rebooted several times and removed the battery twice, but neither has worked. Anyone encounter this issue and/or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

IPhone :: 4s Reverts To 4G Despite Being Connected To WIFI?
Apr 5, 2012I am having a situation I was wondering if others might be experiencing. At home I am using a Linksys Router running a variant of the Tomato firmware which allows me to monitor the amount of traffic coming and going on our internet service. If I am streaming a 128k radio station, I see a nice steady stream of data being downloaded by the phone, but then at some point, randomly triggered, the app will pause to rebuffer the stream. After a few seconds the stream continues to play BUT the monitor graph on the router drops off towards zero. The stream will continue playing but the data is NOT coming from the wifi router. The router did not experience any issues because other devices on the network continue with incident.
I have gotten into the habit of when I get home, I turn off carrier data. The stream will play the entire length of the hockey game without a skip, but when I enable carrier data, at some point during the game, the stream will pause, rebuffer and continue using carrier data and not wifi data.

Its just opening to an "item not found / retry" page. Seems to be since this latest security patch from VZW over the weekend.
