When I click the email icon, a blank email screen pops up for about 10 seconds, then shuts down and goes back to the main screen. I have restarted the iphone, closed the applications and even checked my emails online. Nothing seems to be working.

I am using Samsung Galaxy S2 and use Kies for all my work.I have recently updated the Kies with 2.2. 0.12014_ 18.Every time I open kies it comes with this Message: "There are new components for Samsung Kies. Some of the components of Samsung Kies need to be updated for firmware management.Do you want to update now?"When I click "OK" it closes and never opens again. Then when you open it, the same old stories all the time.I have uninstalled, reinstalled and tried all but failed to set right the problem.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have always used the Nokia Email client on my N97 Mini, it's worked fine for some time.Last night my N97 mini notified me that an update was available, which I accepted and it downloaded and installed Nokia Email messenger 10.2.0.4 After the install I turned the phone on and off again, and now it will not receive new email - specifically my 2 Windows Live accounts: @live.com & @live.co.uk I went to the page http://email.nokia.com and re-downloaded and re-installed the same version, turned my phone on and off again and still nothing. It says the email client is online and I have tried forcing it to sync by going to "Options" then "Send/Receive" but it simply isn't working.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThursday I didn't get any emails from my external email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, Work) until 11:40PM Pacific then I got a whole days worth. Since then I haven't received anything.My phone works, text messaging works, the brower works, I can see the emails when I go to the websites on the PC or BB Browser. Facebook (no notifications though because they come through email) and Twitter apps work.I sent a test email from my BB from my yahoo account to my hotmail account and it did send.I have taken the battery out and restarted it. There arent any errors or anything I'm just not receiving the emails.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have searched around and found many problems faced regarding the email icon showing unread emails but in actual fact there are none. My problem however is the opposite of that - there are unread emails but it is not indicating as such.
This is specifically for Gmail as all my other email accounts are showing unread emails just fine. It is a minor issue but it does get on my nerves trying to figure this out.
Recent activities include upgrading OS to OS5 and changing telco, doubt if these are the cause of it. I have tried deleting and creating the email account and battery pull to no avail.
Why does the gmail app icon always show 99+ and the email icon always shows 30 emails even after I clean up my mailboxes and know for sure that I have 0 unread emails? Is there a fix for this? When I was on ios as soon as I had all emails read the counts from the app icons used to disappear.

It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.

For example, I don't use the Facebook application due to preferring the mobile web based version but would like to open directly from the homepage if possible without opening the browser and selecting the bookmark.
The phone icon doesn't appear on any screen unless you double click the home button.

If I don't check it right away and check it like 30 minutes later, I go to the messages folder as usual and the email is in the list there, but the envelope icon shows that it's already opened. Over the last 48 hours my iPhone 5S iOS8.1.1 is no longer receiving e-mails. I have tried all of the simple fixes suggested on this website including having deleted and then re-added my Yahoo account to no avail. I am able to do everything else with my phone as normal. My MacBook continues to receive e-mails as previously. I have received no error messages.

this just started today, my iphone 4s no longer recieves emails, yet it can send them. I have an aol account, and it says it can't open the aol email address that I have saved on the phone, and it shows that the mail as not been updated since 1:42 am this morning. It shows its checking for mail but then just stops.my imessage just randomly stopped working now too. I checked the settings and it shows its on.

My Fiance and I upgraded our phones yesterday. We both now have the iPhone 5s. Everything from the iCloud transferred over great. My phone is working perfectly. My fiancé's phone however is having problems with his yahoo email account. All of his sent email is showing up, and he can send them out; however, nothing is showing up in his inbox and he cannot receive any emails on his phone. We compared mine to his and every thing is set up the same, however we cannot figure out why he is not receiving emails.

My 4S has a passcode lock set, as a new requirement by work. I am not receiving text messages, emails or reminders until I have entered the 4 digit passcode, effectively waking the phone. I find this incredibly annoying. I'm not sure if I have an inccorect setting or if it is a phone issue.
