Strange issue with my S6. The phone application takes 5-7 seconds to open every time. Once I am in the app there's no slow down. I have cleared the cache partition and restarted the phone. I have also cleared data/cache on all three 'Phone' apps. Not sure why there are three.
View 1 RepliesRecently I have updated my Xperia Pro phone to ICS. After this update both phone dialer and contacts menu opens very slow. It takes 4 to 8 seconds depending on phone congestion to open it i.e. when you hit the phone icon on menu first appers a black screen and than only few minutes after you can call someone. It is a bit uncomfortable when you try call someone, especially if it is urgent, your phone's primary function doesn't work fast. And phone's physical qwerty keyboard changed to azerty.

I'm not sure if it's related but recently here phone screen starts to dim and flicker if charging or left alone for a little while.
Is there anything I can do to stop this apparent spread of corrupted data? I ran virus scanners and she is using only the internal memory, no extra SD card,

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently an application requested me to download "NBA game time" to use an additional feature. I opted out of downloading it. But I have noticed that since then 3 out of 5 times I unlock my phone it unlocks to the NBA game time app page in the play store. I now don't remember which app suggested this download. So I assume it was the sports center app but can't find anything that would keep triggering this issue. I even download the app and deleted to see if it would stop but to no success...

Every time I open my phone with my password, it will lock itself within 10 seconds unless I keep "active" on whatever program I'm in. I've had the phone about 3 months. It didn't do this until I called AT&T last week and did some things that were suggested to me to save data. I didn't do anything with the display settings--in fact, I've gone back in to be sure the sleep setting is 10 minutes (unless I otherwise lock it myself).
View 4 Replies View Relatedone week ago i installed OTA 5.1.1' but it's not the new with the new icons, and i am having some issues with it, the phone lags in the settings app for the first couple of seconds, when someone call me and i slide the green circle to the right the in-call screen appears but the phone freeze for two seconds and then return to the screen you see when someone calling you again....sometimes i have to slide it 3 times to answer the call, i didn't have these issues in 5.1.1, now the question is for those who have the newest 5.1.1, do you have these issues??
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy S5's screen turns on every 15 seconds or so while the phone is charging. Its not that big a deal, but I can't imagine it causes the phone to charge faster when it is turning on the screen all the time.
What's odd is that it stops doing it when my phone gets to 90%-charged. From 90% to 100%, it doesn't do it, but any percentage lower than 90%, it turns on about every 15-20 seconds and stays on for like 2 seconds, turns itself off, then turns on again 15 seconds later.I have browsed through the Settings pages, but can't find anything that looks like a way to stop this.

When entering an pattern to unlock the phone, and you accidentally enter it wrong, you have to wait 30 second each try.
I've searched through the manual and online, but I can't seem to find a way to disable or extend this feature to 3 try's.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSometimes during general use my G3's screen will flicker and then slowly fade to black. To get it back I have to lock the phone and then I'm able to use the knock code to wake it up again and then screen looks fine, but will often repeat this behaviour soon afterwards. It sort of looks like the backlight is turning off, leaving only the dark parts of the image visible.
I'm 4 days out of warranty so can't send back to lg for a fix. The phone is not water damaged and is in pretty good condition other than a few bangs and scratches to the corners. The screen itself isn't cracked or anything. Iv also tried a factory reset which hasn't worked?
I thought it would put the iphone to shame and although certain aspects of it are great, I can't help being let down by some parts. After waiting 2 months for the phone after preordering it in October it seems like things are moving slowly in the development of the phone, correct me if im wrong but there's no mms, no navigation on ovi maps, you can't use the latest PC suite and the biggest bugbear is no music store. Hopefully these things will become available in the not so distant future... maybe im just too impatient!

Now my Nokia phone working slowly whenever I play the music and headset sound increasing if I attend the call through headset and hearing music simultaneously. What's the problem? The Nokia headset sound is too low when attending calls through headset? I can't hear voice while driving. My headset warranty period also finished. Is this headset problem or Nokia problem?

1. It charges extremely slow. I have tried different outlets and chargers to see if it can work but it doesn't and it take more than 3 hours to charge to its full capacity. How do I fix this?
2. While the camera is great, the image quality is not the best considering that it has a high mp I would expect more because I have seen images online where the quality is beautiful but when I look at my phone it's not like that.
Furthermore the front cam always has a lot of background noise which makes the images really bad. How do I fix these 2 problems?
3. Whenever I call someone and want to put them on speaker or I want to hangup it takes forever for the screen to light up. I even press the power button to see if it works but it doesn't.

Recently I noticed this strange behaviour. It does not happen with all phone calls, but it already happened twice since yesterday, I receive a phone call and once I hang up I'm sent to the iPhone's main screen with the green warning bar informing me to click there to return to my Facetime call. If I click I'm sent to the Facetime app.
But notice that I did not make a Facetime call, I received a standard phone call.Â

As the title says, my play store app is now opening randomly and interrupting whatever i'm trying to open but not to a specific app or anything. Its just opening to an "item not found / retry" page. Seems to be since this latest security patch from VZW over the weekend. I've cleared cache and data from the play store app as well as play services.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)
Looking for a way tog et pack the long press home button and you can instantly start talking to the google voice .

Having issues with their Nexus 5 not charging, or at the very least charging super slowly?
Mine has been plugged in for about 3 hours and only charged up about 10%. Could it be a teething issue (it's the first charge out of the box) or something worth contacting Google about?
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe apple logo appears for 5 seconds then disappears for 10 then appears for five and so on. I can get it to the connect to iTunes screen but as soon as I unplug it from the wall it shuts off completely. A laptop with iTunes isn't enough to power it up.
