Galaxy S6 :: Camera App Just Randomly Opens
May 17, 2015I noticed that sometimes while in pocket, the camera app just randomly opens even though I felt that I didn't really press the home button twice to open it and sometimes the lock screen unlocks while in pocket...really weird...

Aug 30, 2015Strange issue with my S6. The phone application takes 5-7 seconds to open every time. Once I am in the app there's no slow down. I have cleared the cache partition and restarted the phone. I have also cleared data/cache on all three 'Phone' apps. Not sure why there are three.

May 23, 2014Recently an application requested me to download "NBA game time" to use an additional feature. I opted out of downloading it. But I have noticed that since then 3 out of 5 times I unlock my phone it unlocks to the NBA game time app page in the play store. I now don't remember which app suggested this download. So I assume it was the sports center app but can't find anything that would keep triggering this issue. I even download the app and deleted to see if it would stop but to no success...

Mar 15, 2012When I doube tap the home button to use the camera from the home screen, it sort of 'hops' up about 1/2 a cm, but then bounces back down without opening the camera app, this is only since the upgrade to 5.1. I tried a hard reset, but no joy (and no shortcut to the camera either!!)

Mar 4, 2010So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?
Lumia 1020 :: Camera Never Opens - Just Boots Out
Jun 4, 2015This just started happening today. I have had my phone (Lumia 1020) for less that a year. At the beginning of the week I had the blue screen of death (boot configuration error) - and had to re-install the software- which I did successfully a few days ago. All was good... The camera worked for a few days and then boom- as of today it just boots me back to the start screen when I go to take a pic.

Jun 5, 2014My iPhone 5S camera opens and closes immediately. My flashlight is no longer on my phone at all as a standard option (it's gone). I am only able to take forward-facing pictures through Instagram and Snapchat.
What I've tried so far -
1.)Regular Reset (erasing nothing),
2.) Restore (took everything off of my phone and then reloaded it by backup from iCloud). Â
I turn the phone on after both and my camera still opens and closes within 2 seconds.

Jun 4, 2014Today my back facing camera stopped working. When I open the app the screen stays black and the shutter doesn't open. The front facing camera is working though. I've tried resetting the phone to factory settings. What else can I do?

Mar 30, 2015Have the Turbo and can't figure out how to stop the camera app from opening from the lock screen. I tried both enabling the camera to open with twisting the phone and disabling. I am running the latest update 21.44.12. I am using Nova Launcher which is updated to the latest version. I don't use the camera much and find it quite annoying that when unlocking the phone the camera opens. Any setting that I can disable so that camera will not open??

Recently I noticed this strange behaviour. It does not happen with all phone calls, but it already happened twice since yesterday, I receive a phone call and once I hang up I'm sent to the iPhone's main screen with the green warning bar informing me to click there to return to my Facetime call. If I click I'm sent to the Facetime app.
But notice that I did not make a Facetime call, I received a standard phone call.Â

Galaxy S6 :: Play Store Opens Randomly To Item Not Found / Retry Screen
Oct 21, 2015As the title says, my play store app is now opening randomly and interrupting whatever i'm trying to open but not to a specific app or anything. Its just opening to an "item not found / retry" page. Seems to be since this latest security patch from VZW over the weekend. I've cleared cache and data from the play store app as well as play services.

Jul 14, 2015I install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)
Looking for a way tog et pack the long press home button and you can instantly start talking to the google voice .
I am stock rooted...

Jul 25, 2015I have brought s6 its a good device but when i turn video recording its over heat and the " phone it will say this device is very hot try again when cool down and then camera don't work". After reading that i have ran to costumer care they have checked it and saying we cant give u a replacement and say they can only give replacement when the temperature is at 49c what should i do!!

A fix for this which I've seen several places on the web is: "You have to clear the camera app cache if you want from your camera app to take good quality photos and to focus correctly. To do this go to Settings > Application Manager > All Apps and then find the Camera app. Click on it and clear cache. This is like a factory reset for your camera." However, When I go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager (I must take the extra middle step to get there; perhaps my phone is a later model), I do not see anything called All Apps and cannot find the camera app there.
The camera is really no good if all the pictures are out of focus.

May 31, 2015Having a strange issue where the phone won't power off using the physical power button, the camera keeps coming up, and the phone gets really hot.
Did the soft reset by holding power + volume down for 7 seconds and had it restart, power off, and safe restart, all of which I was able to do successfully, but each time the phone has the same issue when it boots back up.
I don't want to hard reset and lose my layout.
