HTC Hero :: Mobile Phone Is Unlocked But Connected To 3 Network
May 19, 2010I am very new to the Android OS and I am finding it rather confusing.I believe my HTC Hero mobile phone is unlocked but connected the the 3 network.I have been trying to update the phone as I dont think I have the latest version.

Jan 11, 2012i have bought this unlocked phone for about 550$, but internet is stuck on edge(not even 2g) which is incredibly slow.Please help me solve this i have searched internet but just a few ppl has the same problem with unlocked samsung galaxy S2 and tmobile.That made me think that there might be a solution like changing the Tmobile sim card(i dont know if there is only one type of sim card), entering an unlock code provided by tmobile, or going to a samsung maintenance service and let them fix it or anyother? I have updated to the new firmware but did no effect.I cant understand how such a big company like samsungs' cutting edge new phone comes out of the factory with unsupporting the USAs one(Tmobile) of the 2(Tmobile,ATT) GSM networks data frequency.

Mar 10, 2010I just recently purchased an unlocked Blackberry 8900 phone which I placed my current contracts sim card in. My sim's contract includes mobile internet, just wondering how I can use this on my blackberry?
I can set up the Blackberry to use my wifi connection no problem, just can't figure how to set it up to use the mobile internet included in my price plan?
Also when I try to install the Blackberry Appworld, it says my device is not supported - even when I try viewing on the Blackberry's browser and connecting to my laptop! Why is this?

It works fine for sometime and then somehow it goes into the bootloop and I tried to hard reset the phone using recovery mode a couple of times and delete the data but again it gives me the same problem after a day or so. I want to flash the rom in the same. Which rom should I flash in the same and some instructions and the link to download the rom. Also do I need to root my phone to install the rom, I have enabled the USB Debugging from developer option, wouldn't that be suffice.

Mar 4, 2010So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?

But they apparently activated (I got a bunch of stupid charges from the international text!) so $$$ is not the problem. Also, it's not jailbroken or anything.

Everything works browser, txt, MMS, calls, even my weather app. Just every time I try to log into Facebook, it tells me "Could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later. If this continues, contact your service provider for support".I came from a Tmo BB Curve so the service was already there. I re-registered on the BB network, resent the service books from the web and from my phone, did hard re-starts, went online to My Tmobile and updated the IMEI. I uninstalled the app from the phone, performed a hard reset, then reinstalled the app from the Blackberry App Store.
