On my 8900 the trackball is functioning just fine moving from program to program on the main menu. However, whenever I try to click to launch something the phonebook just opens up. I've pulled the battery and updated the software and it's still happening. Not able to make or recieve calls either.

Uncaught Exception: application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app (232) is not responding I am unable to add contacts to my address book nor can I edit the existing one. When I try, the phone locks up and I have to do a reboot. After the restart the phone show the error message above.

Recently I noticed this strange behaviour. It does not happen with all phone calls, but it already happened twice since yesterday, I receive a phone call and once I hang up I'm sent to the iPhone's main screen with the green warning bar informing me to click there to return to my Facetime call. If I click I'm sent to the Facetime app.
But notice that I did not make a Facetime call, I received a standard phone call.Â

But I have noticed that since then 3 out of 5 times I unlock my phone it unlocks to the NBA game time app page in the play store. I now don't remember which app suggested this download. So I assume it was the sports center app but can't find anything that would keep triggering this issue. I even download the app and deleted to see if it would stop but to no success...

How do i view my backup (in particular the phonebook) without connecting to the phone?
The phone app keeps opening all by itself. I have the galaxy gear 2 hooked up to it through bluetooth all the time and I don't know if that is the culprit, the phone has a software issue, or it is a hardware issue.

The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....

The same has been exposed to splashing water (shower), which is acceptable because the equipment is designed for these situations splashes and even submersion, to its limits of course, had the same problems on the 09/08/15 03: 29 am began an endless vibration, even turning off the machine vibration remained and after endless vibration, 05:00 am it stopped and did not return to vibrate, but began another breakdown, celebrates open the camera unintentionally, the which it was in this condition when I got to this point of the complaint, (5:15 am) and so far did not return open.
I believe it is a problem in sealing the camera button, as it was for him that the problem manifested itself. I now believe that if there was water into the unit, the motherboard was damaged, so need immediate replacement device, for me the device is an essential commodity. I look forward soon return Sony's what should I do in this situation, since the device has addiction but not stopped operating (for now).
Having a issue where apps will randomly launch when I unlock my phone (using the fingerprint scanner). It's just not one app it's many different apps on my phone. And no none of the apps where open before hand.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to the Droid 3 a few days ago and I am so far pretty happy the only issue that I am having is that my car dock screen only pops up if the vehicle mount is connect to a charger and it is plugged into to the power. If I unplug it the regular home screen pops up. I am using a Motorola Droid 3 vehicle mount and a vehicle charger that came with my Droid to media package. It also happens with my daughter's Droid 3, so I don't know if the phones have an issue or the vehicle mount has an issue.
