Apr 5, 2010I just got an X6. I don't have experience with any other nokia smart phones.So what is the function of SIP settings under Settings->connectivity->admin settings? Is it supposed to allow you to make VOIP calls? I read in the forums that a lot other phones can be made doing so. If this is the case, how do I setup my profile? Dec 2, 2010upgraded my X3-02 to firmware 5.60, but failed to backup before the update. The results, an empty fone with a new firmware, with everything else is now gone. The fone settings, certificates, apps, even OVI store now is not in the phone anymore.Trying hard to find all over the net to find solution for this. I thought maybe if i can at least get Ovi Store back, then i can install back all the missing apps. However its impossible to find the Ovi Store installer for X3-02 anywhere. Trying to install apps through web browser always give me certificate error. always.
I figured, maybe, just maybe, the best thing to overcome this is for someone to help me on the backup. Maybe other X3-02 user can help, if you dont mind, backup your data settings + applications into a file, and send it to me so i can restore that to my fone. dont mind any extra games@apps Some default apps (e.g: facebook) are not available to install from anywhere, isk. also i need back the missing certificates, and owh, OVI store!

anyways, I'd like to know if this option still exists, because I'm trying to access a mobile website but its coming up as the full website. When I tried putting an m. in front of the website it didnt work so I'm not sure how to access it.

Jun 5, 2012My brand new Nokia X2-05 does not browse the internet. After typing any address, it behaves like it wants to load and returns "Error occurred. Unable to complete operation. (006)". I had to download and install opera mini which is what i now use in browsing but we know that opera mini closes and the default browser opens when you want to download java files. This means I can't download java files directly onto my phone. really sad.

Mar 12, 2012Today we started spring forward in the US. When I turned on my phone, it looked so different. My X2-01's home screen was changed, the internet was gone, my phone numbers on the phone were all gone. All the default themes and tones are gone. I checked my calendar, all my appointments were gone. Even the games that originally came with the phone, they were all gone. I tried to access the Internet via Menu, no luck.I was on the phone with T-mobile helpdesk almost an hour today, no luck. They e-mailed me the Internet settings etc and I did all step by step, no luck. It looks like the phone has crashed after daylight settings. I can still make phone calls and receive text messages, but it's pretty much what only I can do. Last night all I did was turn it off before I went to bed and turn it on in the morning.

I can connect and can browse internet but after a week can still connect to wifi but the problem is a can't connect to the internet I can't open even google and it says "Browser unable to connect to website". And it also happening at home sometimes i can connect to wifi and can brows to internet but most of the time I cant browse to internet and at my work until now I cant open internet via wifi even the connection is 100%. And when I check to connection manager "status connection (inactive). I also do restore factory settings but I have same problem, I didn't change any setting in my nokia x7.

Feb 16, 2010Having a problem with my Yari and selecting internet settings - the phone simply won't select any internet settings! Everytime a connection is made to the internet, the phone asks for me to choose what internet settings to install.I have sent the settings to the phone from both Sony Ericsson (SE) Website and Optus (operator in Australia). I receive these ok, but settings don't install. No issue with streaming settings.
The phone will not connect to the operator to download settings for MMS/WAP/Internet.
It is similar in nature to this older post:

Steps taken to attempt to resolve:
1. Manual internet settings
2. Operator provided internet settings
3. SE provided internet settings
4. Master reset
5. repeat steps 2 and 3 - same issue.
SE in Australia suggested Master Reset and then code update, which I will try tonight. Other than that, return to retailer.Any one have any suggestions? Hardware or software fault?
