However, I have over 12 GB of memory on my phone. So what gives? I've read forum threads for other Nokia phones that have the same problem and the only solution is to do a hard reset.

May 31, 2011My nokia x6 have the problem when surfing website. It always show " memory is full, please close some application and continue". I'm sure there are no application running other than browser, i'm using the default browser coming with nokia. Why is this happen? The space in phone memory has plenty of space. I'm not sure how to check the RAM space.I saw the spec have 128Mb RAM. My homescreen theme is using the "shortcut bar" theme. All the stuff are original, didn't install much application on it.

Jul 12, 2012I am having a problem with the Web browser (NokiaBrowser) when displaying certain animated GIFs. The Web browser crashes with the error "Memory full. Close some applications and try again.". One example of such animated GIF is here: [URL]
I am using NokiaBrowser 7.3.1.34 and E52 firmware 091.003. The animation worked flawlessly in older firmware/browser versions.

Sep 14, 2012Nokia 808 PureView Memory Error !So i bought my new nokia 808 and i made some photos put some songs in it and everything was going fine.Today in morning when i was shoting a photo and whent to edit it appeared this message :" Memory is full.Please delete some data first and then try again"So i opened "Files" to see my memory status.

I open details of Phone Memory and it says that Images take 5787 kb. I open image folder in it and theres nothing.

Mar 17, 2010Need to differentiate between the incoing and outgoing call duration? Any application is available for it? I need it to track it for my billing purpose as I am having only 500 min of free international outgoing calls every month after that it will be chargable. Rightnow, it showing the overall incoming and outgoing which is useless.. new phone and new to mac and NOT looking for jailbreak atleast for 6 months..untill getting the things familiar with it.any suggestions?Also, need to have a full screen internet browser.safari is hiding top and bottom of the page and it's very annoying need to have a full screen browsing experience like opera,skyfire.

Jun 5, 2012My brand new Nokia X2-05 does not browse the internet. After typing any address, it behaves like it wants to load and returns "Error occurred. Unable to complete operation. (006)". I had to download and install opera mini which is what i now use in browsing but we know that opera mini closes and the default browser opens when you want to download java files. This means I can't download java files directly onto my phone. really sad.
My brand new Nokia X2-05 screen flickers intermittently, most frequently especially when i'm running java applications or games..

Jul 4, 2010Following on from my post "Nokia N97 is this the worst phone they have ever made?" I have discovered yet another problem with my USELESS N97. I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !
If anyone has any ideas other than throwing under the wheels of a lorry let me know, I'd be very grateful. Nokia have said that because this is a different problem to the one its being returned for repair AGAIN it can't be done at the same time.Am I missing something here or what? I know I'm from the Emerald Isle but we're not as stupid as people think

I was in the process of setting it up and had just defined three mailboxes (Exchange, GMail and IMAP) and installed Skype. It turned out that I had to exit Skype before I could connect USB.
So what is a multitasking OS worth if it cannot cope with one extra application, or should I blame the programmers of Skype?

Aug 9, 2011I am getting error messages that the phone memory is full, and I should move data to the SD card. However, as far as I can tell, there is practically nothing on the phone memory. I have no apps installed, everything I can is set to use the SD card, SD card is the default memory.I have a few emails, but nothing in sent items, or deleted items. There are a couple of hundered contacts, but I can't image that uses much.Viewing details using OVI it tells me 3.8MB of 256MB free.The software version is 054.005, and according to OVI that is the latest.I have seen lots of other threads with the same problem, but have not been able to find any solution in the threads. I have tried everything I have read (re-installing the software, rebooting, etc. etc.). Can I view what is in the phone memory (I cannot find a way, only to view what is on the SD card) if I could view it then memory I would know how to free memory up.

Aug 19, 2011I encounter this problem, usually when I browse. I usually browse with Opera Mini. If I open some portal and click on few pages (one at a time) very often I got out of memory problem and Opera Mini quits. I have to start it again. I don't know how to free up more internal memory, as there is 50MB of it and I moved all programs and files that are not locked to memory card. Now there is a little more then 23MB of internal memory free and that's all I could free up. All other is taken by system files and folders.

I have deleted many files and do not think there are more that can be deleted without losing things that I need. I have deleted some apps from the phone. How do I clear the cache on the phone?

I select a contact and it gives me 3 options, 'call', 'message' and 'view in contacts'. If I select view in contacts is brings up an error message saying 'Contacts: Memory Full. End some running applications and try again'. I have no applications running at all and this is my only request. Do you know how to resolve?

I have reset the settings to factory but nothing has helped.I'm starting to get fed up of this phone, it has good navigation properties but that is just about the only thing it has going for it now.
