Xseries :: X3-02 Keeps On Flashing "phone Memory Almost Full, Delete Items"?
Dec 15, 2012
My X3-02 keeps on flashing "phone memory almost full, delete items". How do I change the memory in-use setting from "phone" to "memory card" because my memory card is not even 1/4 full. I have saved all my contacts (1000+) in my phone memory. I have initially stored them in the memory card but I don't know how to make them appear in the "Contacts list" so I copied them thru the SIM (250 names at a time) from my old fone (bluetooth Sync&Back up didn't work) to my X3-02 phone memory.

i have a nokia X3-02 for 6 months and already i can't receive anymore messages because my memory is full, a week ago i did a reset and now it's already full again. I also did everything what the support says, first i was a big fan for nokia for many years..now it's slowly killing
I know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc). Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?
I recently got the excellent E72, so I unlocked my old 5800 xpress music so my wife could have a decent phone (it was on T mobile she is on Orange), everything works fine however I have a flashing envelope icon in the top right hand corner, when I touch this it says "sim memory full", I have deleted all the contacts etc from the sim and moved them to the phone memory but it still persists, can anyone tell me how to stop this ?, its not a major problem but I'd like to stop it.
My n8 has a little flashing message symbol in the top right corner, when I click on it, it says sim memory full, how do I access my sim data to delete some data, I tried deleting some contacts in phone book but didn't do nothing.
I am about to back up my files before installing the latest firmware update but the phone says "memory full, close some applications" or something to that effect. However, I have over 12 GB of memory on my phone. So what gives? I've read forum threads for other Nokia phones that have the same problem and the only solution is to do a hard reset.
My nokia x6 have the problem when surfing website. It always show " memory is full, please close some application and continue". I'm sure there are no application running other than browser, i'm using the default browser coming with nokia. Why is this happen? The space in phone memory has plenty of space. I'm not sure how to check the RAM space.I saw the spec have 128Mb RAM. My homescreen theme is using the "shortcut bar" theme. All the stuff are original, didn't install much application on it.
Nokia 808 PureView Memory Error !So i bought my new nokia 808 and i made some photos put some songs in it and everything was going fine.Today in morning when i was shoting a photo and whent to edit it appeared this message :" Memory is full. Please delete some data first and then try again"So i opened "Files" to see my memory status.
I'm selling my X6-00 16GB soon, i did a hard reset with the *#7370#* AND i did a hard reset with the Call key+end key+camera+ turn on. Neither of these did a format on my E: on the 16GB memory. All my pictures and music are still on the phone. How do i format the memory? Everywhere i've read it says that the hard reset deletes all files, but it didn't.
I need some body, tell my how can I install ovi content on the memory card when I use Wifi on my handset 5800.cause all programs immediately goes and installed on phone memory and it is almost full
I am trying to bluetooth stuff to my phone and it tells me that my phone memory is full, but I have a 1gb memory card. How do I send the stuff straight to my memory card?
I have a Samsung Galaxy 5S and have email set up. In my trash folder it shows that I have 1345 items but when I click on trash I cannot see anything in that folder. I am suspecting that these are "junk" emails but how can I get rid of them. It is now telling me that there is not enough space so cannot view any other emails. how to see these "trash emails" so that I can delete them? All of my other email folders are empty.
my e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.
I have a E52 with all my apps installed on memory card and only have 35 Mb free. The folder that have 24 Mb are the "Others" but searching in this folder with X-plore say that are empty.Any suggestion will be appreciated.
My n97 is showing that the phone memory is almost full. Of the 73MB available, I have 9MB free. I've gone into everything on the memory and plugged it into computer and can't see anything that takes up anywhere near that amount of space.I have updated to firmware 20.0.019 after it was eventually released for my code and it made sweet F A difference, even though it's supposed to free up memory. If anyone knows anything about how to sort this please let me know, as it's starting to **bleep** me off by making videos jump and i can't update other things like ovi maps because "memory is full".
The N97 phone memory 77MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 20Mb of material. Where is the rest of the memory going to? How do I get to see it to delete whatever is filling up the memory. I noticed that during today the memory kept getting full even though there was no activity on the phone
Today I launched TuneWiki for the first time. Before that my phone memory was normal (not low). And after I registered at TuneWiki, the app scanned my music, and after that I got an error saying that: Disk space exhausted. Please cleanup the disk or re-install application on another drive. Well, the truth is, that I can't even uninstall it, because I get almost the same error. Tried to install the app again without uninstalling but the same happened.
I wonder why my phone memory is almost full all the time. I dont have anythin on that memory, all applications are in mass memory and all pics and wids. I have tried to move data to mass memory but i have already moved all that i can and i still have only 7MB free space in phone memory. I cant even install new ovi store to my phone because I just dont have enough space. and I dont understand why it tryes to installa it to c: drive enethough my settings in ovi store tells it to install all things to mass drive.

I was wondering if you could help me. I have been using my Nokia 5230 as normal for a couple of months, and have noticed that the phone memory is always full or close to full. I have a memory card on there which I use for all my music etc. After reading other posts I cleared my browser cache which freed up 7MB or so. I also discovered 16MB in installed applications. Yet I still have about 55MB unaccounted for. I then bought a USB cable to connect it to the computer and investigate on windows explorer. The properties of the root drive for the phone memory show as mostly in use, yet when I go through each of the individual folders nothing is there. I do not have many applications installed and they are set up to install on the memory card anyway.
Can anyone please solve my problem as to where on earth this 55MB of unaccounted memory is coming from?
A couple days ago my phone started acting dumb, it says my phone memory is full but i dont have anything on it, its all on my memory card. So when i get messages i cant recieve them because it says my phone memory is full that i have to delete some data and i check my phone memory and it says i have 1528 kb of messages used but i dont have any
So i was out earlier in the snow, and to my annoyance, it kept beeping saying 'memory full' and then i just click ok. And there obviously wasn't much memory since when people called me it played the default tune which is a sign that it is low on memory. However i look at the phone memory 35mb free.Look at the open applications, and apart from the contacts there was nothing else, but i closed the contacts never the less. However it still kept saying this. However it has seemed to stop now and be fine but never the less i would still like to know if there is any reason that i haven't thought of, of why it might have been saying this?
I own a E7-00 and would install some more maps to cover more areas. Now I found that the phone memory is complete full and mass memmory only has 1.6gb left.
How can I determine which application or data is using storage memory? There are no movies, music or other "big" files copied to the phone (as far as I know). The only thing I know is "maps". From my experience with E90 and E71 all available maps need about 8GB space, this should fit to a E7 with 16GB
